From what I can see in this picture you look great with it - love it against the crisp white! If it is the amount if orange that jars - could you possibly tie it to show less of that - it is just too beautiful to be set free:smile:
Thank you, dear Eliwon! Yes, I don't think I will ever have the heart to say goodbye to this baby. I will try to be more creative (and brave!) with mixing it with other colors in my closet that I never thought about before:smile:

Ok, I'm ready to play! So I also made the "filling a hole in my collection" move and bought a maxi twilly at the last sale. I haven't reached for it since I bought it. I don't know why. I just might not be a maxi twilly person. I played around with it today and here it is. I think it's OK. I think part of my problem is not knowing how to tie it so I like it. I tried a giant bow and it was pukeworthy.
All I want to know right now is: what lipstick are you wearing. I need it in my life!

Ok, I need some help with this scarf. Love this watery fish themed Annie Faivre scarf. To me, this is the best color way of this design, because the water background is a turquoise blue. These are good colors for me.
So what is my problem? I never reach for it, because I think I don't have the right color tops for it.
My usual outfit is a tshirt with a cardigan or jacket.
This picture is with a linen sweater, but I think it is just too much turquoise, plus I don't wear the sweater all that often.
So suggestions on outfits to pair it with are what I am seeking!!!
( I think it would look good with white, but I cannot wear all white on my top half) possibly a white tee plus a colored cardigan, though.

Such a great scarf but on the turquoise top it looks blah.... I would wear it with mustard

So thank you scarfies for making me pull out the unloved only to rethink my options.
Unworn? It needs to come out. It is simply gorgeous!

I'm being blunt so forgive me but I think the problem is in both cases the background colour, you don't appear suit the muddy colours. It's a shame because the other colours in the scarves look great.
Honesty is good! That is the purpose of this week, is it not? And before I start sounding like Yoda, I have to agree with your assessment totally. My unused mid-brown scarves are proof of it. I think mid-tones do not suit me. I have a blue Correspondence which I never reach for. It's a middling sort of blue. I find that I do reach for powder blue or dark navy. I do much better with clear tones. I've branched out into neon and I'm going to try jewel bright some day.

And now, for the Support Group, I give you Big Gold Thing with Wide Gold Border
Lots of gold in both but Tahiti ties with plenty of cream showing, and Rouages has lovely intricate detailing. So they are very wearable. Albert isn't getting these from me :p I have Rouages in another cw, big gold centre with green & navy border. The big gold thing barely shows in a bias fold.

The colours cook really good on you, but i so hear you on not knowing how to tie it... that's why i don't have any MT

I'd pair it with bright pink, dark navy, bordeaux, possibly...

Million thanks - I know exactly where the meet up will take place - am actually going to London next Wednesday so will def make it - you will recognise me bearing and wearing gold and my last spectacularly wrong buy - a very bright turqoise moussie. To add insult to injury I love real YG and a major reason for visiting is to see the Scythians exhibition at BM - go figure

That is capital! Turquoise is a no-fly zone for me too, but it's possible that good old Albert sitting there on his giant gold bottom can pull it off. Not much revenge for us after all, maybe, but I think I might forgive gold all its insults if I could see that Scythians exhibition. I envy you enormously. Do report back, especially on the bling, will you please?
