Thank you, sweet @Coco2606. It’s indigo fonce, which is impossible to photograph. It makes any blue next to it look muddy.

Never seen this cw, Redbird, very pretty in yellow ... and the winter scenery!

I love Oleana which I have only seen at Radspieler in Munich. Have one (too small) cardigan and a pair of pulse warmers.

Fascinating post, and what a beautiful CW of L’Hiver en Poste. Is the border raisin? These are such elegant silks. Thank you for showing the matte blanc overlay too - so perfect for these exquisitely rendered snowy scenes ☃️

Wow @Ashanti_Rose. I have a few JLs in the collection but you are making quite the case for the larger formats. As you say, the scale makes for a different effect. The black is stunning on you!

It looks like my knot-nemesis, the friendship knot (as in “I need a friend to tie it for me”! 🤭)

I haven’t mastered the friendship knot either and it has quickly become my fiend.

Hermès’ had an ad on the website that was really sweet and made me realize that a gav can be dressed up in a festive way along with our other formats.

Brides et Destin is one of my recent purchases that I would consider mostly a summer scarf but guess what? It can be a holiday accessory, too! My SOTD.

And for those of you who enjoy gin and elderflower liqueur, here’s a cocktail from the Washington Post, appropriately titled French Blonde.
Ice
2 ounces Lillet Blanc
2 ounces fresh grapefruit juice
1 ounce dry gin, such as Monkey 47
1/2 ounce elderflower liqueur, such as St-Germain
3 dashes lemon bitters

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the Lillet Blanc, grapefruit juice, gin, elderflower liqueur and bitters. Seal the shaker and shake vigorously to chill and dilute. Double strain into a coupe glass and serve. Makes one drink.

OT but had a recent trip to Poland for Christmas Markets. Visted Zalipie Painted Village. Scarf on theme for the visit was Jan Bajtlik's Costume de Fete, which I bought to channel my Polish grandmother.

Lellabelle, Thank you, I love the matte blanc overlay in these scarves. From internet photos the border is a rich purple but I have not seen this particular cw in person.

Wearing the "lego scarf" also known as Madison Party today for holiday pre-school pickup and an afternoon of arts and crafts, glue sticks and glitter, wrapping and decorating. I think it has a cute and festive vibe!

Beautiful @Lellabelle and thank you for the inspiration with the new Pegase ring (inspired to pair it with Clair de Lune!!!!). Your indigo foncé Three Graces is always a joy to see. Amazing color!
