Hello and good morning,
Today is green, no? One of my very few green scarves is this one, Tigre Royal. Not styled elegantly with neutrals as I do usually but with a violet cashmere cardigan to keep me warm. And I show the bold side, exceptionally. Still quite worn-out and tired, I'm afraid.View attachment 6161773
Twins with you! I struggle to style this one because I'm just not sure what to pair it with colorwise. I'll try it out with a neutral and see how that goes. Thank you for your insight. Also I hope you find rest and recovery. It's good to take breaks.

Seven Days for Seven Colors! My Thalassa scarf had some pretty persuasive pops of Yellow and I've posted Blue. I am going to call my SOYE for Red(ish) on account of the line drawing on the marron glacé background, amped up my my coral sweater. We had some lovely friends and their two dogs over for a travel catch-up dinner (they have recently returned from a wine tour in France). So we had four adults and four "doodle" variations... madness. But fun! My scarf tie looked pretty for a photo and it became dog-and-kitchen* friendly! I tied the tails behind my neck for some silk protection (alas no knot shot)! Here's my updated ROYBGIV score...

*I was remembering your Cautionary Tale of the Exploding Chicken @Teaforparrots!
That sounds lie the most lovely and best kind of chaos @LKBNOLA. I love any party where the human - canine ratio is so well balanced. I really love the imagery of you in your kitchen cleverly knotting your beautiful scarf to preserve it form all the craziness. Sisters with you on this fab design. I have a mors ring I haven't fully played around with yet. I like the necklace aspect of your knot action!

Managing to hit green today with Alice Shirley’s Under the Waves. My most green scarf overall, and attempting to feature the green turtle.

This is absolutely stunning on you @Jereni! I love the way you so consistently and marvelously use teal in your wardrobe. I do not know why TEAL was left out of the ROYGBIV rainbow but you are putting the T in it for sure! Roy G Tiv!

Putting the G in the ROYGBIV rainbow with this Flagship. The little seed action on this corner reminds me to go water my little sprouts. They're coming up green and just about ready to join the 'big girl' perennial plants in the rest of my garden.

This year I'm growing cosmos, zinnias, black-eyed susans, poppies, coneflower, and the usual suspects like basil, tomato, jalapeno, tomatillo, arugula. They grow like crazy here. I want to try growing turnips but I think we're going to have hot weather too soon for them to thrive.

I hope the stress is abating for you (but don't we think here the solution to stress is to buy a scarf?)
 I shall remember this piece of advice! Coincidentally, my last purchase from the women's scarf department was green. I'll show it in a while. I'm late with green - just woke up after a 12-hour day yesterday and heading back to office now to start work at 6am.
My phone's screen died and I can't take any photos so I just want to mention that I'm wearing my green Chorus Stellarum 70 😆
Ack! My sympathies, @Teaforparrots. Hard to believe mobile phones are a comparatively recent invention. They are so essential to life now.

Managed to capture a piece of very welcome blue sky over my shoulder!
Twins on this one! I love the stripes!

So pretty!
Good morning!
Finally back from the remote retreat and hitting work in a few minutes. Sigh.
Dont know where in the rainbow theme we are, but I do know that brown is not a part of it. Nevertheless sotd is Parade et Fanfare - there are some blue and orange in there as well.

Wish you all a sunny day!
Love the scarf and love the ring!

Amazing! I love this against the brilliant blue blazer, it really sets off the muted colorway perfectly.

This is beautifully tied! This cw looks great on you. I tried it one but it didn’t do much for me sadly. Love the shade of green tho.

Superb knot and styling! Just perfect. Love the texture of your sweater.

As we come to the middle of the week, we back into the middle initial of dear Mr. Roy G. Biv, our rainbow memory aid man. Today's scarf nicely ties in yesterday's blues, and anticipates tomorrow's yellow, but is, oh, so green.

How radiant! Just expertly contrasted with the blue shirt.

Ah yes, this is such a classic green shade. Looks great on you. Your garden is sounding epic!

@Jereni love this on you! The colours couldn't be any more perfect.

SOYD was my very first H scarf (now usually worn by Mr Agrume).

