@LKBNOLA, I can definitely relate to the realities of lipstick apocalypses. It's a thing! Lovely scarf choices you have shared this week. I am thinking I may "need" a Tyger Tiger 70 and you'll never guess what CW I have my eye on!
Thank you so much for sharing the method for knotting a 140 as a top @LKBNOLA! I will try it before summer is over!
And so happy to be your twin on the Wild Singapore LE. Thanks for sharing your beauties this week and I’m looking forward to seeing your new cws this fall!
Haha your lipstick is a perfect match! Happy you found a few to stock.
Your Orphee is magnificent!
Pretty much all of my scarves are blue so I keep telling myself I don’t need the blue Tyger, but after seeing it look so spectacular on you I may be changing my mind! 🐯💙
Love your Sirene and the matching pants!❤️
Superb with your lemon yellow top!
Amazing styling. You look wonderful in each of these outfits. The green and blue scarf combination is exquisite!
Thank you @GloWW0rM, @Croisette7, @LitGeek, @FA73 and @CoastalCouture for your lovely comments on my recent posts. You are all so kind and it makes me so very happy to get the feedback from fellow scarfies, too. The blue Tyger Tyger has not seemed as popular as the pink or the noir but for me, it ticks just about every box! Hope to see some twins around here...

These are all stunning @monteverdi-- and just superbly styled as well!
Yes, you had to have the little Tyger. It may be a less frequent blue tone in your collection with its lavender hue. The CSGM Orphée is a favorite and Chevalier is so crisp.
Thank you @Maedi-- yes, the "bleu lavande" is an unusual color and I am happy to have it!

Looooongtime my scarfie sisters!!

I’m thrilled to be back and sharing Creations by Christiane Vauzelles and Christine Henry this week.

To start off - Christine Henry’s sources of inspiration are mainly tales and legends from around the world, mythology and the symbolism related to the representation of animals and plants in different civilizations, old or new.

A perfect example of this is beloved Peuple du Vent (People of the Wind).

Oh it is so absolutely delightful to see you back in Scarflandia @turfnsurf! You have been much missed here, and your beautiful collection, too. Thank you for taking up the baton on the two "C" designers...I am excited to share the ones I have. I think I will work backwards and share my most recent Christine Henry: last season's Brides de Gala en Fleur. Of course she shares the credit with Monsieur Grygkar but the florals-- which I think are a specialty of hers?-- are lovely.
A recent archive post because I am today in the company of a one year old (aka the Mini Menace) and my scarves cower in terror until he is down for the count!

C.Henry’s Nuées Imaginares is ideal for this purpose. It features whimsical and fantastic beasts floating on dreamy stylized clouds.

Welcome back, turf! You look amazing!❤️

Thank you @Jereni for hosting this week. I didn’t manage to comment and post as much as I’d have liked to but it was lovely to pop in and see everyone’s silken beauties.

Some catching up on comments before I dive into this next week’s theme…

Hello again, please excuse me for writing a second time, but I will not post tomorrow and I cannot let an Alice week go by without showing my 100% absolute top grail treasure: JAGUAR QUETZAL of course. It will be my SOTM if the heat lets me. Thank you so much, Jereni, for hosting meticulously and with great energy this captivating week full of iconic designs. :hugs:View attachment 6215570View attachment 6215571View attachment 6215572
Exquisite colours and so breathtaking with your necklace. I love everything about this look in all the various ties.
Thank you to @Jereni for hosting the 'A' Designers week.

I'm following the lead of many of my fellow Scarfies today and wearing Tyger, Tyger as my scarf of the day. And, reminding myself that I should be wearing this beautiful 90 more.

In addition, I would like to share this morning's scarf mail. This is Grand Prix Polo de Bagatelle mousseline stole in a changeant. It looks Sable brown in many pictures, but in real life it has frequent touches of bright blue and golden brown.

So gorgeous. I fear that if I met you and you were wearing this scarf I’d struggle to minting conversation as I’d be so distracted by your Wild Singapore.
Good evening!

I feel blessed as I just had a wonderful day with 15 fantastic women for lunch and drinks in my cabin. Some of these dear friends I have known for almost 40 years (!).
Now I will relax and do the dishes, but first I will sit down for five minutes with a pink gin and parures on the porch in the nice and cool evening.

