Magnificent Annie Faivre collection and showcase of details, ABQ2ATL! Looking forward to this week!

Only Hermès can made hood ornaments look so fascinating! :amuse:

Or gosh this is fabulous Croisette. Another ban breaker.

I hope you feel better weibandy! You look fabulous even if you don't feel it!

Gorgeous graphics etoile!

Fantastic ABQ! I'm going to enjoy reading everyone's choices this week! And I will see if I can't make a decision myself (that may just be too hard for me....)

*sigh* one-off my favorites Croisette!

Many thanks litchi, lanit & bunnycat!

View attachment 3583345 Hard to really pick only one favorite designer, just like really hard to pick a single favorite scarf. Like Abq, I like Annie Faivre, and probably have more AF scarves than any other designer. However, I decided to feature my favorite of the new designers- Anne Shirley. Today I am wearing the first AS scarf I bought- ZEbra Pegasus.
I love all ocean/nautical and botanical themes, so later I will post my other 2 favorite designs from her- jardin Anglais and Under the waves.
So beautiful with your matching shirt, scarf!

Can I see modeling pics of 55 x 55 scarves. I need ideas how to wear this size

MYH is the queen of big scarves, check out her thread:

look here for the CSGMs:

I'm coming back so belatedly to thank everyone for all your nice comments and likes regarding my Quadricube!

Pudfish, to answer your question below, the scarf ring I used is actually a horn napkin ring. I purchased it at a local shop to use with scarves and shawls. Its inside diameter and height both measure 4cm. Any similar, lightweight napkin ring would likely work as well. I hope that helps!

napkin ring! that is a brilliant idea! thanks :flowers:

"ban breaker"
you crack me up, just what I need after a VERY long day at work

I did not get this blue Zebra Pegasus "because I have enough blue/turquoise/aqua scarves already"
What was I thinking?
It is a great one, especially on you.

I agree its very difficult for me to say my favorite H designer, but I will say Aline Honore gets a lot of my attention and I probably have an equal amount of AF and AH silks. I have not counted because it changes every year!

So here are a few of my very wearable Honore silks that I do love.... So far none have been released thus far so that tells me something about favorites, no?

Such a beautiful collection!! I also love Aline Honore!!

Well I'm not going to sound very original because am a HUGE Alice Shirley fan having every design she's done for women (and would consider Grrr in the right cw) and so scarf sisters to so many of you. Love my Annie Faivre scarves of course, though I have less than lots of regulars and I am totally gaga over so many Aline Honoré's designs being proud scarf sisters to quite a few scarfies here, including many of lanit's beautiful examples.

I can't decide who is my absolute favourite because I am a fickle child, so all I can say it depends. I wear my favourite scarf everyday, it's just a different favourite scarf.

I will therefore choose another favourite, Dimitri R or Dimitri Rybaltchenko. I just find his designs so diverse, mostly witty and of often graphically clever and he designs for H in so many ways. I have missed out on some I wanted including Cheval Surprise (no good cws for me) Hola Flamenca! which I must get one day Galop Volant which is so airy and Photo Finish (couldn't decide on a cw, too much choice) and some designs are not quite me but still fascinating.

Here is Minuit, (the TBC part of Quand Soudain and another I don't have) of which I have 3 cws, all 70s. In this design I see SuperH coming to the rescue, giving me a little strength, beauty and purpose to my everyday days, often pressured, mundane and unrelenting. My scarves remind me none of 'this' really matters, only nature, craftsmanship and artistry. Commerce is a part of it but to be able to wear such tactile 'art' is worth every penny (don't tell H!)

Another design from the same season (SS14) Les Facéties de Pégase
I love Pegasus, who flew from the slain Gorgon, and of course he carried the god Hermes between the world of here and there, reality and fantasy, life and death. Pegasus is the fantasy and spirit version of the horse. I find this design so dynamic and I love this very DR of now you see me and now I'm just an abstract pattern

and for some reason this makes me think of my father as he was born the year of the Fire Horse
