I lost your quote earlier but wanted to say how much I love this scarf with this two-tone top in these colors @bunnycat! I hope you can get some rest!

Thank you dear LKB! :hugs: I do hope so too. Today was not that day, and tomorrow I have to go prep a friend's apt for the incoming weather while she is out of town, and perhaps stop off for 2 or 3 bags of cat litter just in case (!)....then I hope to hunker down.

From The Story Behind:

"For this delicate design, Florence Manlik was inspired by illustrations from a German album of saddlery and buckles from the early 20th century, which is kept in the Emile Hermes collection. The rooster and ostrich feathers recall the splendor of the parades of yesteryear, during which the horses' bridles were decorated with feather arrangements known as plumes. The "tail" decorations made of horsehair complete the ceremonial ornaments of these colorful carriages."

My scarf of the day is Plumets et Panaches. Of course, I picked the brightest colorway, because it makes me happy. The polka dots are a fun bonus.

I am traveling today but wanted to share my SOYE, not only because it is so very very cheerful, but because it concludes my Beloved India saga. I have already posted about how much I love this design -- it reminds me of a picture book illustration-- so I was overjoyed to first find a 90 in the acajou/red cw. This was followed by my grail CSGM. I should have been perfectly content, right? But I longed for a bright 90 and had bookmarked a gorgeous pink one shown by @Croisette7. I am overjoyed to debut my new-to-me bright pink (and indisputably cheerful) Beloved India. Forgive the poor (flash) lighting but we were on our way to dinner on a cold winter's night!

Spectacular with the green accent border.

Traveling today, and wearing Selle Imaginaire again so instead I will share some other scarves that I find super fun.

Hermes Factory, with its wonderfully symbiotic color scheme.

Lanternes et Ballons… because a cute gavroche is always in style.

Tea for Two - probably the most whimsical/fun design I own.

Jungle Love Stamped - twins with @bunnycat

And Cheval Sirene - I find this colorway to be full of positive energy.

Thank you Marta_K!

Thank you Snausages!

Yippeee! Always glad to be your twin!

That JL Stamped is a fantastic color choice for you twin. And I swear, every time someone models Cheval Sirene....I have to visible restrain my scarf trigger finger....

Congrats on your fab Animapolis and welcome to SOTD!

Purrrrrrr-fectly lovely Maedi. Snuggles With Cats is my other name.
Thank you, bunnycat, I thought of you this morning when I was snuggling with my cat. Your demanding 6:30 walkers and your kindness in looking after the shy outdoor cats.

TY @Marta_K and wow what a stunning ensemble!!!
The brightness is so epic!!!

YASSSS twin. Love it.

I get it, I have a niece who’s like that. You start admonishing her and she just starts BEAMING at you, like… ‘me???? BUT LOOK HOW CUTE I AM!’
I didn't even know there was a Mountain Zebra LE-- I will be so curious @Jereni, should you even find it and I can't wait to see what other grails turn up in your wonderfully growing collex!

Congratulations @scarf1-- every time I see this on someone I gasp and think how lovely and amazing and then I remember that I too am lucky enought to have it and that amazes me even more!

And such a beautiful way to keep warm @EtsyBoss!

I threw caution to the winds with the pink on pink brightness -- for sure @Marta_K! Pink is just happy on its own terms...

This beautiful warm toned outfit is a match for any old winter day @Marta_K.

You are the best and most convincing argument for why all these are as special as they are @Jereni. Beautifully paired and styled.

Oh, congratulations on the beautiful green Animapolis 140 @LaurenHermesLover -- it is so very lovely in this cw, particularly. My own new scarves move from flat surface to chair to mannequin and I take my time enjoying the visual feast, like so many other scarfies! I hope you will feel very welcome and comfortable showing not only your new silk, but yur cashmeres, too! Everyone here loves it all as you can already tell...

Too very good reasons for on-theme cheer: cats and warmth. I hope to become your sister on this one @Maedi. Such an amazing sketchbook on cashmere of Dallet's cat portraits...
Thank you Snausages , Bunnycat, Jereni, LKBNOLA

All outfits so nicely coordinated, Jereni, but Hermes Factory, Cheval Sirene and JLS 70 are my favourite of these looks, just fabulous - I love your colours instinct
Hi all!

It’s my first time posting in Scarflandia! I just wanted to share that all of the drool-worthy posts here of the Animapolis scarf (you all are secret enablers :giggle:) have led me to purchase my first H silk! Up until now, I’ve been a cashmere girlie!

Also not pictured is my first scarf ring! I’m excited to learn all the styles through your posts! I’m so inspired by this community. :flowers:

Hopefully it still counts as my in-theme scarf of the day if I’m not ready to wear her yet… I feel like I need more time just to admire the print! :hbeat:

Welcome, dear, on a slippery silky slope! You're lost - you are already one of us  Thank you for sharing your wonderful Animapolis. And I understand your sentiment well, as it usually takes me long time before I start wearing new scarves, sometimes even ridiculously long - but indeed wearing them beats admiring them. Looking forward to seeing more of you here
Dans l’atelier is a happy shawl because cats are such a gift to humans and they are beautifully portrayed here. Plus it kept me warm today.View attachment 5928958

You look so cosy in it. It’s one of the most beautiful CSGM designs ever, IMHO

A new to me scarf, that truly makes me happy, knowing also being twins with our dear fifi! Also SOTD Turqueries en L'Honneur de Mr de Troy
This is so beautiful, ninakt. Congratulations. I don’t know this design at all, but I just looked it up, and wow! It was designed by Jean Christophe Donnadieu in 2003 but I couldn’t find any information about the design.