@Agrume, this is a fabulous design. I can see why you were drawn to it!

@EtsyBoss this green rules! Nothing shy about it yet, at the same time, it very nicely. shares with the other colours.

My phone's screen died and I can't take any photos so I just want to mention that I'm wearing my green Chorus Stellarum 70 😆

@Teaforparrots you need to get that phone problem fixed STAT! I, and others, count on your daily pics! A green Chorus Stellarum is very nice but, I need to know what your wore it with, how you styled it and how your garden is coming along. :flowers:

Gorgeous, Lellabelle, and what an interesting tie! Please tell me more about it. I'm really glad I have this cw, it is so special and really looks best on neutrals.
It was a happy - if fussy - accidental knot discovery when I was trying to find different ways to style it. I mostly remember how I did it, but I’d have to try and replicate it to be sure!

As I recall, it was something like this:
1. Fold in half on the diagonal (making a big triangle)
2. Pleat the long side of the triangle (you’ll need to keep a hold of the pleats for the next part. You could use a hair tie if you wanted to make it easier on yourself!)
3. Pass the folded scarf behind your neck and use the free corner to tie a small knot around the pleated part to secure it (this is the bit that was fiddly).
4. Fan out the pleats. (They tend to settle in an arc, with the longer ones underneath)

It’s kind of like a modified Edot, with MORE pleats! It’s definitely close to the neck, but you could use a hair tie to secure it and gain a little more silk to work with by skipping the knot entirely (just tick the remaining corner through the tie).

Hope that makes sense.

Agree that this one shines on neutrals!

@darkstar66 is spot on, I think. I like it best on white and ivory, but it’s great on cream, soft grey, oatmeal, camel, pale blue and turquoise. It’s super with denim, too!

It’s a great pop of colour against pink (from pale pink through to deep rose), as well as on black (it leans formal on a black dress or blazer). It’s a louder, but complimentary, contrast with berry tones, including purple.

Do share anything you try and like - I get such great inspiration from the pictures here

Yes! I think I must adopt this as a new house rule - no more people than there are dogs 🤣

And I just know you are rocking it! Love this one - it packs such an impact!

Thank you twin! You may be our red queen, but you have been looking mighty regal in your green and all white looks this week. Stunning, as always.

On my way out the door to meet a friend for tea. For the record, I'm wearing a dress! because I'm fancy like that. Once again my SOTD is the very hard working Brandebourgs Fleuris:

Fabulous! Hope your tea was fancy too - I am envisioning little cakes and tiny sandwiches, yum!

The BFleuris is so great tied.

Very pretty styled on the lilac-- unexpected but quite lovely @darkstar66. I have two cws of this-- a design I was mad to get and yet I rarely reach for either... you are giving me inspiration!
Thank you, dear @LKBNOLA ! Love the hat and bag - both seem perfect for a sunny vacation. The hat in particular seems very well considered ;)

Yes, I’m a little lighter at the moment as I just got my balayage refreshed a month or two ago. My hair is naturally quite dark, but lightens very quickly in the sun, so I give it a little helping hand in advance of the summer!

We’re entering that time of year where it’s bright and sunny one moment, and hailing the next! Happy to enjoy the clear skies while we have them 😂
The hat is grand @Lellabelle-- thank you. It is even going along for Jazz Fest. My other hats will have their collective noses out of joint that there's a new Hat Sheriff in town... I think the balayage looks beautiful and I am glad to know my eyes were not deceiving me! Fickle weather here too this month.

Oh, gosh, I wish I could wear your signature bib knot to such a lovely effect @Jereni. I think I just too short to really carry off the proportion on a 90-- maybe I will use it more for my 70s! beautiful UTW on you!

Beautiful @EtsyBoss and your garden pnas sound wonderful, colorful and delicious! I wish I could have black-eyed susans-- they are so comforting and fun somehow , but here the rabbits get them all in double-quick time...and thank you, I can see we would have a lot of fun dinners if we lived in puppy play-date distance! (and the Mors is pretty in necklace ties!)
Very elegant! Although that twisted Mors still freaks me out a little :)
Only on a scarf, never on a horse dear @AnnaE!!!!
