Wonderful scarf examples and stories. I love Maison but just recently sold mine (the hot pink one). Almost feeling regret.
Ne regrette rien ;)

I must confess that I just self-enabled myself this week. I bought a d'Origny 3 hours ago  It won't arrive in time, but I'll share what it is in my last post for the week.

I always thought these d‘Origny designs to be a bit too „classic“ for me. But now I see your collection in these brilliant bright colors, I rethink my decision! Gorgeous dear @Croisette7! 😍
I know how you feel!

Hello and good morning,
My favourite colour combination for autumn is chocolate and rosé. It's soothing and warm and it's a subdued reminiscence of past summer pleasures. I intended to let go this Cuirs de Desert many times but then just didn't have the heart to do it.View attachment 6219750
Beatiful!!
I also like chocolate and rosé - both for scarves and for consumption 😉

Sorry for the big multiquote. So any lovely silks shared!

Inspired by @LKBNOLA to wear my pink Planifleurs as well.

Yesterday I wore my only other Christine Henry ( and Hugo Grygkar) piece, my Brides de Gala en Fleurs Twilly ( worn with the Pony Pit Stop twilly).

Have a nice week dear all!
Every time you post that Planifleurs, I get major acquisition pangs! It’s gorgeous on you.
Wearing Duo Cosmique today in a twisty little number.

Love this one. This is the CW that almost was, for me. What an idiot I was not to pounce on it when it was available!
FFantastic collage, and so many gorgeous scarves!
Thank you, dear Cookie!
Answering in three parts!
A. Your wonderful collage does great honor to your beautiful collection @Lellabelle. I admire your very creative ties so we can see the actual animals! Eager to see what is in the gift vault for you and anticipating more wonderful mod shots... Like @HermesEchidna, you need to plug that Christine Henry hole-- I curate quite carefully on her designs because there are a lot of florals that seem quite similar (always excepting that amazing Giverny of hers!), but I do love her amazing sense of design and whimsey in pieces like Nuees Imaginaires, the composition of Arbre de la Vie, the lovely Fleurs et Papillons based on tapestries and her folkloric (and iconic) Peuple du Vent. This season H has released her GT Plantes Oficinales which reminds me a bit of the leaves of Arbre de la Vie. Happy hunting!
B. I too spent a long long time finding the right Tourbillons. I knew I wanted the black as soon as I saw the brilliant maple leaves on the one @Nomad has. There are quite a few autumnal ones without the red. In fact I have a small blue gav that fits that description! I always worry with a black base that the design elements look a bit too "decoupage" or slapped on, but this Tourbillons is seamless and quite luminous...
C. Thank you for the Planifleurs comment-- a total impulse buy in store after I could not get it out of my head from the enablement here!
Thank you kindly for the thoughtful and detailed reply, dear @LKBNOLA

The collage is a helpful tool for me to see a slice of the collection together (without unboxing everything). It’s a different perspective, to be sure. It really helps to see what the commonalities, and differences are. I worry my collection is too led by my colour preferences, or even availability of certain designs, but when I view them together I can see there’s good variety and balance of different colours and looks and I'm happy with the ones I've chosen. Looking at them singly is the easiest way to overlook how much the collection has grown!

Thank you for the thoughtful suggestions re Christine Henry. Small scale florals are not my style generally, though there are exceptions to any rule! The pink Planifleurs tugs at my heartstrings, but that's in a large part due to the glorious rose vif, which I have well covered with Grand TLL. I’m rather partial to the vert amande (?) one, too 🤔. Nuees is one I’ve considered, as is Arbres. I'm curious about the pinky-lavender Plantes this season, too.

As for the Tourbillons, I've almost caved on one of the autumnal ones several times. I don’t think there’s a bad CW of the design, but like you I fell hard for those red leaves after seeing it on @Nomad! The little blue gav is a tempting option, but I find the format a bit small for me. The changeant remains an elusive dream!

W  W! What an incredible collage:panic:

Aww, thank you @turfnsurf and thank you for hosting last week! It was lovely to see you here again.
Off topic and at the airport!

Gah! Wonderful! Temari is such an underrated design. Hope your travels were as lovely as your shawl!
I’m wearing a floral scarf with a very different scale today. The heliotrope I grew from seed is finally blooming and smelling delicious!View attachment 6217090
Love your Tulipomanie, and am envious of your green thumb! Love the scent of heliotrope. It’s quite unique; softly elegant and yet sumptuous. What a treat to have it blooming in your garden 💜
Hello and good morning,
Not on theme today with Academia Hippica. LKBNOLA is right, autumn slowly makes its appearance. The temperature dropped by 10°C in one day and it's dark and rainy. So, a subdued scarf for me today. Tried to show one of my favourite animals in the first photo, the crab.View attachment 6217316View attachment 6217317View attachment 6217318
Lovely on you - this was your definitely your CW for this design. It brings out your eyes.
What an amazing collage! These are all dynamite.
Aww thank you. That means a lot coming from our Queen of grail-hunting :hugs:
The only Christiane Vauzelles in my collection, Cols verts, which I got as a birth year scarf.

