Precisely what I thought !Your Col Verts is a marvelous color.
Adorable!!!!!My whole household got into the Tigre Royale act today!!! I have a total of 6 Tigres Royale! Two doubleface (totals 4) plus a bandana and today's fun piece: Tigre Royale Pointu. This was an early gift to me and I confess I did not know quite what to make of it until I joined TPF and saw Scarf Possibilities opening up like the yellow brick road in the Land of Oz...

Ahhh, thnx @darkstar66Hello,
So nice to see you on this tread, @turfnsurf , I thought you were "exclusively" authenticating. 😀 And thank you for hosting this week. I love Christine Henry's designs, even if her rather small motifs look better on me in the 140s. My first one from her was Piqué Fleuri de Provence, a very nice summer shawl.View attachment 6216317

I’m a huge fan of pattern mixing and you’re clearly an expert - Beautifully pairedHappy Monday!
I won't have much to contribute this week but I am looking forward to seeing everyone's treasures, particularly Christiane Vauzelles, a designer I do not know much about.
As for Christine Henry, a few scarves came and went in my collection and I've only kept one, which I love and wear quite often, particularly in the summer, Fleurs de Giverny. Another pattern on pattern day.

I just love those happy styling accidents… You look gorgeous (spending your newfound extra time) in your garden!I dressed up for a two-hour work meeting that got canceled. Should I pretend to be sad? 😂 I realized that the colors of my bracelet went pretty well with the colors of my scarf.View attachment 6216407View attachment 6216408
Yay! So glad they wonThe home team won yesterday's baseball game, so my plan to hide the opponent's tiger mascot on my Tigre Royal Fleuri apparently worked. Meanwhile, little GS looked up from playing his tablet at the game just long enough for me to snap this picture.

Hahaha you are too funnyIf you can believe it, the day the tyger 70 colors were known to us in June, I found the CSGM that day. It was so odd to not have to hunt for one for forever.
I decided on paddock last week. This Japanese seller was so fast. So fast that I went back on the buy another from them since I knew I’d get it before the 29th but they put store on vacation ha. Maybe the universe is telling me no more 90’s either.
@Maedi, in the US we were able to purchase an item below $800 value internationally, like from Europe and Japan I know (not sure if all countries), and not have to pay a duty tax. It was our personal purchase shipping exemption. If we bought a more expensive item like a CSGM from Europe then we would have to pay a tax on it. To me the duty is so high that it’s not worth purchasing the item at all imo.
Example- in early summer, I purchased some leather from England when the store had a sale. I made sure I was under $800. But sadly the company put the original price on the duty shipping form and I received a duty bill that was hundreds of dollars. I planned to deny the delivery and the items would have been shipped back to company. But the company ended up paying the duty for me which I thought was incredibly good customer service.
On the 29th of this month that personal purchase exemption is going away 😥. So any purchase we make will have a bill attached now. Which for me means no more eBay scarf shopping 😆 . Making my paddock all the more special haha.
I am off theme. With the new season 140 paddock coming out and not needing another cashmere and thinking none of the colorways will work enough to purchase at retail anyway, I decided to hunt for my 90. With the $800 international purchase exemption going away on the 29th I decided to do one last international purchase for the foreseeable future. And chose this bright pink colorful Paddock to be my last one. It has a delicious gray hem that takes it over the top to 10/10 for me. Sotd

Not my sotd but on theme. Similar story as paddock. I had a feeling none of the new Tyger tyger 70 colorways would work on me, and was eventually proven correct in trying 3 cw’s. Very early in new season when we simply saw the colorways coming out I decided to get a CSGM with the beautiful sky instead. I needed to scratch that Tyger tyger itch that was coming from this season and didn’t want to get one just because it was new and a tyger, plus knowing it wouldn’t have been ideal colors on me.
I surprisingly (didn’t expect to find one so quick) found this one which I am so so happy to have in collection.

Beautiful pieces LKBNOLA, and I especially love the soft and soothing fall colours of the Orphee. It almost makes me wanting for autumn 😍Well, as I knew would happen, I ran out of week before being able to do even a hint of justice to these "A" designers and the wonderful pieces I have collected over the years. With a huge thank you to @Jereni for hosting this week, and to all of you for sharing your treasures and your stories about those treasures, I will close with recent designs by Alice Shirley:
Last week I wore Cheval Sirene on the bright blue and pink side. Oh, this scarf is a perfect match with Rose Zinzolin lipstick, which alas, alas! Hermès has retired. I even scoured the websites of Bloomingdale's and Saks to secure a few additional tubes ... as if preparing for a lipstick apocalypse...

That is very striking and perfect on your white top!Christiane Vauzelles designed dozens of scarves for Hermès from the 1960’s into the 1990’s yet rarely signed her name.
Her style was equally elusive; ranging anywhere from bold flowers to historical objects to food- all beautifully executed.
Today I’m wearing her striking Rosarie

Both are lovely, and I think they both look marvelous on you!Good evening! I just went through the ancient registration tome of the collection and concluded I do not have a C.Henry to contribute. A matter which should be fixed!!
But there are a couple of Vauzelles - but why are they almost all a little bit pale? 🤔
Well. My second ever Hermes was one I found in my mothers belongings after she passed away. An adorable, light pink and peach and very feminine Fleur de lotus. I do not think I can ever do it justice, but it eventually send me down the orange box road.

Ohmygoodness - what a lovely thing to say! Thank you so much! This is so stunning 😍
Such wonderful styling! I am taking notes ☺️
Oh wow the Etudes pour in Iris is just gorgeous on you, those colours are beautiful 😍 I also love how you tied the CS Col Vert. Would you mind sharing how you did it?
I am so sorry about the end of this exemption. We are in the same boat in the EU. Duties are so high it is not worth buying from outside the EU… it really limits possibilities…
Oh my what a gorgeous pink 💕 so vibrant! It really makes the design stand out and it is absolutely radiant on you 😍
I feel the same about the Tyger cws this season. That CSGM is brilliant, congratulations on such a grail find!
You have such an epic collection and I admire the casual way you wear your scarves dear Helena. I am taking notes too 😍
This is such a beautiful design and the colours are so flattering 🥰
You are always so radiant Cookie, and pink really makes you glow ☺️
Beautiful pieces LKBNOLA, and I especially love the soft and soothing fall colours of the Orphee. It almost makes me wanting for autumn 😍
Your grandchildren are so adorable. So cute in grandmothers shawls too. My youngest daughter loves to dress up in my shawls too. She makes dresses and capes from them.

Fabulous in these cool hues. Have fun with the sweet mini menace.Oh it is so absolutely delightful to see you back in Scarflandia @turfnsurf! You have been much missed here, and your beautiful collection, too. Thank you for taking up the baton on the two "C" designers...I am excited to share the ones I have. I think I will work backwards and share my most recent Christine Henry: last season's Brides de Gala en Fleur. Of course she shares the credit with Monsieur Grygkar but the florals-- which I think are a specialty of hers?-- are lovely.
A recent archive post because I am today in the company of a one year old (aka the Mini Menace) and my scarves cower in terror until he is down for the count!

C.Henry’s Nuées Imaginares is ideal for this purpose. It features whimsical and fantastic beasts floating on dreamy stylized clouds.
