Wonderful “two scarf” mixing, @CoastalCouture. Enjoy your trip, please stay safe in this heat and hope your pup feels better soon.Posting another archive pic while I am still on the road. Posting tonight from South Bend, Indiana where we have entered the eastern time zone. Here I am wearing Mystère au 24, 90 cm, along with All'Orto Botanico di Palermo CSGM.
Edited to add: I think it was @LKBNOLA who asked if I was avoiding the worst of the heat and still on schedule. No and yes. We hit the worst of it on Friday and Saturday. Today, though still hot was a few degrees cooler and more shade was to be found at the rest areas along the interstate. The dog enjoyed these a lot more. Did have to make an unplanned visit to a veterinarian for our dog but, it was one of our shorter driving days and we were able to keep to schedule. Taking the time to stop and take care of our sweetie pie old pup was so important. He's on antibiotics and will be seen again right after we arrive at our destination later this week.

Congratulations to DS, @HermesEchidna! Your WS is my favorite cw of this beauty and you are definitely on theme. That scarf is perfect with your blouse.Good morning!!
This is just a try-on of a recently arrived grail Wild Singapore which I will wear later this morning for celebration of DS’ final exam and thus graduation. A monday should always hold some hugging and champagne.
By coïncidence I think I am almost on theme with blue-orange/yellow.

Wish you all a lovely day!
Beautiful necklace @Redbirdhermes! I love the color combo of your top and scarf-- I have a scarf or two that I could copy this look with-- thank you for the color inspo!Thank you to @Karenska for hosting this week’s Two Scarves, Contrasting and Complementary Colors Week. Thank you also for the kind words about Jewelry Week. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I often pick contrasting or complementary colors when selecting my outfit and scarf for the day. They give the outfit a bit of extra pop.
My scarf of the day is Sous le Charme d'Orphee. This orange-yellow colorway contrasts nicely with my dark blue top.

I'm wearing a new golden South Sea pearl drop on a strand of vintage Biwa pearls from Kojima Pearl. My earrings are green diamond briolettes set on green gold wires. These were sourced from Stephen Vincent Design.

What a great H pattern on pattern combo, @LKBNOLA - oh my!! The scale and colors of each scarf work so beautifully together. We are twins with the Tulip GT which is just gorgeous.

Thank you for the compliment @Karenska-- I am delighted to be twins on the Tulipomanie, which has brought so much joy to so many of us! I love the combo looks with this blouse but your red plisse, bag and new jewelry are fabulous! Congratulations on the new watch-- it is lovely...Since I didn’t participate in jewelry week, I’m bringing it here to this week’s theme to show you my newest watch purchase. Timepieces are like jewelry, for sure, and I am very fond of Michele diamond watches. A few years ago I purchased a diamond caber. I just love this design - Roman numerals, diamond-accented finials. I wear it all the time.

But my favorite is the diamond Deco chronograph and I found one about three weeks ago in rose gold. I am in love. Today my SOTD with the same blouse featured is the gorgeous rose/rouge/gold Peuple du Vent plisse, accessorized with a rose gold H ring, a rose extreme Behapi, akoya pearl earrings from Pearl Paradise, two necklaces and of course, the Deco.

Wish you all a lovely day!
Thank you! It is such a lovely design. And like you, I love a marinière @Croisette7!Just perfect paired together!❤️
Congratulation on this pink beauty! Pretty on stripes!
Honestly @Jereni, your wonderful, funny and enthusiastic posts are better than a vitamin in the morning! Thank you so very much. I wore the two scarf look back in May-- not sure I would want to try that this week. We are bracing for that punitive heat wave also...Wonderful pattern matching, and I absolutely love the green of that bag! Glorious.
Oh wow they do look perfect together! I never would have thought. And I’m jealous you had an evening in a place where it was cool enough for two scarves together!
Stunning, congrats! That’s a scarf that just lights up the room. The border is so perfect with the stripes of your top!
You look amazing. I am your twin on the Mystere, as you know, but you are making that Orto a hard sell @CoastalCouture. I am sorry to hear the pup was under the weather but it sounds like all is well and I hope the rest of the trip into the Eastern time zone is uneventful!Posting another archive pic while I am still on the road. Inspiring, @Redbirdhermes! I don’t have any H cotton scarves but on humid days like this, they must be easier to wear than silk.I picked up a vintage 27 inch square cotton Thalassa a while back, and tried pairing it today with my new Thalassa cotton twilly. I may need to rethink this, as I feel like I'm wearing a prize ribbon of some sort.

Thalassa scarf and twilly in cotton are my scarves of the day.

Oh, congratulations @Jereni! I am your twin and it took me ages to find this cw-- I had two placeholders before this elusive beauty finally came my way! It ticks all your boxes colorwise and looks beautiful on you. Every time I wear this, I invent a new story in my mind for what has happened in the house at the end of the world...
It’s beautiful. I started watching for it after seeing it on @laurenad. I think @Nomad is also our twin. It is rare and we are lucky!!! I know you love teal and this is luminous!Oh I did not realize you had this one!!! Or maybe I did and forgot. Very excited to be twins. This is one I was beginning to think would never be mine as I just never see it for sale.
En Liberté! is always a winner, and this is especially nice coordinated, Jereni.😍
Both are so elegant on you! Your chaine patternd blouse could be mine!❤️I have an ambitious idea for a two scarf look but my intentions and my actions did not quite align this morning. In the meantime, I will share some coordinated looks. The first shows a dip-dye paired with a striped button up. I like to have a few dip-dyes in the scarf rotation because the monochrome look allows me to wear a scarf with a pattern without too much busy-ness. I do personally enjoy mixing patterns, too, but sometimes, I feel the outfit needs more color or texture than design. This is a new-to-me Jungle Love paired with a green striped seersucker shirt:

In the second case, my blouse has a pattern that actually could be a scarf in itself, so I felt I needed a solid color/textured piece so I paired it with my 90 Brides de Gala Perforé.
