Very cool! We went to visit friend’s ranch in Nebraska last year, and I got to ride the actual ranch horses. We visited some Pony Express sites, too, which inspired me to read a book about Pony Express — and then get the scarf.No scarf for me today but, I can share a photo of a Pony Express historic marker I took yesterday at a rest stop in Nebraska. On a previous trip I visited a small Pony Express station museum in Gothenburg, Nebraska.

I've only a handful of twillies and one maxi Colliers de Chiens. While I try to get my bearings, I thought I'd share this En Liberte I snapped a pic of a few weeks ago, to show off my newest scarf ring.
I believe this is the only Hermés item that shows the border collie breed on it. Can you make him out, crouched to pounce, under my dangling earring?

Oh and here is my BC, Perk. He's a total goober that would do absolutely anything for a squeaky ball or a bowl of whipped cream, including quantum physics. As smart as he is, he cannot be trusted around scarves, since he doesn't always think before he acts.

Before we start, many thanks to @AnnaE and the magnificent Tjerrie for a most inspired and masterful week leading us through the history of the horse with a rich variety of iconic Hermès scarves. Now we move on to a more style-related theme but we can still show off our wonderful horse scarves. I hope Anna shows a few more of hers!

I start into this week with pattern on pattern. I have two scarves with black and white patterned animals, this Appaloosa and En Liberté! I find them very useful to combine with black and white clothes and I think I should add more, a tiger perhaps or a jaguar (quetzal)? 🫣 And hurray, this function to insert photos works again!
