Joining the festival of borders this morning with Belles du Mexique-- a gorgeous all around folkloric border from the Southern Hemisphere! With great thanks to @Karenska and everyone here for a phenomenal week. As always, my wish list has explodede and it is not even the end of January... :girlsigh:

Oh yes, it’s so much fun browsing through the forum but it‘s quite dangerous too - always a wish list explosion waiting to happen! You‘ve tied the scarf to showcase the borders to perfection.

One last favorite border. This cw was all about the chartreuse for me. I just loved it! Not an easy color to wear but with the blue to balance and the way it’s mostly around the scarf, I had to have it!

It looks marvellous with your blue sweater and the pendant necklace!
Beautiful. Twins on the green!
Great to be your twin again! We have a similar colouring, so many of your scarfs have made it on my wish list.

I've really enjoyed this week and I am thrilled to have been able to admire the photos of scarves that I've been dreaming of for a long time and that you're wearing beautifully. Little rainbow for the weekend (great idea @Redbirdhermes ! ).

SOTD, shawl " The three graces". Thank you again for this festival of borders!
Great to see we are twins on the green Jardin de la Maharani! The three graces look fabulous and radiant!
I'm not sure you like this design... ;)
That‘s the only design where I have so many multiples. I guess I got carried away a bit …;).

I want to thank everyone for making this week a hit. As the host, my week disintegrated with several unexpected responsibilities so I didn’t “host” nearly as much as I wanted nor have I been able to comment on your posts and offerings as much, either. You all carried the week beautifully. This will be my last post for the week unless I can don a scarf later and show it off. So I’d like to end with some archive shots of some happy hems and bodacious borders. :hugs: ❤️

Stunning!! I did not have an opportunity to search through colorways of this design but was lucky enough to have this one gifted to me! I fell in love immediately. Twins on the scarf ring as well! The earrings are perfect.
I fell in love with two cws of this fab design after ordering two from H.com-- I was happy to have encountered the ones I had seen on the AW22 thread that never made it online. Thank you @MAGJES would love to see you style yours! We are twins with @Maedi, too.
Thank you! :amuse:

The baguette twilly hem makes it a bit stiffer if that makes sense, the hem is made of thread instead of the usual silk hem.
It just looks fantastic twined around your watch-- great way to add some silk to your look @mktlim and I am amazed how you could do it (unless you had an obliging helper!).
My scarf mail is on theme with the happy pink contrasting hem.

View attachment 5690887
Oh, congratulations @MAGJES-- you and @Nomad and @orchard (among others) have made this a CCP I would absolutely jump to do if given the opportunity. Such a beautiful cw and a special version of an already lovely design...
Strong boarder, contrast hem.
Ardmore Artist’s Savana Dance.
A number of my favourite scarves fall somewhere in this colour category.
It is beautiful on you @Smae-ze-- I can see the attraction for you.
A fun blue checkerboard pattern on the edges of this Trophees CSGM, a favorite of mine picked out by my sporty daughter who also loves blue.

View attachment 5690897
Totally great on you and how lovely that your daughter had a role in its selection @EtsyBoss!
Zebra Pegasus looks great when knotted, the stripes look bold and the contrast hem is a great surprise. Your Tous les Bateaux du Monde is wonderful, it has one of the most beautiful borders ever. And loving everything orange, the contrast hem is just perfection!

Thank you so much, I love to match my earrings to my scarf. CI is actually two different cws but the first cw is extremely versatile and can look like two completely different scarfs.

That green top and earrings with your CI is fabulous @Thelittlefoxes!
A great design and a very elegant cw! I wish I were able to produce such beautiful scarf knots. Your golden earrings are a beautiful accent and I love how they call back to the orange circles on the scarf.

A marvellous cw and the beads/mosaics make for a great border. Great earrings too!

Thank you, LKBNOLA. And what a start it was…

An intriguing design, so much to discover. Whenever I see bees in the arts or in design I must think of the bees in the family crest of the Barberini family. When Maffeo Barberini became pope Urban VIII he had bees on everything he had built and designed in Rome, even the Baldachin in the center of Saint Peter‘s. I can understand you want them showcased as much as possible.
And thank you for your always lovely, thoughtful and related comments @Thelittlefoxes-- I always wish you were across the table from me so we could talk about scarves over coffee instead of through a screen...
Plain borders often get a bad rap but I think of them as really wide contrast hems

This is a brilliant concept-- it fits perfectly to my "border as frame" idea by reframing (see what I did there @Snausages? ) the issue in a positive light! Ad your three examples are fantastically tied to make your point. Brava!
Oh wow what a great backdrop color for this design. I can see it so well! Wonderful earrings too wow
:ty: :hugs:
scarf of the evening is my fleurs d’ecosse to tempt @Lellabelle with this design. I wanted to wear it this week too for the cool dot border. I am also wearing a new purchase of this Oxford blue top which I love.
I have realized that I can be too linear, matchy matchy in my thinking with what I can wear w a scarf. This black tous les bateaux has been a tough one for me because I was only thinking gray, silver, black, beige and browns ( I have none in closet). I don’t look great in any of those colors. I have never loved any outfit I have created with bateaux. So I played with it tonight with this top. Much happier. Lastly, showing one of my favorite designs grand theatre nouveaux W the fun pink hem.

