Hello and good morning,
Yes, I also have a grail by Christine Henry, it is probably my grail of the grails of my whole collection. When I became aware of its existence several years ago, I had to have it, whatever the price because it is priceless to me. Here is my personal story behind. When I was in my early 20s, I visited Pompeii for the first time and was completely enthralled by its beauty. Then I discovered this mosaic on site, Cave Canem, and was even more enthused: Roman culture, mosaic and a hilarious doorstopper! I visited Pompeii again some years ago and again, it was a magic site for me, regardless the many more visitors this time. So, this Christine Henry "adaption" had to be mine, for sure. I dedicate it today to all black cats, Tea's and our black visitor from some weeks ago and the one we pass each day on our walk. ❤️🖤❤️View attachment 6218157View attachment 6218158View attachment 6218159View attachment 6218160View attachment 6218161
Oh beau-ti-ful, I love everything about that one! The story, the black cat, the mosaic... what a treasure, in the best colorway I've seen so far.

I see why you were on a hunting mission for years dear @darkstar66! It is gorgeous 😍 I love everything about it and of course especially the story behind! My cat Miss Marple aka Madame sends her kind regards 😉

Wow, that first mod shot is just smashing, turfnsurf! You show in all these photos that classic designs can be so modern and fresh, thank you for the inspiration! 💜
Thanks @darkstar66
The vintage designs have soooo much to offer- I love when they’re appreciated :drinks:

I’m thrilled for you that you have this design and also have such a connection! You’ve tied it ideally imo to showcase the humor of the cat & mouse situation. Bravo

There will be a run on Tourbillon now with all these beautiful examples. Chateaux in your hair is spectacular, framing your face, taming your pretty curls.
Haha- Thnx
I agree that Les Tourbillons is a very deserving design…

Off topic with Potager extraordinaire for a stroll to the weekly market.