As opposed to my other vintage scarves, this one was unworn. The seller told me it was framed all those years as part of an exhibit somewhere in the UK. Maybe that is why it is quite stiff, which makes it nice for ruffles and other fancy knots. I like the camo effect.

Perfect styling: colours, necklace, silk and the perfect tie for it as well! I had no idea this would ties so beautifully and look so modern. Just beautiful (and added to my list)!
Last night's baseball game went into extra innings, but unfortunately my lucky Tigre Fleuri scarf was not enough to enable the home team to pull out a victory.

Today's scarf of the day is my Planifleurs in vert amande, which I purchased on a visit to the Hermès boutique in Chicago a couple of years ago. This was special because nearly all my scarf shopping is done online.

Love the cheeky little Tigre and the vert amande Planifleurs was perhaps the most underappreciated CW - it’s a quiet knockout.
I was just replying to @LKBNOLA this week how I wished to get a different format and cw of Peuple du vent in my collection after parting with the blue CSGM. I started looking. All I can say is that I would be a much more successful person if I applied my reactivity and productivity for scarf buying to other aspects of my life 😇 (replying to work e-mails, filing my taxes 😆). So, I found the desired one and thought that was quick, but the seller was even quicker and mailed it to me at lightning speed.

So, I am happy to introduce my scarf mail at the 11th hour of the last day of Henry/Vauzelles week. I've been looking to have more orange in my collec and find this cw quite elegant. Thank you for hosting @turfnsurf, your styling of vintage and classic scarves is very inspiring and you opened my eyes to a whole new range of possibilities (not sure if that is a good thing!). Have a good weekend everyone!

lol - I'm right there with you, though the efforts do pay silken dividends from time to time 😂

Congrats on the new-in. I love your beautiful Tahitian pearl, too!
Like I said before Pierre Marie has a few representatives in my scarf drawer 😉 Today my second CW of Sous l‘Égide de Mars. The first one is the one I am twins with @xincinsin.
View attachment 6219395
Pierre Marie’s deigns are so full of energy and dynamism. Especially so in this CW. It looks fab on you! @Katharina Luise and your smile says everything!
Dame de Coeur a Vous L'Honneur! by Pierre Marie is my scarf of the day.

View attachment 6219479
Love this one. This moody CW is my favourite.
Good evening!!
Thank you @xincinsin for hosting this week and for sharing your rare treasures with us!
Also Thanks to many of you for the appreciation of my Elephant background yesterday 😃

Now home from the ‘safari’ I realize I have no Origny and - imho worse - I only have precious few pierre marie 😱

One is Laboratoire du Temp

Totally off topic a scarf for the confession booth: there was no chance I could not consider the dachshund scarf. I only regret it is a 45x45 and thus really too tiny for me. But as it disappeared from the website I felt the fomo and when it reappeared I gave in.
View attachment 6219516
And here is the reason why I had to have it - my dad’s mighty hunter. On this photo Gimli is sleeping, but he often make the exact same disapproving sideeye as the dogs on the scarf…
View attachment 6219517
Wish you all a good night!
Yay for Laboratoire - it’s a fantastic design! I love looking at all the historical events and the Time Machine apparatus.

Congratulations on the gav - it’s adorable and is definitely tempting me too: DOGS, with a great CW in this issue, too. This one had to be yours! Gimli is such a sweet boy. Kisses and belly-scratches from us! 😘
I can contribute some caramel to the foodie suggestions posted here! 😂 Canyons Étoiles Bandana by Pierre Marie. The scarf is a bit brighter than shown here. Worn to buy nice eatable things on our local farmer‘s market today 😉
View attachment 6219813
This is lovely in the caramel! Great pairing with the Dior earrings, too; they echo the shooting star motifs in a most complimentary way! Hope you found tasty treats at the farmers market.

Hello dear Scarflandia,
I’m in France hiking Camino so I’ll have to get off my phone soon as I can barely stay awake.🫣

Here’s the scarf of yesterday and I got it in Lyon a few days ago. It’s Katie Scott’s Bouquet Final. I couldn’t resist this pink and green combo and I brought this dress on the trip. I’m happy it looks good together.
Here’re few Pierre Marie silks from the archives.
Thank you for sweet comments, dear @LKBNOLA @Maedi @GloWW0rM @Jereni
@turnnsurf
@redheaddem @LitGeek
And zzzz now as it’s a long walk day tomorrow. We’ve been meeting lovely people from all over the world. This is so much fun!

I forgot to mention that on the way to the airport I picked up a scarf mail, a grail I’ve been looking for, for a while ( Thanks @bunnycat for the inspiration, I found it in the same cw 😻❤️🙌) and it’s here in my suitcase waiting to be worn.
