@FA73 such a gorgeous Under the Waves! There wasn’t a bad cw of this design, in truth.

@Redbirdhermes amazing duo of Siestes! I covet that purple one harrrrd.

@LKBNOLA that blue and yellow Sieste is so wonderfully cheerful! Love your styling of it. And oh my word, I had yet to see a cw of PdS that I felt I needed but yours might be the one. Do you have a flat photo? I am rmmensely loving your 140 Sieste worn as a top!!! I haven’t lost enough weight to wear a 90 as a top but this might work. Is there a name for the knot/method that I could search for?

@Teaforparrots I am hella diggin that color combo too! I’m such a sucker for rich jewel tone combos, even tho sometimes I can’t wear them.

@Nomad that purple Tyger Tyger always takes my breath away. For awhile that was the one I stalked. Gorgeous on you.

@Jacq1 wonderful pattern matching with that PeF!

@Helena7 such an epic array of Alice’s and Aline’s! I love the colors you choose. And that green pendant is baller.

@darkstar66 I love that cw of Tyger! I’d prob get it if I could ever find it.
Thank you!
Hello again, please excuse me for writing a second time, but I will not post tomorrow and I cannot let an Alice week go by without showing my 100% absolute top grail treasure: JAGUAR QUETZAL of course. It will be my SOTM if the heat lets me. Thank you so much, Jereni, for hosting meticulously and with great energy this captivating week full of iconic designs. :hugs:View attachment 6215570View attachment 6215571View attachment 6215572
Love the look with your sequin jacket!
Again, I don’t know where my reply went on my previous post but this looks so cute with your dress, love the pattern mixing!
Thank you - I am slowly getting more adventurous in regards to pattern mixing.
Amazing colours on you @darkstar66 and @Croisette7. I love hearing stories about people’s collecting journeys. It’s fascinating.

Wow. Green. I don’t know what else to say.

Gorgeous! Two incredible designs.

They’re both spectacular.

Superb with your lemon yellow top!

I don’t know this spelling game but your husband has definitely earned a thumbs up from this community on this word. Thank you for indulging us with scarves and flowers combo.

Amazing styling. You look wonderful in each of these outfits. The green and blue scarf combination is exquisite!

That’s a brilliant idea and I’ve been looking at the 90 for myself well as the colours work better for me. I love this pink with your lipgloss.

I don’t know about too many cashmere shawls. Is that possible?! This Tyger Tyger is just wonderful. That purple is stunning. I wouldn’t mind one (or three) myself. Coming from someone who probably has too many cashmere shawls. However, I don’t have a single Alice Shirley CSGM so that’s how I’m skirting around that one.

I love the bold prints together. I hope you enjoyed the museum exhibit.

Mmm, wow. I don’t know which one to even look at. I’m just scrolling up and down, up and down…

Thank you for making me laugh - that was much needed today. I’m still chuckling.

So beautiful @darkstar66. Lovely styling too.
Thank you and yes, it was a small but interactive fun exhibit 😊

Good morning!

I only have one scarf on theme and I am not sure if I will be able to wear it this week, since it is CS and we will reach up to 30C this week.

Your Col Verts is a marvelous color and - zomg - that moussie is so fab!
Hello,
So nice to see you on this tread, @turfnsurf , I thought you were "exclusively" authenticating. 😀 And thank you for hosting this week. I love Christine Henry's designs, even if her rather small motifs look better on me in the 140s. My first one from her was Piqué Fleuri de Provence, a very nice summer shawl.View attachment 6216317
Lovely - I am a big fan of CH's designs - this is one I still covet!

My whole household got into the Tigre Royale act today!!! I have a total of 6 Tigres Royale! Two doubleface (totals 4) plus a bandana and today's fun piece: Tigre Royale Pointu. This was an early gift to me and I confess I did not know quite what to make of it until I joined TPF and saw Scarf Possibilities opening up like the yellow brick road in the Land of Oz...

This looks soooooo beautiful with your doubleface wool jacket @cascade2021!
Since today is gorgeously sunny, I wanted to share my favorite way to wear a 90cm this summer… a breezy halter top!
View attachment 6216112

I’ve basically tied it thus:
View attachment 6216107
*Though I folded the bottom a bit and tucked some of the extra volume into a cummerbund of sorts for a more sleek look

C.Henry’s Nuées Imaginares is ideal for this purpose. It features whimsical and fantastic beasts floating on dreamy stylized clouds.

@LKBNOLA and am grateful to be here :hugs:
You look beautiful and strong and all around fabulous @turfnsurf! And thank you for sharing the knotting card how to -- they are so useful! Nuees is one of my favorite Henry designs and it looks marvelous as a top. Thank you also for the BdG endorsement!
The more I see you wear the blue Tyger Tyger, the more I feel I need to try this cw on. I really like the dusky blue. The other looks are wonderful, too.
Awe thanks. And your Tyger 70 picture is making it hard to resist
Beautiful Alices! Thank you for sharing them. I love you in blue scarves, you wear them so well.
Oh myyyyy - this is beautiful!
(Also giggles at the ‘mini menace’ :giggle:)
Thank you @GloWW0rM, @Nomad, @Jereni and @Cookiefiend for the nice comments and, not to enable but there's room on that Tyger 70 bandwagon for a lot of scarfies!!!
Starting the week with Christine Vauzelles - I only have 3!

I agree with you @darkstar66-- on the scale of the Henry designs. I find my favorite 90s are the ones with some "breathing room" around the tiny intricate design and I do love the 140 size for the all over florals she does so exquisitely. This is a vibrant beauty!

