@Croisette7 what an amazing parade of borders. How do you make every scarf look so fabulous? If ever you want to dispense style advice I'm all ears, lol!
And on another note, I'm sure you have been asked this already, but do you have a system for keeping track of your collection?
How sweet of you to say, thank you! Your 2. question ... it is sometimes a problem, but a nice one.

scarf of the evening is my fleurs d’ecosse to tempt @Lellabelle with this design. I wanted to wear it this week too for the cool dot border. I am also wearing a new purchase of this Oxford blue top which I love.
I have realized that I can be too linear, matchy matchy in my thinking with what I can wear w a scarf. This black tous les bateaux has been a tough one for me because I was only thinking gray, silver, black, beige and browns ( I have none in closet). I don’t look great in any of those colors. I have never loved any outfit I have created with bateaux. So I played with it tonight with this top. Much happier. Lastly, showing one of my favorite designs grand theatre nouveaux W the fun pink hem.

Love your Fleurs ... twins on GTN ... nicely tied Tous le Bateaux!
Joining the festival of borders this morning with Belles du Mexique-- a gorgeous all around folkloric border from the Southern Hemisphere! With great thanks to @Karenska and everyone here for a phenomenal week. As always, my wish list has explodede and it is not even the end of January... :girlsigh:

Twinning!
One of the most fun borders: Le Jardin de la Maharani with a parade of whimsical animals. I‘m particularly fond of the little monkey leading a horse.

Super chic coordinated!

You look amazing twin, it is such a chameleon scarf ... lovely earrings too!

Yes, it‘s a 90, cw 07 miel, vert, turquoise with a light green hem. Here is a flat pic with my newly acquired matching velvet tassel slippers.

Thank you so much for your lovely compliments and the foto of the gorgeous Sieste au Paradis! A striking cw with its combination of rather seldom seen colours. Your tassel slippers are really a perfect match - I had to do a double take to actually see them.

That green top and earrings with your CI is fabulous @Thelittlefoxes!

And thank you for your always lovely, thoughtful and related comments @Thelittlefoxes-- I always wish you were across the table from me so we could talk about scarves over coffee instead of through a screen...

Well @Thelittlefoxes, your multiple loves you back! Always wonderful when a scarf we are smitten with turns out to be happily requited. I especially love the whole last look of top, scarf and earrings but you have the perfect wardrobe pieces and earrings for all your multiple lovelies...

I think that tie-- a diagonal fold, pulling each side through the holes of a Chain d'Ancre (but could be an Eperon or Trio also) is just such an easy, graceful way to showcase a border and it stays put, is not too floofy and can be slipped over the head for eating or other non-scarf friendly activities. I use it a lot!
Thank you very much, LKBNOLA! It would be so lovely to talk over a coffee about scarfs, arts and everything related. It‘s funny how much a shared interest can give me the impression to actually know some members here even though we are thousands of kilometers apart and have never met in real life. This is the beauty of this forum!

I would not have expected this knot to be as easy as you describe it. That‘s a very valuable explanation and it sounds as if even I might be able to do it. I must try over the next days and will post the result.

I want to thank everyone for making this week a hit. As the host, my week disintegrated with several unexpected responsibilities so I didn’t “host” nearly as much as I wanted nor have I been able to comment on your posts and offerings as much, either. You all carried the week beautifully. This will be my last post for the week unless I can don a scarf later and show it off. So I’d like to end with some archive shots of some happy hems and bodacious borders. :hugs: ❤️

Ah, the blue Chemins secret ... how beautiful Karenska!

I am slowly catching up over the last two weeks- this thread moves so fast! So many gorgeous silks!! Also love the term non-sequitur hem @Pirula, I feel like some of these really make the design

Patterned hem on Les Bassettes 70

Very eye catching!

Introducing my Sieste au Paradis 140 silk as my scarf of the day to start the week. Glad I finally found one of these grails for myself.

This is SO gorgeous. A real grail

A perfect hem! Chorus Stellarum in vert vif/rose/multi. I love this beauty so much… :hbeat:

Loving all the Chorus Stellarums- especially this colorway!

Still feeling and looking terrible but here’s a shot of the strong border of Selle des Steppes (and Bobby trying to get between my arm and my torso) ;)

Your little bird is so cute!

Here is my Toucans, which featues a beautiful cranberry red.

I love this colorway on you- makes the feathers really look like palm fronds

It just looks fantastic twined around your watch-- great way to add some silk to your look @mktlim and I am amazed how you could do it (unless you had an obliging helper!).

@LKBNOLA Just lots of practise by myself (I always have to put on my own bracelets, tying the twilly wasn't as bad)! Unfortunately I don't have an obliging helper. :giggle:

Ah, there are too many beautiful scarves this week...unfortunately I can't comment on them all. Thank you for sharing them and special thank you to @Karenska for choosing such a wonderful theme!