What a wonderful day with friends. Cheers to enjoying life and looking fabulous.
I wore a dress, H scarf, and bracelet in colors inspired by the Chiharu Shiota installation I visited at the ICA Watershed today. I’m not sure anyone noticed but it was fun :)View attachment 6215777View attachment 6215778View attachment 6215779View attachment 6215780
I love this!
Well, as I knew would happen, I ran out of week before being able to do even a hint of justice to these "A" designers and the wonderful pieces I have collected over the years. With a huge thank you to @Jereni for hosting this week, and to all of you for sharing your treasures and your stories about those treasures, I will close with recent designs by Alice Shirley:
Last week I wore Cheval Sirene on the bright blue and pink side. Oh, this scarf is a perfect match with Rose Zinzolin lipstick, which alas, alas! Hermès has retired. I even scoured the websites of Bloomingdale's and Saks to secure a few additional tubes ... as if preparing for a lipstick apocalypse...

Thank you again everyone for a wonderful A+ week full of A+ designs by Scarflandia's three favorite A's-- I just cannot get enough of this week and wish I had been able to show more of my own A+ treasures!
The more I see you wear the blue Tyger Tyger, the more I feel I need to try this cw on. I really like the dusky blue. The other looks are wonderful, too.

Lovely to see you and thank you for hosting this week @turfnsurf.

I feel as though I’ve gone back to early 2021 when I first ‘hanging out’ on the thread but didn’t have much to contribute to the weekly themes. No Vauzelles or C. Henry in my collection but I’m a fan so I am looking forward to seeing some special pieces this week and learning more about the artists.

Welcome to Christiane and Christine Week, @turfnsurf. I don't have as many 'C' scarves as I do "A' scarves, but there should be enough to get through the week.

I'm beginning with Tigre Royal Fleuri by Christiane Vauzelles as my scarf of the day. We are heading to baseball park shortly to watch the local team hopefully win a game this series. My floral tiger is hiding under the folds since, unfortunately, the tiger is the mascot for today's opponent. :P

I fully believe you can wear a 90… I’ll play with a couple other ties; it’s my new favorite thing (the secret is to grab a set of sticky nip’ covers) :giggle:

I am also trying to resist this new Tyger edition as I don’t wear the 70 cm ones that much. Twins on the CSGM with you and @bunnycat . It’s a beauty and looks great on you.

Pink gin and Parures..I love it!
Thank you @darkstar66-- can't wait to see what you come up with! I love the silvery greys in this cw and also the wonderful cherry red!

Thank you! And I am in luck if brown and blue are an in combo this winter @Redbirdhermes! I have a few... :giggle:

For @FA73 and @Jereni: to wear your 140 as a top, follow the same method as for a 90. I fold it in half in a triangle, thread the center points through a scarf ring (you can pull the scarf ring down as far as you want to shorten the length) and tie behind your neck. Bring the other two points to the back and tie, or cross over and tuck into your waistband. I usually wear this look over a tube top and slim pants and if I want it to be shorter, I simply fold up the fabric at the bottom before tying. In this case, I left it at a tunic length. If I tuck the ends into the back waistband, I will often add a magnet to keep it from unwrapping. I don't know what to call this but I think it is in the H knotting cards and on Instagram, albeit with other large sizes. (@claudyamoreira has some great scarf-as-top strategies)
And thank you @Jereni. Here is the PdS (cw 12) flat-- @Marie-the-Mary also has this if you are seeking more photos.
View attachment 6215820

I love the bright blue Tuilipomanie @Croisette7-- it makes me want another bright-- the pink or the red maybe... I believe you collected them all? Delighted to be PdS twins!

Thank you so much @Maedi!

Two fantastic origin stories and I always love hearing you describe your acquisition though processes-- you are so discerning and smart about your collection. Meanwhile you have a beautiful bright Paddock and a beautiful Tyger Tyger (with a night sky!). Congratulations on both @Nomad...

This looks wonderful together @Jacq1-- I think it is a total success!

You have collected so many beauties @Helena7!!! And your jewelry collection must be fully keeping pace with your wonderful scarves by the looks of your photos! Gorgeous... (and thank you for the Sieste compliment-- we are twins on the CSGM!)

A beautiful Tyger Tyger but I am smitten with your second outfit @darkstar66. I am happy you showed your treasured JQ. I ran out of week before I could wear mine but you have inspired me to put it at the top of the Alice Shirley rotation -- really it deserves all the praise! Perfect necklace, too....

Your Tyger Tyger is stunning and congratulations on your Grand Prix changeant moussie stole @Redbirdhermes! I am your green sister and am in awe of how magical this piece is. Beautiful and surprising! What a great addition...

Simply gorgeous and I am exceedingly happy (and grateful) to be your twin @FA73-- I must try it on a bright coral top...

I think when you have as pleasant a day as you've described and you match your end-of-day drink to the hem of your shawl you are definitely Winning at Life @HermesEchidna!

I love your red scarf as an obi @Teaforparrots and how clever of you to match the installation! I personally get a lot of pleasure doing such things myself...
Awe thanks. And your Tyger 70 picture is making it hard to resist
