I purchased the tricolor nano over a month ago and still havent taken it out because i'm scared the leather is going to get ruined! does anyone have any suggestions? The lady who sold it to me said the best way to take care of it is to not touch the suede.. :|

Hiya,
Just used Collonil premium waterproof spray on my black envelope luggage.
Can states that it can be used on smooth leather (including nappa) and suede..

After applying 2 coats and dried, leather seems slightly shinier. I do like it, the leather looks nourished. I did notice some slight colour run on the buffing cloth when I buffed the bag as stated on the can after spraying, it looks like specks of dust. No much of those. Colour on the bag looks the same.. Has anyone have that happened to them?

I also waterproofed the suede interior. It does look slightly darker, but seeing how clumsy I am these days with my belongings.. I think it's a fair exchange for having more protection..

Hope this helps!

Hmm it just looks like hard water drying on glasses, you can see the marks? But they come off when I wipe them with wet wipes

Today I finally sprayed my supple-leather khaki phantom w/Collonil Waterstop spray and it really looks just fine. A touch shinier, but the color didn't really change. Any slight difference is canceled out by a but of relief that the bag is protected. I sprayed the suede interior as well. Not sure if it will help keep the inside clean, but I thought it would be nice to try...

Now to finally start carrying that bag!

Just want to update that I've bought the luggage out to just see how the spray has settled and the bag seems to be back to original.. Like nothing was being done to it. The Matt smooth leather, beautiful leather smell, no residue.

What would you recommend from the Collonil line? The nano complete or the heavy duty waterstop? I have the phantom in navy blue with orange trim and I'm afraid of water stains and scratches that can get on my bag. Thanks!! :smile1:

I've tried the nano spray on all my Celine bags, and it's fine so far, although I'm not sure if it prevents scratches.

Hi ladies! What to do if the mini smooth leather got wet? Havent waterproof it since it was in transit and the box got wet bcoz of heavy rain and flood in manila. Will the leather get brittle? 

For those in Singapore, I've always sent my bags to BagSpa or Colorwash to get them protected with a transparent coating. This preserves the color of the bags for longer, helps to waterproof the leather and supposedly prevents scratches according to the lady at Colorwash. I think this is especially helpful since the weather in Singapore's always so cranky, from hot and humid to a crazy thunderstorm.

On the other hand, some people prefer leaving the leather to breathe normally so it can age well, and just wipe it down after every use with a leather conditioner. (:

Thanks! I just bought a box bag but there were marks all over it. love the vintage look - but i know that more marks are bound to come. Will visit color wash :) Do you know the price?

I'm from Sydney Australia and recently bought the celine luggage mini- before taking it out i want to prevent any damange. Hi all, I need some advice...I just received Micro in beige and it's so gorg! After "inspecting" I noticed a small discreet stain in front where it looks like someone cleaned it off. I ordered this over the phone from Barney's in Beverly Hills & they said it came from another store. For the price $2200 I was expecting a near to perfect bag. The bottom already has scuff marks and I could've lived with them but I don't know if I can live with the minor stain in front. You can only tell if it's pointed out. Since these bags especially the micro size, are so difficult to find, should I just keep it? I'm debating on returning since it took forever for me to find one? At the same time I feel like for te money I've spent, I should get a stain free bag? Thoughts? twitter.com/PinkSatchelGirl/status/247461645616570369/photo/1