Well now, in addition to wanting to chase down all your beautiful silks (that Ecosse! that Bateaux!) we are all going to want to know where we can get that perfect blue top that pairs so well with such different H silks! It looks amazing with all three @Nomad-- truly the perfect blue backdrop. Twins on two of these and happy to have become a sister recently on Fleurs...
Thrilled to be your twin on this color way and you make it look so good. The earrings are a magnificent addition and accent.
It is because of your mod shot that I knew to pounce on it in the boutique. I was lucky that someone had ordered and turned it down! Thank you @Maedi. The earrings are a new to my hive-- bees were the mascot of my childhood girls' school. Can't resist them!

Dear @Coco2606 -- I missed or dropped your quote with Sur un Tapis Volant and that was a very early H gift to me as well. And we are twins on the Cavaliers du Caucasse, too. Your menswear look was adorable and today's rainbow of hems is beautiful-- truly I admire your collection so much and enjoy all your terrific mod shots and enjoyable commentary. You add so much energy and humor to our thread! :ty: :flowers:
One of the most fun borders: Le Jardin de la Maharani with a parade of whimsical animals. I‘m particularly fond of the little monkey leading a horse.

Well @Thelittlefoxes, your multiple loves you back! Always wonderful when a scarf we are smitten with turns out to be happily requited. I especially love the whole last look of top, scarf and earrings but you have the perfect wardrobe pieces and earrings for all your multiple lovelies...
Oh yes, it’s so much fun browsing through the forum but it‘s quite dangerous too - always a wish list explosion waiting to happen! You‘ve tied the scarf to showcase the borders to perfection.
I think that tie-- a diagonal fold, pulling each side through the holes of a Chain d'Ancre (but could be an Eperon or Trio also) is just such an easy, graceful way to showcase a border and it stays put, is not too floofy and can be slipped over the head for eating or other non-scarf friendly activities. I use it a lot!

There aren't enough days in the week sometimes to cover all the magic of our H scarves. The bandana is such a fun format and you are the undisputed Queen in my opinion-- your choices are always amazing...Thank you and have a great weekend!

Big big crush on the blue camouflage...

@Croisette7 what an amazing parade of borders. How do you make every scarf look so fabulous? If ever you want to dispense style advice I'm all ears, lol!
And on another note, I'm sure you have been asked this already, but do you have a system for keeping track of your collection?

Same! And also the fabulous brooches...

Here I am supposed to be working and being productive and now I'm off on a search for Tous les Bateaux cashmeres.... That little monkey face gets me every time. Your collection of this design is a marvel @Croisette7 as is your color sense... utter perfection at every turn

Thank you kindly Karenska! I think yesterday was Kiss Your Ginger Cat Day and I am behind! He may be part Maine Coon, but I am not sure....

Beautiful parade of silk and cashmere Croisette!

Wo @lanit these are all spectacular! I love that yellow Space Derby

TY @Pirula and delighted to twin with you on this!

TY @LKBNOLA and I don’t think those earrings could *bee* any more perfect to pair with this scarf

Delighted to be your twin @GloWW0rM

And delighted to be your sister @Redbirdhermes !

@Coco2606 love the whole look with this!

Twinning with you @Croisette7 on several but that collection of Siestes made me gasp! So exquisite!

Dear @Croisette7 I am so happy to see you back here sharing your beautiful collection and stunning mod shots. I cannot tell you how many cws of silks (and now CSGMs) I have bookmarked, researched and hunted for after seeing you show them to us here. So Happy New Year to you and it is so delightful to see you back even as my wish list explodes with each of your posts. :flowers:

All favorites-- twins on both silk RduS and the CSGM on your adorable embroidered blouse is perfection!

Twins on the first FoSA and on Zabavushka (which I did not remember!) -- the green background FoSA is a marvel too but one of my favorite of your mod shots is that lovely lacy top with the tassel pendant and the pale pink one...

Beautiful both-- fabulous cws of each...

I most definitely need a Patchwork Horse in my life!

All are marvelous-- I am very partial to this style of design -- the blue Selle d'Officiel is so so lovely...

Jaw-dropping. The most amazing collection of Siestes ever. Would love to find that pink twill... :girlsigh:

Beautiful. And as others have said, always so perfectly matched with tops and jewelry... Thank you for this marvelous array. Wish I could make it into a slide show...

I don't think I've ever seen that dramatic colorway of Zabavushka. Love it!

I almost went with the colorway and still have regrets every time I see it! Beautiful.

I was late to the party with this design and only recently decided to give it a try. It's such a fun scarf! Colorway Twins!

Savana CSGM Twins!

Your parade of Siestes are amazing!!

OH! This design ties so well!!

So glad you are back! Twins on both Patchworks! LOVE that green jacket.

they are well deserved! Your showcase today is just outstanding.

A wonderful cw of the 70 Savana Dance! Robe du Soir is beautiful in every cw. I overlooked the design when it came out because it really comes alive when folded and tied.

Glad to be your twin on the second and third cw of Coupons Indiens. But I guess you make it easy for us to be your twins because your scarf drawers and the archives of Hermès must be one and the same.

Sisters on the Maharani! A perfect design with the right mixture of classic, Paisley-like leafs and whimsical creatures.

You have the pink/multicoloured Patchwork horse! This is such a great cw and your pairing with the green blazer is marvellous.

Just incredible! Is the second one from the top a 90 silk? I‘ve never seen this very special cw before.

Fascinating how different the border looks on the various cws.
First of all wishing our community a Happy, Peaceful, Healthy 2023 ... and many orange boxes!
Also very special thanks for the warm welcoming and the overwhelming compliments Coco, Ajaxbreaker, EtsyBoss, bunnycat, Snausages, LKB, MAGJES, Lellabelle, Thelittlefoxes & Nomad! And thanks for all the LIKES!
