Wearing Sous L’Egide de Mars today. It’s my only wash scarf.
My favourite set of Pierre Marie scarves was acquired because of my educational background 
in literature and librarianship. You know how Gomez Addams swoons when Morticia uses French? Yep, I swoon too when I hear terms like onomatopeia, anthropomorphism, and personification. Nerd? Yep!
I had no idea who was the artist when I stumbled across these scarves, but you betcha I spent the next few years hunting them down.

I am so far behind. Had a long trip and I sillily (is this even a word lol) thought I’d have down time to scroll online here more, but I didn’t sadly. Too busy and too stressed.
As I have said before I don’t travel well, I am a rough traveler. In no way shape or form do I dress glamorous or bring anything “good”. I expect to be sweaty and dirty and get a stain on me or sit on a dirty park bench haha. In my case all of these things did indeed happen plus adding sitting on the beach a lot.
But I did bring my one H scarf for a scarf on site, but of course I couldn’t actually wear it on site due to the heat and sweat. I usually try to wear cheap scarves I don’t care about getting scrubby. I walked 6-9k miles each day over 9 days!! So I’ll post two photos, me putting my ecosse on in hotel haha, and me looking at my child’s new home for 4 years in her new country. Nothing but sunblock on these lips and face so nothing exciting in my pic

Lovely scarf! That’s so amazing that your daughter is on such a big adventure for the next 4 years and it’s wonderful that you get to be there with her to move her in! You look beautiful in your Ecosse, Nomad, it suits you well and this is a nice knot. And don't worry, travel means also to me a lot of accidents, incidents and surprise encounters. 🫣 But the good thing is, you see and learn something new and in the end you adapt to all "deficiencies" and eventually you might even find things more amusing than bothering.
