I just recently bought this preowned beauty at a consignment shop in nyc. When i purchased it, it was stuffed with tissue, i removed the paper and checked out the bag it was in perfect shape. Now, I'm noticing this HUGE dent in the side of the bag and its driving me crazy! I stuffed it with paper for a couple days and i didn't notice a difference, I'm so sad about it! Does anyone have any advice?!

Hey everyone :-)
Thank you so much for this thread!! I finally got my hands on my very own Céline mini luggage in black (silver hardware).

Would you be so kind and tell me if this is pebbled or drummed leather? (Or is Céline even making bags with pebbled leather these days?! You probably know better than me :-) ) The bag just got delivered to the Retailer Store so it's a brand new one :-)

I also read all of your helpful posts about what products can help the bag to stay in a great shape but as there were various products mentioned I am very unsure what I should purchase for mine (any product that is especially good for this kind of leather?).

I would like to use a product to clean/condition the bag and also one that helps the bag to be waterresistent :-) sorry if my English isn't perfect!

Thank you all so much!! :-)

Thank you!

I'd suggest putting some ponytail scarves on the handles to protect them. Or you could buy a product from loving my bags (gosh I can't remember their name but their products are well-recommended in the bal forum). It woukd help to keep grime off handles. I'd travle with baby wipes for immediate cleanups as well. Enjoy your bag though. A phantom is meant to be used with love. Good luck.

I purchased twillys to cover the handles and always carry wipes with me but I'm scared for the bottom of the bag. :-s It's just the white is so beautiful I'm scared it'll get ruin especially how I'm not that careful with my bags. :| but thank you for the rec!

Does anyone has tipps on how to take care of Palmelato leather especially how to treat it for water stains??
I never use my palmelato luggage when it rains but yesterday on my way home it suddenly started raining and the nightmare happened... luckily i was close to home so i the bag only caught a few drops and didnt completely got soaked but now I have timy water stains all over the bag. They are really visible and it looks really really horrible. I honestly want to cry because I try to be really careful with this high maintenance bag and something like this happened. Any advice?? Normal leather care did not help at all.

I don't really know any products which will remove water marks, but they do fade with time. The same thing has happened to me with a Lambskin Celine bag. I don't really mind though, because the only thing to prevent this happening would be to never use the bag. Even if you baby it, these things happen. As long as you don't throw it round and leave it on the floor etc. The amount of wear will be fairly minimal.

So sorry this happened.

Has the appearance of your bag improved since this happened? I hope so. I woukd recommend a water protectant. I got mine from Aldo and believe that Coach sells a similar product.

Hope it all works out.

Hi all! Just got a new Mini Luggage in Dune drummed leather! (I had mistakenly said pebble before, but I know now that it is drummed.)

Has anyone used Collonil on light drummed leather? Did it darken the color? TIA! So excited about the new bag and just want to make sure I take the best care of it possible :)

I used the Collonil Waterstop spray and the Collonil Gel on my drummed vermillion trapeze and it didn't change the leather at all. Congrats on your new bag!

Just read through this entire thread. Thank you everyone for the wonderful tips!

I saw that no one addressed hardware. I have a new (all black) trapeze with silver hardware and I'm afraid of the hardware becoming tarnished/oxidized or scratched. Has anyone protected their hardware or polished it in any way?

Has anyone (probably based in the UK) ever used Clarks premium leather cream on their bags? I'm based in the UK so can't be bothered waiting for Apple brand leather care conditioner to be shipped over from the US. I previously used Collonil leather gel which worked ok, but just wondering if there was something closer to home that people have tried and tested.
