@Jereni love this on you! The colours couldn't be any more perfect.

@Agrume, this is a fabulous design. I can see why you were drawn to it!

@EtsyBoss this green rules! Nothing shy about it yet, at the same time, it very nicely. shares with the other colours.

@Teaforparrots you need to get that phone problem fixed STAT! I, and others, count on your daily pics! A green Chorus Stellarum is very nice but, I need to know what your wore it with, how you styled it and how your garden is coming along. :flowers:

Very pretty styled on the lilac-- unexpected but quite lovely @darkstar66. I have two cws of this-- a design I was mad to get and yet I rarely reach for either... you are giving me inspiration!

The hat is grand @Lellabelle-- thank you. It is even going along for Jazz Fest. My other hats will have their collective noses out of joint that there's a new Hat Sheriff in town... I think the balayage looks beautiful and I am glad to know my eyes were not deceiving me! Fickle weather here too this month.

Oh, gosh, I wish I could wear your signature bib knot to such a lovely effect @Jereni. I think I just too short to really carry off the proportion on a 90-- maybe I will use it more for my 70s! beautiful UTW on you!

 In my house the trade went in the other direction! I "inherited" DH's seldom worn Nothing But A Dreamer. He will never claw that back... These are lovely colors @Agrume.

Beautiful @EtsyBoss and your garden pnas sound wonderful, colorful and delicious! I wish I could have black-eyed susans-- they are so comforting and fun somehow , but here the rabbits get them all in double-quick time...and thank you, I can see we would have a lot of fun dinners if we lived in puppy play-date distance! (and the Mors is pretty in necklace ties!)

Only on a scarf, never on a horse dear @AnnaE!!!!
Thank you both for your nice comments! How lovely to have met! :flowers:

Well, my actual SOTD was worn by request of a lovely scarfie I met for tea today! We never stopped talking, had a show and share of scarves and some mutual enablement may just have transpired over the scones and clotted cream...

Couldn't figure out how @EtsyBoss artfully gets her bags in her mod shots, so I resorted to a mirror selfie:

And the post-tea meet-up photo!
View attachment 6162115
And I am here to attest that @CoastalCouture's sewing and design skills are absolutely amazing. Her dress was beautiful and she was double-scarved! We shared a lot of geography, years, life stories, silk journeys and barely scratched the surface...
Very cool, the two of you!

For @Lellabelle and thanks to @darkstar66 for the inspiration, I gave my green Tigre Royal a go with a neutral oatmeal background. I like it!

Puppers came by to see what I was doing and held still long enough for a photo, such a good girl. Health-wise she is hanging in there and doing well. Our focus can thankfully now be more on continuing good canine behavior and house, yard, and walk rules. There's so much for her to learn as we make up for lost time.

* Light and color are fascinating. No editing to make my sweater look two different colors. Left is natural light coming in through a window, right is indoor lighting.
Beautiful! I love it on you with the oatmeal! You’ve styled it perfectly. Elegant, but also casual.

And I'm so glad to hear that the sweet pup is doing well 💛

Thank you so much, Lellabelle! 🤗 I will try it today.

Hello and good morning,
Okay, let's go yellow! I wear Carpe Diem today, perhaps not the very best choice for me atm. ;)View attachment 6162307
You tried the knot! 👍

That was a clever adaptation to use the chain d’ancre. It gives the pleats more room so they make a softer ruffle.

It was a summer-like day yesterday. I wanted to wear a lot of colors and played with the scarf to knot it not too close to my neck.

First like this to show the green and yellow

And then a necklace, my favorite way to wear a scarf when it's hot

You have such a knack for isolating a part of the design to make it a feature @FA73. You’ve captured the shell here and made it look like an accent to the scarf - a shell ‘slider’ on your scarf in the longer look, and the central motif on the necklace tie.

I remember a previous post where you did something similar with Pytheas? You managed to capture the compass rose, I think it was, and transform the look of the knot. Chapeau! :yw:

My brain is still contemplating that marvellous smocking on your shirt too. The form resembles hydrangeas.

@EtsyBoss I love how the green Tigre Royal sits against the calm, neutral of your sweater and yes, amazing what light can do to colour. So happy to have a peek at your pupper! Look at the size of her and amazing eyes too! It's so sweet how she looks right at the camera.

