To the consternation of some and delight of others, the multi quote I started before lunch was (naturally) eaten by the time I returned. Suffice to say thanks for the polka dot love and everyone’s mod shots are a bit of brightness in a cold and blustery day!

A pop of pink brings levity to a chilly day (extra delightful having it cold enough to break out the cashmeres!)

I’d like to begin with glorious Scarf Mail! My second CW of Brandebourgs Fleuri was a “panic buy” before the price increase… Well, it will technically be put away and emerge as a gift later, but I just had to check it out and I am in love!

Twins with you on the sweet monsters! I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked adding more orange to my color palette. This one is so much fun, and the giant triangle has become one of my favorite formatsView attachment 5928094!

Parade et Fanfare is a fun, fun scarf from last season that I wanted to have. I normally wear 90s, but the four different color hems on the 45 had me choosing a gavroche instead.

Zabavushka, adorned with its colorful nesting dolls, wooden horses, and toy soldiers, is unmistakably a happy scarf. And I’m even happier to have found one 😍

I am traveling today but wanted to share my SOYE, not only because it is so very very cheerful, but because it concludes my Beloved India saga. I have already posted about how much I love this design -- it reminds me of a picture book illustration-- so I was overjoyed to first find a 90 in the acajou/red cw. This was followed by my grail CSGM. I should have been perfectly content, right? But I longed for a bright 90 and had bookmarked a gorgeous pink one shown by @Croisette7. I am overjoyed to debut my new-to-me bright pink (and indisputably cheerful) Beloved India. Forgive the poor (flash) lighting but we were on our way to dinner on a cold winter's night!

I have 4 of these lambswool dresses, 2 turtlenecks from last winter and 2 bought recently as Christmas gifts (the pink and blue one recently worn). They are unfortunately made by a local clothes company (the name: Solar), they do not sell abroad online, neither do they have shops abroad ( I just checked)

My first scarf mail of 2024 has arrived and it is certainly a fun design.

This is Kawa Ora in my favorite colorway. This design was still on h.com when I began collecting, but the colors were fairly picked over so I passed at that time. Delighted to find it now. I must like these colors, because they are the same as my Le Carnaval de Venise that I wore earlier in the week.

Today was also dark and gloomy, so my brightest happiest MT came to the rescue: Ex-Libris en Cravates Maxi Twilly Cut

I looooved Ab Fab!!! In fact, when trying to give myself a pep-talk before my first ever H store visit (this past year!) and steeling myself for potential SA-attitude, I kept channeling Edina: “You can drop the attitude, you know - you only work in a shop.” (visiting an art gallery, I believe). And there is actually a brand of flavored soda water here called “Lacroix” - cracks me up!

Anyway, the unexpected result of that first H visit was this Super Silk Quest twilly. When I saw the death-and-destruction side, I knew I had to have it. Birkins and Ballistas, anyone???

It's been another long day....only bundled up today against more wind and no time for pics (or even makeup) but yesterday's SOTD was Jungle Love Stamped.

A Lesson in scarf Logic. When it is cold, wear yellow scarves?! - well because my cosy cardigan is mustard, and I suddenly realised that I reached much more for my few yellow/mustard/brown scarves than usual.
So a perfect excuse for airing the squirrels. I Think I have at least three scarves ‘because squirrels’. They make me happy!
And also a happy Friday to you all!
