Well here’s mine. I love the design and it has sentimental value due to its Opera Garner theme. But...

The pink feels too sweet and the hits of brown, orange and red don’t cut the sweetness.

It never ties nicely, you can never see the pretty bits enough.

I now have the pink Pegase which is more sophisticated so I reach for it when I want pink.

Looks better on the bed than it does on me.

Does she stay or does she go? Perhaps try harder. Can’t remember last time I wore it:

Agree with all taupe or brown with this will make you look couture sophisticated rather than the sugar plum fairy.

Ok, I'm ready to play! So I also made the "filling a hole in my collection" move and bought a maxi twilly at the last sale. I haven't reached for it since I bought it. I don't know why. I just might not be a maxi twilly person. I played around with it today and here it is. I think it's OK. I think part of my problem is not knowing how to tie it so I like it. I tried a giant bow and it was pukeworthy.

I like this on you!

I like the last look best!

Thanks! That's the best option too I think.

Oh dear! I totally get how you feel about this but I love the colors on you. Do the knot you are doing but wrap it twice around your neck first. That will rein those tails in! It's a lot of fabric around the neck so that makes this a "winter only" knot for me, but if you live somewhere cooler, then it might be a good fit for you!

Thanks for choosing my outfit for me today eagle. [emoji4]

So what do we think? Better. Not sure so will wear the day and see....

Little voice told me that silver Mors and brown tweed don’t “go” so will try again and with navy blue tomorrow. Have never tried with dark violet either, Ksuromax, but I will.

All my others just seem to work whatever I throw on. Or maybe I’m deluding myself.

Pretty together!

The scarf is darn pretty the way you've tied it. And it's darn pretty on you. Just my opinion.
Thank you, eagle. I do like this knot... it's a good way to hide the borders. And I like it with the necklace, which is just costume crystal beads but treasured because it belonged to my dear Gramma. It's just that (to quote @papertiger ) wearing it is a lot more work than wearing most of my other scarves.

What I love about H scarves is that they feel effortless... just throw on a casual outfit, add a coordinating-ish scarf, and go. With this one, I have to put in a fair amount of effort to make it look sort-of okay. It's not ghastly. It's just not great.

This is a WHOLE lot better, pirula! Now the pink in your scarf really has a chance to shine. I think in your previous photo, the two pinks (scarf and cardi) were fighting with each other.
I do know what you mean, though, about certain scarves working no matter what you're wearing, and others needing particular outfits to shine. So then the question becomes, do you love the scarf enough to put in that extra work? Is it worthwhile having a "high maintenance" scarf???
Off topic (sort of)... I had a high maintenance boyfriend once. Dumped him. :graucho:

Love the maxi twilly on both of you! I have the Brazil in navy, it’s a good summer scarf in Charlotte IMG_1511897953.732589.jpg

View attachment 3891681 Here's my outlier: a "Plumes" mousseline gavroche. I never reach for it. I don't keep my "mistakes"; I sell them and tell myself they're going to good homes! And I'm selective, so my mistakes are pretty rare: usually it's a pattern I love in the wrong colorway for me. When I can get my hands on the right one, I sell its predecessor. But this little one is not sale-able. I paid next to nothing, had to wash it, and one of the corners is unraveling. No one would buy it, so it languishes in my scarf box. I'm glad I pulled it out for this week's theme (challenge?); maybe I'll wear it more now!
You might be able to sell it - you never know. People go crazy for Plumes!

Ok, I need some help with this scarf. Love this watery fish themed Annie Faivre scarf. To me, this is the best color way of this design, because the water background is a turquoise blue. These are good colors for me.
So what is my problem? I never reach for it, because I think I don't have the right color tops for it.
My usual outfit is a tshirt with a cardigan or jacket.
This picture is with a linen sweater, but I think it is just too much turquoise, plus I don't wear the sweater all that often.
So suggestions on outfits to pair it with are what I am seeking!!!
( I think it would look good with white, but I cannot wear all white on my top half) possibly a white tee plus a colored cardigan, though.
