Lovely new watch, Karen. Love all the red accessories. Perfect shade of red as well.Since I didn’t participate in jewelry week, I’m bringing it here to this week’s theme to show you my newest watch purchase. Timepieces are like jewelry, for sure, and I am very fond of Michele diamond watches. A few years ago I purchased a diamond caber. I just love this design - Roman numerals, diamond-accented finials. I wear it all the time.

But my favorite is the diamond Deco chronograph and I found one about three weeks ago in rose gold. I am in love. Today my SOTD with the same blouse featured is the gorgeous rose/rouge/gold Peuple du Vent plisse, accessorized with a rose gold H ring, a rose extreme Behapi, akoya pearl earrings from Pearl Paradise, two necklaces and of course, the Deco.

Thank you so much, @Redbirdhermes, I love them, too. That plisse has so many incredible roses, lavenders, red plus the golds. A stunner.Lovely new watch, Karen. Love all the red accessories. Perfect shade of red as well.
All so beautiful, Rbh. That cw of Sous le Charme is yummy and your jewelry is lovely with it.Thank you to @Karenska for hosting this week’s Two Scarves, Contrasting and Complementary Colors Week. Thank you also for the kind words about Jewelry Week. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I often pick contrasting or complementary colors when selecting my outfit and scarf for the day. They give the outfit a bit of extra pop.
My scarf of the day is Sous le Charme d'Orphee. This orange-yellow colorway contrasts nicely with my dark blue top.

Fab styling and great use of contrast!Hello,
I start into this week with pattern on pattern. I have two scarves with black and white patterned animals, this Appaloosa and En Liberté! I find them very useful to combine with black and white clothes and I think I should add more, a tiger perhaps or a jaguar (quetzal)? 🫣 And hurray, this function to insert photos works again!View attachment 6190716View attachment 6190717View attachment 6190718
These were made for each other!I am looking forward to this week hosted by @Karenska-- I always learn a lot from these creative styling themes! Here is my most recent combination of two scarves together: a 70 vintage plus CSGT. I wore this outfit to a luncheon in NYC last month and I was just so tickled at how well the combination worked...

Beautiful jewel pink, contrasting sweetly with the periwinkle blue! But I am also super excited to share my SOTD and Scarf Mail-- a new cw of one of my very favorite Annie Faivre designs. With thanks to our lovely and much missed @Coco2606 for the inspiration, here is Chemins de Corail in cw 13 fuschia/gris/bordeaux. I am so delighted to have it and maybe a little on theme because it pairs well with my marinière stripes?

Very cool! We went to visit friend’s ranch in Nebraska last year, and I got to ride the actual ranch horses. We visited some Pony Express sites, too, which inspired me to read a book about Pony Express — and then get the scarf.

Congratulations on your scarf grail, and to your graduate.Good morning!!
This is just a try-on of a recently arrived grail Wild Singapore which I will wear later this morning for celebration of DS’ final exam and thus graduation. A monday should always hold some hugging and champagne.
By coïncidence I think I am almost on theme with blue-orange/yellow.

This is going to be a hot day, but in the meantime I'm going to celebrate the Appaloosa. Many thanks to @AnnaE for leading us into summer with a marvelous and informative Horse Week.
Appaloosa des Steppes is my scarf of the day.

I will reiterate my thanks to @AnnaE (and her co-host Tjerrie) from my previous post and close out horse week with my SOTE, Chevaux Deschaines, by Octave Marsal which features horses made of chains, straps, buckles and stirrups! This season it has been reissued as a 90 doubleface, but I adore my lovely CSGM and how well it coordinates with my cute Evie 💚. Lagniappe!

Posting another archive pic while I am still on the road. Posting tonight from South Bend, Indiana where we have entered the eastern time zone. Here I am wearing Mystère au 24, 90 cm, along with All'Orto Botanico di Palermo CSGM.
Edited to add: I think it was @LKBNOLA who asked if I was avoiding the worst of the heat and still on schedule. No and yes. We hit the worst of it on Friday and Saturday. Today, though still hot was a few degrees cooler and more shade was to be found at the rest areas along the interstate. The dog enjoyed these a lot more. Did have to make an unplanned visit to a veterinarian for our dog but, it was one of our shorter driving days and we were able to keep to schedule. Taking the time to stop and take care of our sweetie pie old pup was so important. He's on antibiotics and will be seen again right after we arrive at our destination later this week.

Wish you all a lovely day!
Thank you very much, dear Jereni. At the moment we have a heat wave here. Difficult to wear scarves, too humid. Being chic must wait...This colorway is sooo good!!! Looks great on you.
Wonderful pattern matching, and I absolutely love the green of that bag! Glorious.
Omg the combo of these pants with this scarf should be STUDIED!!! They look fabulous together!
Oh wow they do look perfect together! I never would have thought. And I’m jealous you had an evening in a place where it was cool enough for two scarves together!
Stunning, congrats! That’s a scarf that just lights up the room. The border is so perfect with the stripes of your top!
Gorgeous! We don’t see enough of that yellow d’Orphee colorway, thank you for sharing it! And congrats on the beautiful and elegant new pearls.
Oh, glad to hear puppy is getting taken care of as needed! Hope it’s nothing too serious. You look like an ethereal vision in your Orto and Mystère.
Wowza, what a great grail acquisition! Looks absolutely fantastic. That HEM!!!! Be still my heart.
