Madame, you look gorgeous!❤️Hello,
Wanted to experiment with 2 scarves of the same colour family and tried this sort of wrap skirt. One scarf tied at the waist, then on top the other one, tied at the opposite side. It is rather safe when standing or dancing, but for sitting...🤣View attachment 6191324View attachment 6191325View attachment 6191326
Wow, thank you so much, Croisette7!Madame, you look gorgeous!❤️
I like this look. I have been thinking of experimenting with a twilly / scarf combination for some time now.I picked up a vintage 27 inch square cotton Thalassa a while back, and tried pairing it today with my new Thalassa cotton twilly. I may need to rethink this, as I feel like I'm wearing a prize ribbon of some sort.

Thalassa scarf and twilly in cotton are my scarves of the day.

That's perfect with the necklace -- wow!
I am so impressed. Our horse was a cross between a Traber and a Fjordpferd 😄 and we rode Western leisure. I hope you’re invited back 😍.He is 16.2 (measured in hands for the non-equestrian folk, or around 168cm at the withers). He has an enormous stallion Friesian neck though, so he seems even bigger. I am 5’6”, and my eyes are right around his butt height. He is also fairly wide (see: Friesian). Every time I dismount, it sure feels like a long way down.
The big trend in dressage right now are enormous warmbloods. Something like an Andalusian is not likely to be above 16.2, but we got folks on 17.2 warmbloods. Huge, huge horses.
I was going to do a post about different horse breeds (since there are many relevant scarves!), but it will have to wait until next year if I am invited back![]()
An entirely fabulous combination! Love the malachite (?) Evie ❤️I will reiterate my thanks to @AnnaE (and her co-host Tjerrie) from my previous post and close out horse week with my SOTE, Chevaux Deschaines, by Octave Marsal which features horses made of chains, straps, buckles and stirrups! This season it has been reissued as a 90 doubleface, but I adore my lovely CSGM and how well it coordinates with my cute Evie 💚. Lagniappe!

Fabulous pictures! Beautiful horse and you.Very cool! We went to visit friend’s ranch in Nebraska last year, and I got to ride the actual ranch horses. We visited some Pony Express sites, too, which inspired me to read a book about Pony Express — and then get the scarf.

Thank you for the week’s introduction and your combinations are inspiring.Good day, my chic and stylish Scarfies, and welcome to a new theme week. Before we start, many thanks to @AnnaE and the magnificent Tjerrie for a most inspired and masterful week leading us through the history of the horse with a rich variety of iconic Hermès scarves. Now we move on to a more style-related theme but we can still show off our wonderful horse scarves. I hope Anna shows a few more of hers!

This will be an effortless week. Why? Because my lovely friends here demonstrate every day, with their carrès, foulards and châles, how to make a beautiful look. Our scarves aren’t merely accessories. Together with clothing, jewelry, bags and shoe choices, we create styles that becomes a personal expression of our individual selves. So let’s continue our style efforts and see what design and color pairings are offered this week!
I don’t often pair two scarves but here are a few examples where I did. I enjoyed these looks very much.

Wow to your fantastic styling! I am in awe.Hello,
I start into this week with pattern on pattern. I have two scarves with black and white patterned animals, this Appaloosa and En Liberté! I find them very useful to combine with black and white clothes and I think I should add more, a tiger perhaps or a jaguar (quetzal)? 🫣 And hurray, this function to insert photos works again!View attachment 6190716View attachment 6190717View attachment 6190718
Your shirt is fantastic with what I see as planets, then the pearl pendant AND the gorgeous earrings. So well put together. Twins on the scarf…your ensemble is amazing.Thank you to @Karenska for hosting this week’s Two Scarves, Contrasting and Complementary Colors Week. Thank you also for the kind words about Jewelry Week. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I often pick contrasting or complementary colors when selecting my outfit and scarf for the day. They give the outfit a bit of extra pop.
My scarf of the day is Sous le Charme d'Orphee. This orange-yellow colorway contrasts nicely with my dark blue top.

I'm wearing a new golden South Sea pearl drop on a strand of vintage Biwa pearls from Kojima Pearl. My earrings are green diamond briolettes set on green gold wires. These were sourced from Stephen Vincent Design.

How absolutely lovely. Michele watches are beautiful.Since I didn’t participate in jewelry week, I’m bringing it here to this week’s theme to show you my newest watch purchase. Timepieces are like jewelry, for sure, and I am very fond of Michele diamond watches. A few years ago I purchased a diamond caber. I just love this design - Roman numerals, diamond-accented finials. I wear it all the time.

But my favorite is the diamond Deco chronograph and I found one about three weeks ago in rose gold. I am in love. Today my SOTD with the same blouse featured is the gorgeous rose/rouge/gold Peuple du Vent plisse, accessorized with a rose gold H ring, a rose extreme Behapi, akoya pearl earrings from Pearl Paradise, two necklaces and of course, the Deco.

The JL DD with the striped blouse is perfection.I have an ambitious idea for a two scarf look but my intentions and my actions did not quite align this morning. In the meantime, I will share some coordinated looks. The first shows a dip-dye paired with a striped button up. I like to have a few dip-dyes in the scarf rotation because the monochrome look allows me to wear a scarf with a pattern without too much busy-ness. I do personally enjoy mixing patterns, too, but sometimes, I feel the outfit needs more color or texture than design. This is a new-to-me Jungle Love paired with a green striped seersucker shirt:

In the second case, my blouse has a pattern that actually could be a scarf in itself, so I felt I needed a solid color/textured piece so I paired it with my 90 Brides de Gala Perforé.

Fabulous scarf and necklace plus a textured sweater. So stylish.
