Hi all, last week I bough a celine phantom bag in flesh color (nude/pink) and I still did not use her as I am not sure how to protect. Today I ordered the collonil nano protect spray. Do you recommend it to use on such a lightly color? Can´t wait to use it. Do you recommend also the baby wipes for light color? Thanks all. xoxo

Hey there did you read through th is thread? I'm pretty sure you will be fine with collonil.

Hello,
I do have Celine Phantom cabas. It is new. I decided to use blackrock leather conditioner.
when i did put little amount on bag and wipe it out with soft cloth it was dye on cloth. I did try one second cabas i have the same story.Anybody with the same experience?
Thanks

May I recommend that you read this thread? Your experience should be fine but if you are yet to, look.through the thread as I believe yoir bags will be fine. Good luck.

Has anyone successfully conditioned and/or waterproofed a cream or light-colored pebbled leather Celine bag? I recently purchased the Edge in black and cream, and am really afraid of doing anything to mess up the beautiful cream leather.

I saw a recommendation for Apple Leather Care to condition, followed by Collonil Waterstop to waterproof, pebbled leather. Just wondering if anyone has used either/both (or something else entirely) on cream or white leather?

TIA!

Hey serenityneow! I have used apple on light colored YSL.and Balenciaga leathers to no ill-effect.

Have you done a reveal yet? :graucho:

Incredible! I have never heard of this trick. Have you tried it yourself?

LOL I never would have imagine using excess sebum to smoothen out scuffs. LOL why didn't it smoothen out my face while it was on it?

Nope, lol. Didn't need to cos have not had any scratches yet. I first heard of this in the Chanel forum for lambskin flaps so I wasn't too surprised when the Celine SA told me. She actually showed me lol. Yup, she tried it on 1 of the display bags - smooth leather & recommend to rub it with the interior of the dust bags. It did make the scratch lighten a lot.

Hmm... As for your face, no comments 😁

For those living in USA, Blackrock and Obenhauf's is good for Celine boxes. But because i live in Europe it was very difficult to find and expensive to buy, docride and a Celine SA in Geneva suggested i use Saphir Renovateur. I can swear by this cream. I used it on my coral, black and olive box. She smell and looks Perfect.
And for white or cream box, they suggested i use Meltonian.
Good luck ladies.

Would blackrock and obenhauf work for a smooth leather trapeze?

I do not treat every bag the same way. I have a few products (cleaners, conditioners, protectors) and I always test a product on a tiny spot on the bag to see results before doing the whole thing. And I know that there are products I use on calf or box leather that I would not use on exotics. I guess the best rule is that there are no rules, and to always always test first.

If I want to waterproof a bag I will treat it when it is new, otherwise I tend to wait until the leather needs a little care and just stick to conditioning it.
Hi, I have the Celine Luggage in flesh with Supple Calf Skin. Do you recommend to protect it with a spray? thanks and best regards

Can someone please advise how to take care of the handles or straps parts?

Bags will usually get abrasion easily at these places and the leather will discolour or be rough/flake off...

I'm thinking of waterproofing my black nano to prevent this... Will it work?
The handles on my celine mini in grey souris are starting to darken. I used a regular white eraser and it lightened it quite a bit. Its probably not best for the leather but it did work. Just need to recondition it now.

Coxy All Net is a foam which removes dirt and discoloration, it's been recommended to clean discolored handles etc. :)

Baby powder is amazing to remove grease stains from food or natural oils!!! Just rub a little bit of powder directly on the stain (using a finger is totally acceptable) and wipe the excess powder and grease with a wipe or Kleenex!

I recently bought the Celine black satin skates, but I'm a bit unsure whether to use a protection spray? Have any of you used a protection spray before wearing them?

I have only worn them once and when I got home, I wiped off a little dirt from the tip of the white rubber sole, however, unfortunately I afterwards touched the satin which resulted in a white stain from the rubber :-(((.. I've tried to take off the stain with a little water + soapy water, unfortunately without any luck.. Have any of you guys experienced the same or do you know how to remove a stain from satin..??? Any help would be highly appreciated; don't you just hate when you get a stain on something brand new :-(((

I don't understand how the stain happened? I own a pair of the black satin skates too for quite some time. Never applied anything on it.

Do you have pictures of the stain?

Sorry for the late reply; I finally managed to remove the stain by rubbing really gently with a nylon stocking (an advice I got from a friend).. I don't really understand how it could remove the stain, but just so happy that it's gone :-)..
