Coming home to New Orleans always makes me very happy. Reconnecting with scarves and clothes I've been away from also lifts my spirits! Finding Scarf Mail waiting upon arrival makes me super happy :happydance: Introducing my new-to-me cw of New Orleans Creole Jazz (1996 edition) which is a bonus scarf-on-site because I wore it in New Orleans this morning ...

Forgive another megaquote. The hazard of trying to catch up.

For 24 hours we have been having the most miserable weather: super cold followed by tremendous winds and torrential rains. We even lost power last night... but you know what? Cute horses in blankets cheer me up. Dip dyes cheer me up and cozy cashmere cheers me up too. SOYE (before the storm) bringing some chaos into the mix: Imprimeur Fou Couvertures et Tenues/Ex Libris CSGM-- I have long wanted one of the "printer's errors" designs and am so happy to have added this one! Lots of enablements over the years, but I believe @xincinsin and @Redbirdhermes have a cotton/silk version and I saw this exact cw on @Sammy Royal in the 2017 threads...

And staying in the horse-plus-blanket happiness, here is my SOTD, Couvertures in one of my favorite formats: dip dye!

I was looking for the scarves that make me happy, and I was delighted to find this Les Plumes de l’Ouest that I forgot I had! This might be the first time I am wearing it as well. View attachment 5927497

Even if I had a not so good day (at the torch) and still many many tasks to go before I can call the day done, Animapolis is always good for a laugh.

ETA- I DO think my new dark circle correcting eye cream actually helped me today! (Because I certainly didn't catch up on any sleep.....) Maybe I should rub it on my wrinkles too????

Thank you so much @Lellabelle. Apparently I have taken a detour into the Emerald City on the Hermes map in recent months...
A new to me scarf, that truly makes me happy, knowing also being twins with our dear fifi! Also SOTD Turqueries en L'Honneur de Mr de Troy
Scarf mail for me today. Jungle love.
Anyway I asked from DH, does he like it?
The answer was: well it is very bright and chearful scarf.
Point on DH, point on.
It is he’s way of saying, OMG the scarf has too many colors and a leopard on it😂
@ninakt -- your new Turqueries is fabulous and the sidebar conversation with DH cracked me up-- although in all seriousness, I do believe this Jungle Love is my very favorite purchase in SS2024! It is so beautiful-- can't wait to see it on you.
Ok, tag, whatever  My neck is nice and toasty and I like looking down so I’m happy
It is a fantastic design @textilegirl and the profusion of fun items strewn everywhere plus those adorable bees in the border mean no one will even notice a random tag! This scarf would make anyone happy!
Yesterday's scarf mail was the Limited Edition version of Space Derby that was available in Hong Kong last year. There is an inscription on the lead chariot that reads "Hermes for a brighter future". The colors are very similar similar to the dark blue regular edition of Space Derby. I added a couple of comparison photos.

I am traveling today but wanted to share my SOYE, not only because it is so very very cheerful, but because it concludes my Beloved India saga. I have already posted about how much I love this design -- it reminds me of a picture book illustration-- so I was overjoyed to first find a 90 in the acajou/red cw. This was followed by my grail CSGM. I should have been perfectly content, right? But I longed for a bright 90 and had bookmarked a gorgeous pink one shown by @Croisette7. I am overjoyed to debut my new-to-me bright pink (and indisputably cheerful) Beloved India. Forgive the poor (flash) lighting but we were on our way to dinner on a cold winter's night!

It’s my first time posting in Scarflandia! I just wanted to share that all of the drool-worthy posts here of the Animapolis scarf (you all are secret enablers :giggle:) have led me to purchase my first H silk! Up until now, I’ve been a cashmere girlie!

Good morning!!!
A Lesson in scarf Logic. When it is cold, wear yellow scarves?! - well because my cosy cardigan is mustard, and I suddenly realised that I reached much more for my few yellow/mustard/brown scarves than usual.
So a perfect excuse for airing the squirrels. I Think I have at least three scarves ‘because squirrels’. They make me happy!
And also a happy Friday to you all!

Very cool @Redbirdhermes and thank you for the comparison pictures, so interesting
Thank you, BlueLilac.
Congratulations! I love this one SO much and also went on a hunt for it when it was released. If I didn’t already have the marine, I would have been sorely tempted, even at the prices they go for! They are so similar, I couldn’t justify it though (the extra cost of buying in HK and then actually getting it here was prohibitive). I do think the SE has a little advantage over the marine, in that rainbow hem. It’s the best hem of all the options. I’d be deeply jealous if I wasn’t so happy for you :P

Absolutely love it on you, @Redbirdhermes but if you ever have a moment of insanity and decide to divest yourself of it, please think of me!
Thank you, Lellabelle. Yes, the rainbow hem is delicious in the Hong Kong version. I think that it is the same as the hem on the yellow Space Derby, which, until now, was my favorite.

You are really on a roll @Redbirdhermes-- but congratulations on this wonderful acquisition! The changes are subtle but I too would have "upgraded" my marine if the option presented...
Thank you, LKB. The beauty of having two such similar colorways of the midnight blue Space Derby is that now I can fearlessly wear the regular version. I'm always hesitant to wear scarves that are precious to me. I'm sure that the regular midnight blue will be having a lot more outings now. The LE will undoubtedly remain precious.
