Good morning!!!

Today, as a native Dane, I embrace the hygge @Karenska introduced yesterday. December is the annual peak of Hygge - treats, candles, friends, family and cosy blankets and other wollen garments. In this spirit I wear a Big warm scarf today. For every cashmere the drink of choise must be glögg - mulled wine - but as it is 7.30 in the morning I will settle for the other hygge drink tea….

These days a part of the hygge is to wrap the presents for next week and the frantic knitting of the last ones. These socks will not be ready….

Håber, I alle får en hyggelig dag!
(Wish you all a Day of hygge)
Excellent. Wishing the same to you, dear: stay warm, stay well and remember, when it’s tea time for you it’s glögg time here! 🤣 And vice versa. So, in the spirit of the season (pun intended) we can each take extra cheer in knowing that there’s a scarf-friend out there enjoying one hygge beverage or the other!
My most wintery scarf, and the design that made me seriously fall in love with scarfs.
didn’t think about the scarf when I picked this outfit, so thought it wouldn’t go but is ok.
Now just need a cocktail, does hot chocolate counts given how cold is outside? 😃
It definitely counts!
Thank you, Maedi ... I think it's charming.

avec plaisir, Lellabelle ... thank you so much!
Vous êtes toujours gentille, chère @Croisette7 !
My Christmas grail scarf is the snow globe of busy shoppers surrounded by a Christmas tree filled with snow flocked branches, brown Buldoc and tiny Christmas toys.

Noel au 24 Faubourg in red is my holiday scarf of the day.

A little extra - I was delighted to see the Christmas greetings and sleigh on the brown Buldoc from a recently received scarf box.

This is the ultimate Christmas scarf and festive colourway. How will you top this for Christmas Day, I wonder?? Thanks for sharing!
I love this @Karenska! My DH made quite a lot of fun of me one year when I bought a bottle of Saint Germain elderflower liquer simply because I adored the shape of the bottle on my bar cart...
Lol, the bottles are gorgeous: the fluting, the curves, the weighty glass - they feel so vintage glamorous. It’s like they come in their own decanter. I do hate the caps though - the quality is incongruous with the bottles.
I came up with a bunch of different cocktails to make use of mine. Happy to share ideas if needed!
Two holiday brights for me today!!! One new-to-me and a bit of a trompe l'oeil "hygge" as it appears to be a nice warm knit! Totally enabled by @Redbirdhermes, I was absolutely delighted to find Au Coin du Feu in the wonderful red cw!

And of course, I cannot fail to give my beloved Zabavushka some neck time this week!

Great tie for au coin de feu (perfect trompe l’oeil AND hygge silk) and Zab is fab!
Amping up the holiday vibes with a red shirt.

Lovely!
This is not technically a winter scarf - being Splash Park I suppose it’s the opposite, but I’m so excited to have a scarf that more or less coordinates with my Norwegian sweater! These patterns are intricate and I never feel like any H scarves really go with them.

This is a great pairing. Love the sweater!

Thank you all! ☺️ I don’t have many winter scarves, but I could never forget this one with the sleigh—one of my first 70s!

Gorgeous, twin. This was my first bandana shawl and the one that sent me led me down the primrose path of these beauties @Nomad!!!! I love the green stars and the paisley that feels like snowflakes in this photo...

How can you not have a wonderful time-- Paris in December! You look beautiful @Cookiefiend-- love the moussie and blue sweater combo...

Gorgeous shawl and thank you for the good wishes @HermesEchidna...

This is a gorgeous winter-y blue @amdmarques -- I think hot chocolate is my drink of choice too!

Thank you for these wonderful close ups @darkstar66!

Cannot wait to see and it is so nice to "see" oyu here @momasaurus!

I love this too @Redbirdhermes-- no overboxes in my order this year but I was happy for the ribbon. I am delighted to be sisters on this beautiful holiday grail. This is a very festive colorway!

Very festive and pretty @SilkCouture (a reindeer sleigh!!!!-- I forgot about this detail, so thank you!)

Oh, this is delightful, @SilkCouture, so witty and what wonderful colors. I just love it.

I forgot about the sleigh on this one! I'll have to see if it is on my muffler or not.

Coin du Feu look stupendous tied this way on you!

It's truly perfect with it as it is!

Joining the Noel au Faubourg sisterhood this morning...

Editing to add the thumbnail photo-- I know this design is well known and much loved, but for me it also has the added sentimental connection of a snow globe, which I collected in my youth-- specifically as travel souvenirs! As someone who grew up in tropical countries, those little winter scenes seemed so magical...

 @Lellabelle-- my bar cart is the subject of fond amusement as almost every bottle is chosen for its visual impact (Skull vodka, Bombay Sapphire Blue, Maker's Mark with the red wax dripping, etc...) and I am not one for cocktails so it makes it even funnier to everyone! But I may hit you up for recipes, even so! And thank you for your always lovely comments...

Both so festive and gorgeous, Lkb! These are beautiful lipstick colors and that Zabavushka is totally stunning. Oh my! :faint:.

Thank you both @Karenska and @bunnycat.
SOYD L’hiver en poste and SOTD Une rose pour Alma which is a neutral to me and has festive vibes. Similarly as @HermesEchidna with my knitting project, a hat for DS.

Maedi, I have eyed this colorway so many times! It’s a beautiful, soft green and I love the accent colors. It’s lovely with your pretty hair. And what beautiful knitting and I love the yarn.
