Love your Sirene and the matching pants!❤️Well, as I knew would happen, I ran out of week before being able to do even a hint of justice to these "A" designers and the wonderful pieces I have collected over the years. With a huge thank you to @Jereni for hosting this week, and to all of you for sharing your treasures and your stories about those treasures, I will close with recent designs by Alice Shirley:
Last week I wore Cheval Sirene on the bright blue and pink side. Oh, this scarf is a perfect match with Rose Zinzolin lipstick, which alas, alas! Hermès has retired. I even scoured the websites of Bloomingdale's and Saks to secure a few additional tubes ... as if preparing for a lipstick apocalypse...

My beloved Sous le Charme d'Orphee CSGM, worn with my favorite summer sweater (cotton and cashmere on cool August evenings!)

And my SOTD, my newest Alice Shirley, the charming little Tyger Tyger 70! This was a surprise purchase for me but once I saw this cw, I knew I had to have it. It goes with everything and will make a great little travel companion, too.

Thank you again everyone for a wonderful A+ week full of A+ designs by Scarflandia's three favorite A's-- I just cannot get enough of this week and wish I had been able to show more of my own A+ treasures!
I don’t know where my comment went on my previous post but this is absolutely gorgeous 😍 Great choice! Not my sotd but on theme. Similar story as paddock. I had a feeling none of the new Tyger tyger 70 colorways would work on me, and was eventually proven correct in trying 3 cw’s. Very early in new season when we simply saw the colorways coming out I decided to get a CSGM with the beautiful sky instead. I needed to scratch that Tyger tyger itch that was coming from this season and didn’t want to get one just because it was new and a tyger, plus knowing it wouldn’t have been ideal colors on me.
I surprisingly (didn’t expect to find one so quick) found this one which I am so so happy to have in collection.

Again, I don’t know where my reply went on my previous post but this looks so cute with your dress, love the pattern mixing! One more Aline today - Plumes en Fete for a Museum visit today.
And some pattern matching (hopefully successful)

Hello and good morning,
I think it's time for Alice, no? I started to buy H scarves in 1991, for quite some years, and then I took a looong leave of absence from H. I don't know why exactly, I was perhaps a bit fed up, thought the designs to be too bourgois or classic/tedious for me and anyway, I was more into other designers then, two swiss ones which seemed more exciting and modern to me (and which have disappeared meanwhile!). Then, in 2014, there was this back cover on the seasonal scarves booklet H used to issue at that time. View attachment 6215009I was fascinated. Went to the boutique and bought my first H scarf in over 10 years. Had no idea who the designer was, but I know now! 😁View attachment 6215010View attachment 6215011View attachment 6215012
Amazing colours on you @darkstar66 and @Croisette7. I love hearing stories about people’s collecting journeys. It’s fascinating. What a glamorous look with your Zebra skirt and the feathered necklace, fabulous darkstar! ... and twinning with you!

Wow. Green. I don’t know what else to say.
Gorgeous! Two incredible designs. Some archive photos 140 CS by Aline Honoré: Plumes en Fête cw 02 + 11; Sieste au Paradis cw 12

They’re both spectacular.I first found this design in a giant silk.

Shortly afterwards the 90 came along. Both are beautiful and are staying in the collection.

Sieste au Paradis is my scarf of the day.

Superb with your lemon yellow top!Good morning everyone and Happy Friday. I am a little disappointed that I have been so busy and unable to focus on these designers because, as for so many of us, they are quite high in my personal Pantheon of Silk Artists! Aline Honoré is by far the artist with the most multiples across a number of designs in my collection. In fact, I have three new cws of 90 Sieste, Fleurs d'Indiennes and Parures de Samouraïs that I plan to debut this fall!!!! But for today I am wearing one of my beloved Sieste 90s in summer brights. I am not usually quite this matchy-matchy but for today...
It started in a pretty cantilevered collar knot (basically @Cookiefiend's Impossible knot with more structured folds)
View attachment 6215128
And after a doctor's appointment and a trip to the tailor, it has ended up like this...
View attachment 6215129
But it matters not at all because I love Sieste au Paradis in any format, size, knot or fold!!!!

