My fav hem on Sur Mon Nuage cw 10:love:
I love how whimsical these borders are! Reminds me of candy canes

I am fond of the subtle border of my blue Jungle Love.
Really liking both styles, especially with the pattern mixing. This jungle love design is on my list for the next time I go to the boutique.. fingers crossed

Somebody asked for contrasted hems. Here is "Jardin à Sintra" !
Wow—love this design! Thanks for sharing!

Plus the border has these adorable seals and walruses in the corners
omg way too cute. Is it just on those two or all four have animals? The seals are adorable

Think H finally caught on that us scarf lovers go Gaga over contrasting hems and cool borders lol! Here is my choice today- Plumes en Fete with marvelous taupe hem on yellow.
Haha that we do! This one is beautiful, I love the unexpected combo of taupe and yellow

Acte III, Scene I, La Clairiere... CSGM with a fabulous border and subtle contrast trim.
This is my SOTD too :)

And because I couldn't leave him out. It wouldn't be fair since Snickers got a photo op.

Sir Pickles awaits tribute on his throne. (PS- I love how the pillows match both Pickles and the bench... )

LOVING everyone’s rainbow parade of hems!

scarf of the evening is my fleurs d’ecosse to tempt @Lellabelle with this design. I wanted to wear it this week too for the cool dot border. I am also wearing a new purchase of this Oxford blue top which I love.
I have realized that I can be too linear, matchy matchy in my thinking with what I can wear w a scarf. This black tous les bateaux has been a tough one for me because I was only thinking gray, silver, black, beige and browns ( I have none in closet). I don’t look great in any of those colors. I have never loved any outfit I have created with bateaux. So I played with it tonight with this top. Much happier. Lastly, showing one of my favorite designs grand theatre nouveaux W the fun pink hem.

@Nomad you tempted me with that stunning d'ecosse. It has been on my list and I lucked into one last night on a UK site for a good price. The chartreuse border and all of those colors are so eye catching. They have already shipped... so soon to join you in twinlandia!

One of the most fun borders: Le Jardin de la Maharani with a parade of whimsical animals. I‘m particularly fond of the little monkey leading a horse.
Me too! That little rhino is wonderful too - all the animals in that border really. I especially love the rhino and monkey leading the horse. The little details that make this artform. Your collection is inspiring!

Casual day today tidying the house but I wanted to show my dramatic Cheval Turc borders. Bold borders work well for me, for whatever reason. The one I’m modeling came first in my collection. As soon as I saw the listing online I knew it was for me!

Love purple on you TFP! Great match with the t-shirt, too. The touch of coral/pink almost looks like an extension of the design

Acte III, Scene I, La Clairiere... CSGM with a fabulous border and subtle contrast trim.

"The name of this design is taken straight from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Written in the late 16th century, this enchanting comedy of errors draws its humour from the confusion caused by falling in love. In a magical forest, young lovers, a theatrical troupe, fairies and elves cross paths and commingle in endless plot twists. In the moonlight, Titania, queen of the fairies, her eyelids impregnated with a love potion, falls madly in love with Bottom, an actor metamorphosed into an ass. In this illustration of the scene, Édouard Baribeaud pays homage to Baroque theatre, Indian miniatures and early cinema."

We probably both like designs with a lot going on and whimsical touches. Your red Acte III CSGM is a marvel because the almost monochromatic cw really makes the different patterns the focus of attention.

JL original wide border, who can resist pink!

What a fabulous Maharani collex
Thank you, orchard! I really love your Tapis Volant against the orange sweater. We are sisters on that one and it‘s a particularly lovely design with both funny little creatures and strict geometric shapes.

I want to thank everyone for making this week a hit. As the host, my week disintegrated with several unexpected responsibilities so I didn’t “host” nearly as much as I wanted nor have I been able to comment on your posts and offerings as much, either. You all carried the week beautifully. This will be my last post for the week unless I can don a scarf later and show it off. So I’d like to end with some archive shots of some happy hems and bodacious borders. :hugs: ❤️