Green ... I am sorta kinda friends with green. My problem is green does not always love me back  Some of my vintage scarves are in this bright shade of viridian green. It doesn't 100% suit me but I can get by in it. Maybe I should try a retro green eye shadow or green lipstick a la Rihanna in 2012!

Mid-greens are ok for me in small doses.

And my latest green scarf? Precious Paradise - the green cw was the only one I liked, and my home H didn't get it till this month.
View attachment 6162187

@xincinsin Green is certainly well represented in your collection, you are way ahead of me and I can kinda, sorta wear green. I think one or two K's or B's in matching greens would be just the thing to increase wearing options. Nothing against green lipstick and eyeshadow though!

Good morning!
I clearly have not understood mechanics of rainbows, as this pink piece became my sotd by means of T.o.p. (Top of pile) positioning. But there is some green and yellow in there.

Have a wonderful day!

@HermesEchidna Your T.o.P. scarf looks so bright and cheerful, an excellent choice for revealing the subtleties of the rainbow. I would do the same.

@darkstar66 this is a beautiful scarf and I love how you have tied it. You accepted the challenge very nicely!

In the words of lovable Kermit the frog,
It's Not Easy Being Green – SHIPPINGInsight.webp
And I experienced a variation of that this morning when I tried to select which Green to post today. So I am making my Green life easier by opting for a this or that and y'all can decide!
Precious Paradise was on deck for the week-- first up is the "white cw" but gosh, there's a whole lot of
Green going on! Plus,
our fearless scarf mistress posted her preferred (but not yet obtained) PP cw-- the "khaki" so I thought of that...BUT, there is also Le Livre d'Esope, which I am smitten by and has swoony greens patches too...

But I was having some FOMO over missing all of @Lellabelle's power week so I finally decided on the vert anthracite of Complication Equestre, shown in two ties on a knit jacket/sweater with buttons and yes, shoulder "pads"...can't decide but I think the longer tie is more "power" than the collar one?

Thank you so much @Lellabelle. I am only learning from the best and you are one of them. Your set of advice from a couple of years ago have been my bible and I take them to heart (here, rules #5 (play with texture) and #6 (up your knot game) ;))

She's so cute @EtsyBoss! Love her soulful eyes... and now dragging my own eyes from pup's sweet face to your pretty netutral styling. Amazing what the changes of light do-- I find that here as well especially in the North facing windows...
A fun story with a happy ending. Coincidentally, I call our puppy little pretzel when she twists herself into a circle.
Thank you for your kind words and happy triplet with you.
So fun to watch their antics @Maedi!

Well, I will share a green lipstick photo. Somehow my DD was able to help me rise to a challenge from @Teaforparrots to match my lipstick to my garden background last summer:

We are twins on the Mars and I posted the PP for you today! I do love the other ones you have shown @xincinsin but I share your "frenemy" status with green. I did embrace it wholeheartedly; in the last few seasons, it has been a "color crush" but some of the earlier H ghreens were not kind to me. But as you say, vintage collectors cannot always be choosy on cws, right? I think these are all splendid on you!
Good morning!

I know that strategy! This is Correspondances, correct @ HermesEchidna? May I kindly request titles 🙏 ? They are especially helpful in ties like this where design elements are hidden and I am a notorious title nerd... 🙇‍♀️

I do love yellow with blue-grey @darkstar66. I hope you feel ready to carpe the diem soon...

Gorgeous! I love the way you are able to capture and place key design elements in your necklace ties @FA73. I too favor this approach (and braids!) for hit weather scarf wearing...
Here is my contribution for yellow - this d’Orphee is prob the yellowest scarf I own. And ironically this one may be eclipsing the rust and green one as my favorite of this design… the contrasts are just so nice and the yellow and blue seems so fitting for the design’s celestial vibe.

And the jewelry stack for today…

View attachment 6162409
Love scarf and stack here @Jereni! These colors do suit the design so well and they brighten your outfit too!
Yellow skies fill this colorway.

Space Derby is my scarf of the day.

View attachment 6162441
This is a yellow which is not to be trifled with @Redbirdhermes! Bold, audacious and making its own demands...
