Good afternoon !

First Day of the Holiday and I have now wrapped gifts for two hours and made dough for Swedish Saffransbullar (saffron buns with marcipan) and have catched up on a ton of podcast episodes - talk about hygge!!!

But I also got time to play with yesterdays scarf mail. I am sure I will sleep well tonight now that I have finally added Sweet Dreams to my collection. The triangle does only have two of the jolly monsters - but the color matches a glas of Lillet rosé aperitif 🥂

Hope you have a fabulous Friday !

Well, everyone, thank you for sharing your lovely scarves and deadly drinks! Happy Holly-days...

Exquisitely paired with that dreamy green sweater!!

I picked up an additional colorway of this design because I adore these ice fishermen. Ice fishing is our unofficial winter sport.

Snow is falling heavily today in celebration of the coming of winter. Introducing my latest La Vie du Grand Nord next to my Northern White Pine, which is in its element today.

Oooooohhhh. I don’t normally get drawn to scarves that are predominantly yellow but this is so incredibly striking! Looks wonderful with the beige top.

I guess it's OLEANA from Norway, my favourites. So very chic, Jereni!

Thank you! I think the camera just loves rich textures. This is actually Dale of Norway. I bought during a family heritage trip we took to Norway in 2022, and one other that I’ll show later once I can get a good selfie with it. But Oleana sweaters look very nice too.

Bonne Soir Scarflandia - I think I’m off theme (I’m not sure what it is - so maybe I’m knot?), but I have a Scarf on Site with La Cite Cavaliere, and a bonus of the wine we had!

Omg December in Paris!!!! Too wonderful. Have some lovely wine and Champagne for all of us!

Good day, dear Scarfies, late to the party today because well, you know, holidays. I hope to catch up on your posts and mod shots later today.

Hermès’ had an ad on the website that was really sweet and made me realize that a gav can be dressed up in a festive way along with our other formats.

Brides et Destin is one of my recent purchases that I would consider mostly a summer scarf but guess what? It can be a holiday accessory, too! My SOTD.

And for those of you who enjoy gin and elderflower liqueur, here’s a cocktail from the Washington Post, appropriately titled French Blonde.
Ice
2 ounces Lillet Blanc
2 ounces fresh grapefruit juice
1 ounce dry gin, such as Monkey 47
1/2 ounce elderflower liqueur, such as St-Germain
3 dashes lemon bitters

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the Lillet Blanc, grapefruit juice, gin, elderflower liqueur and bitters. Seal the shaker and shake vigorously to chill and dilute. Double strain into a coupe glass and serve. Makes one drink.

What a cute ad that is! The gav / bandana looks charming on you. And thank you for the drink recipe, I LOVE elderflower and have screenshot this to make it next week with my husbands family.

OT but had a recent trip to Poland for Christmas Markets. Visted Zalipie Painted Village. Scarf on theme for the visit was Jan Bajtlik's Costume de Fete, which I bought to channel my Polish grandmother.
Here's the scarf:

And here's the photos from the village & a brochure. It's easy to see where Jan got his inspiration from:

Oh how neat! Gosh I love this scarf. Perfect for your day out there. I’ve been to many a German Christmas market (and do not get me started talking about them bc I will never stop), but not a Polish one.

Some great scarf on site photos, @Cookiefiend and @shrpthorn! Thanks for sharing your lovely pics and safe travels!

😂 at your wordplay - “on the rocks” indeed! Cheers! Enjoy your well-earned vacation. I have a few more days to go yet and I am counting the hours…

Lovely! Will have to try this.

Wow, it truly is a different scarf on the opposite bias. I love both looks. Thank you (I think!) for putting it on my radar.

Work has been insane this week. A quick round up of some looks. Mostly not on theme.
Point d’Orgue. Organ music is appropriate for the season, I think?

CDL cashmere is a starry winter wonder:

Three graces. A much loved and luminous silk. Trying out the SS2025 Pegase scarf ring, before it goes under the tree. For the eagle-eyed, it’s also on CDL CSGM above.

And inspired by @HermesEchidna, who I half-twin with, SOTD is Source de Pegase:

Anticipating that tomorrow will need some scarf armour. This weekend cannot come fast enough. Looking forward to joining my scarf friends in a cocktail tomorrow evening!

Gorgeous holiday selections! I’m especially smitten with that colorful Source de Pegasus against the red top.

Wearing the "lego scarf" also known as Madison Party today for holiday pre-school pickup and an afternoon of arts and crafts, glue sticks and glitter, wrapping and decorating. I think it has a cute and festive vibe!

So cuddly! And definitely festive and perfect for a school holiday activity.

For @Maedi, @Croisette7 and @Jereni-- I also love Norwegian sweaters-- the one I have (which is probably as old as many scarfies here) is from Dale of Norway-- the Oleana ones look beautiful, too.

Yes!!! Dale of Norway twinsssss.

This is fabulous! Thank you for sharing and your knot is beautiful, too.
Thanks. It was a lot of fun seeing the Painted Village even though the day was damp, rainy & overcast (winter in Poland!). We drove through the village & saw that some "real people" also have their houses painted -so it wasn't just the museum to the original artist.

Some more wintry or festive scarves:

The warmest H scarf in my collection: my Neorocabar muffler. Pure cashmere, it's like an oven. The best thing to wear when it's cold - plus a double dose of cosiness from the warm mustard color and the cheery pink and blue stripes.

Le Regard de l'Arctique, with its cute Arctic animals on the corners and the gorgeous decorated Inuit visors and masks that protect you from the glare of the sun on snow.

Finally, feeling festive with Costume de Fete - twinning with @shrpthorn who showed this scarf yesterday.