I am going to squeeze in two more Aline Honoré designs before our week ends and maybe a Shirley or two after tomorrow evening...DH and I are meeting friends for dinner and my SOTE is Sieste au Paradis 140 plume silk worn as a top. Inspired by @Redbirdhermes today and by @cascade2021, whose love of the format made me reach for mine...
View attachment 6215293
And several scarfies have shown the beautiful Tulipomanie GT as well as the gorgeous 90 and they have inspired me to share a recent outfit with my bright blue Tulipomanie 90...
View attachment 6215294
Beautiful! I particularly appreciate the Tulipomanie on the jade green - such a striking and polished pairing.
Not my sotd but on theme. Similar story as paddock. I had a feeling none of the new Tyger tyger 70 colorways would work on me, and was eventually proven correct in trying 3 cw’s. Very early in new season when we simply saw the colorways coming out I decided to get a CSGM with the beautiful sky instead. I needed to scratch that Tyger tyger itch that was coming from this season and didn’t want to get one just because it was new and a tyger, plus knowing it wouldn’t have been ideal colors on me.
I surprisingly (didn’t expect to find one so quick) found this one which I am so so happy to have in collection.

I’m totally with you on the muted CWs for the 70s. I’m enjoying them enormously on others, but they are very dulling on me. I love your idea of a ‘pre-CCP’ on these and looking for prior release instead of trying to force a fit because of how much we love the design. These are too pretty to languish in a drawer if they’re not quite right, and too expensive to buy something that doesn’t quite work on my skin tone and colouring.

It’s such a gorgeous design and this is a fab CW on you - what an amazing find! I've been looking for a prune one, but they so rarely show up, and less frequently still at an affordable price. Have to be patient and one will come at some point, I’m sure!

Two scarf day, this evening Au Fil du Carré and earlier at my walk, Retour a la Nature helped against the sun and the wind.

I see I missed Aline and Alice week so here are few from the archives. I love how easy that is 🤔🤣
DuJA, Tyger Tyger, Into the Canadian Wild, Au Cœur de la Vie, Sieste au Paradis, Under the Waves.
Thanks Jereni, for hosting

Just wow, @Helena7 - this is a whole capsule collection of grails! That purple ITCW is stunning, as is the lavender garden of DuJA 💜. The Tyger and JQ are amazing, and those Siestes are fab on you! I think I’d be pretty content if this was my whole collection!
I have to end the week with my most precious Alice
I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

The SE 😍 Gorgeous - what a treasure!

Well, as I knew would happen, I ran out of week before being able to do even a hint of justice to these "A" designers and the wonderful pieces I have collected over the years. With a huge thank you to @Jereni for hosting this week, and to all of you for sharing your treasures and your stories about those treasures, I will close with recent designs by Alice Shirley:
Last week I wore Cheval Sirene on the bright blue and pink side. Oh, this scarf is a perfect match with Rose Zinzolin lipstick, which alas, alas! Hermès has retired. I even scoured the websites of Bloomingdale's and Saks to secure a few additional tubes ... as if preparing for a lipstick apocalypse...

View attachment 6215827
And my SOTD, my newest Alice Shirley, the charming little Tyger Tyger 70! This was a surprise purchase for me but once I saw this cw, I knew I had to have it. It goes with everything and will make a great little travel companion, too.

Thank you again everyone for a wonderful A+ week full of A+ designs by Scarflandia's three favorite A's-- I just cannot get enough of this week and wish I had been able to show more of my own A+ treasures!
Beautiful, dear ‘Nola! You've worked some similar magic to Cookie, and managed to hide all the less interesting bits of Cheval Sirene. This is a great knot for it.

The new Tyger is lovely on you. I actually think the CW you’ve chosen may be the prettiest of all the new releases.

Looooongtime my scarfie sisters!!
:heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart:

I’m thrilled to be back and sharing Creations by Christiane Vauzelles and Christine Henry this week.

To start off - Christine Henry’s sources of inspiration are mainly tales and legends from around the world, mythology and the symbolism related to the representation of animals and plants in different civilizations, old or new.

A perfect example of this is beloved Peuple du Vent (People of the Wind).
View attachment 6215910

In homage to the wandering tribes of Europe (Tziganes, Gypsies and Bohemians) it displays nature and recounts myth and their magical virtues - communicating with animals, palm reading, etc. Surrounded by gypsy dancers, a tree of life welcomes musicians, tightrope walkers and animals.

Some delightful details:

Great to see you back, @turfnsurf and thank you for hosting this week!

Thanks to @Jereni too for hosting a great week of covetable designs last week. Am sorry I missed posting - will try for some belated support with a few archive pics later.
Good afternoon!

Wow that week went fast!! I did not even get around to wear any Alice :panic:
Thank you for hosting @Jereni !! - to do justice to the 3xA I just now put on some Shirleys - beside Dallet I think she is the most heavily represented designer in my collection - possibly with Aline and Annie as other runner ups.

Thanks for the sweet pic of the littles, too! Proof indeed that a well-dressed princess is ready for anything! The little fellow is so sweet, too. Hugs to you all.

Happy Monday!

I won't have much to contribute this week but I am looking forward to seeing everyone's treasures, particularly Christiane Vauzelles, a designer I do not know much about.

As for Christine Henry, a few scarves came and went in my collection and I've only kept one, which I love and wear quite often, particularly in the summer, Fleurs de Giverny. Another pattern on pattern day.