I don’t know this spelling game but your husband has definitely earned a thumbs up from this community on this word. Thank you for indulging us with scarves and flowers combo.I’m loving this color combination. And my DH gained some knowledge today… 😂

Amazing styling. You look wonderful in each of these outfits. The green and blue scarf combination is exquisite!I am going to squeeze in two more Aline Honoré designs before our week ends and maybe a Shirley or two after tomorrow evening...DH and I are meeting friends for dinner and my SOTE is Sieste au Paradis 140 plume silk worn as a top. Inspired by @Redbirdhermes today and by @cascade2021, whose love of the format made me reach for mine...

And several scarfies have shown the beautiful Tulipomanie GT as well as the gorgeous 90 and they have inspired me to share a recent outfit with my bright blue Tulipomanie 90...
View attachment 6215294
That’s a brilliant idea and I’ve been looking at the 90 for myself well as the colours work better for me. I love this pink with your lipgloss.I am off theme. With the new season 140 paddock coming out and not needing another cashmere and thinking none of the colorways will work enough to purchase at retail anyway, I decided to hunt for my 90. With the $800 international purchase exemption going away on the 29th I decided to do one last international purchase for the foreseeable future. And chose this bright pink colorful Paddock to be my last one. It has a delicious gray hem that takes it over the top to 10/10 for me. Sotd

I don’t know about too many cashmere shawls. Is that possible?! This Tyger Tyger is just wonderful. That purple is stunning. I wouldn’t mind one (or three) myself. Coming from someone who probably has too many cashmere shawls. However, I don’t have a single Alice Shirley CSGM so that’s how I’m skirting around that one.Not my sotd but on theme. Similar story as paddock. I had a feeling none of the new Tyger tyger 70 colorways would work on me, and was eventually proven correct in trying 3 cw’s. Very early in new season when we simply saw the colorways coming out I decided to get a CSGM with the beautiful sky instead. Mmm, wow. I don’t know which one to even look at. I’m just scrolling up and down, up and down…Two scarf day, this evening Au Fil du Carré and earlier at my walk, Retour a la Nature helped against the sun and the wind.
I see I missed Aline and Alice week so here are few from the archives. I love how easy that is 🤔🤣
DuJA, Tyger Tyger, Into the Canadian Wild, Au Cœur de la Vie, Sieste au Paradis, Under the Waves.
Thanks Jereni, for hosting

Did you actually say "not needing another cashmere"?🤣🤣
Thank you for making me laugh - that was much needed today. I’m still chuckling.Aha...
So beautiful @darkstar66. Lovely styling too.Hello,
One of my top 10 designs is Tyger Tyger, and this was the fist one I bought. I love its big striped tiger coat (just flat, not 3 dimensional as in Aline's Pélages), the buzzing nature around his statuesque, tranquil posture and most of all, his sharp, teal eye. I love him!View attachment 6215559View attachment 6215560View attachment 6215562
SO BEAUTIFUL! ❤️❤️❤️Thank you to @Jereni for hosting the 'A' Designers week.
I'm following the lead of many of my fellow Scarfies today and wearing Tyger, Tyger as my scarf of the day. And, reminding myself that I should be wearing this beautiful 90 more.

In addition, I would like to share this morning's scarf mail. This is Grand Prix Polo de Bagatelle mousseline stole in a changeant. It looks Sable brown in many pictures, but in real life it has frequent touches of bright blue and golden brown.

Yes, you had to have the little Tyger. It may be a less frequent blue tone in your collection with its lavender hue. The CSGM Orphée is a favorite and Chevalier is so crisp.Well, as I knew would happen, I ran out of week before being able to do even a hint of justice to these "A" designers and the wonderful pieces I have collected over the years. Thank you for the great theme introduction with this amazing scarf. It’s such a treat to see you here.Looooongtime my scarfie sisters!!
I’m thrilled to be back and sharing Creations by Christiane Vauzelles and Christine Henry this week.
To start off - Christine Henry’s sources of inspiration are mainly tales and legends from around the world, mythology and the symbolism related to the representation of animals and plants in different civilizations, old or new.
A perfect example of this is beloved Peuple du Vent (People of the Wind).
View attachment 6215910
In homage to the wandering tribes of Europe (Tziganes, Gypsies and Bohemians) it displays nature and recounts myth and their magical virtues - communicating with animals, palm reading, etc. Surrounded by gypsy dancers, a tree of life welcomes musicians, tightrope walkers and animals.
Some delightful details:
