wow, marietouchet. i love the way you folded those scarves the way the stores do.
I think I have OCD ... haha ... and I love to organise my stuff in colours, and in order.
However, I only have a few scarves. Maybe I should get similar folders with binder ring holes on their sides, and ring them up in a file. That way, the folders are straight and pressed. Going to try that out soon !
Thanks for the idea =)
Unbelievable!!! I was just attempting to organize all my beauties and God was truly looking down on me. This is an amazing idea and I just have one question. What size of envelope and stiffener did you order. I am waiting with bated breath to place my order NOW!!!![]()

I put little flags on the side of envelopes - like they do with folders at the doctor's office to avoid misfiling
I file the scarves all by color - pink, purple, red etc
hi!i've been tweaking this system and finally arrived at something that works JUST the way i need it to. i have to see the buggers in order to pick one, but i also wanted storage materials that wouldn't damage the silk. the solution was archival window envelopes and stiffener boards -- fold the scarf and place it over the stiffener board, insert into an envelope and arrange file-style in a basket. (OK, more than one basket -- but i'm NOT telling how many! )

Marie, thank you for sharing the pics.
Do you know of a website that has the clear envelopes that you are using?
Also, what is the fourth carre in this pic? I recognize Triomphe Paladin, Fetes Venetiennes, A Cor & a Cri, then ???

margie you had the same problem that I did - the scarves are square and 10 in sq envelopes would be perfect, but envelopes don't come in square![]()
