Both
My first fumble with the snail knot. My main problem was that the folds kept getting undone. I'll try this again with other scarves. Would softer or stiffer be better, I wonder? Would a plisse work with this knot?

And emboldened by this non-disaster, I tried a knot which the Synergy Life lady did in another video. She used a 70cm scarf. I had to use a 90, so she must be very petite!

Both knots look lovely!

Oo
Thank you so much, @Yoon daily scarf for the wonderful introduction to this week’s theme. It will be such a fun and informative week...
For the past couple of days on Instagram, I’ve shared pictures and info about one of my favorite 70cm scarves.. Quadrige Costumé. I own this fabulous design in two similar CWs. I don’t own many 70s, but do like wearing them and I shared some different knots made with them. Since my two CWs work well together, I also enjoyed tying them together to create more voluminous and complex knots.
The first pic below shows both of my CWs folded together. Then, some knots with each of the scarves wearing a navy top. The last three knots were created tying the two scarves together

I previously posted that I would put all the references of my knots this week. This knot is so famous and I think many of you scarf ladies already know how to do it... But to keep my promise, I recommend dear Maitai's tutorial! I love her wonderful knots always.

And, I'll post my 'Double Half Bow Knot' tutorial. it's a humble tutorial as usual, but hope you like it!

+) Oh and does anyone know the tutorial URL of BFK? I fell in love with BFK when I saw @Pirula 's beautiful knot, but I don't know how...:panic: I really want to try it, too! Please let me know if you know how. I really appreciate if you can help me! ♡

If the first bow(A) and second bow(B) are fixed together with one rubber band, the bows may be loosened when you adjust your knot at final step. I recommend that you fix the first bow(A) only with the rubber band!

+) And you can make this knot without Chain D'Ancre scarf ring! Instead of fixing the knot with the scarf ring, you can make a simple knot and loosen it and pull the bows through it!

Thank you so much for reading this post, dear Scarfies!

Ooooh! That’s lovely and looks easy. Necessary for moi. Going to try it!

speaking of easy here’s another go to for me, especially in winter with a turtleneck. So warm... just bias fold, wrap around neck, and tie ends in a hacking knot.

Incredible. Just incredible - I love these colors!
One of my go to winter knots is what I call an infinity knot (maybe it has a better name somewhere else??? Who knows!) I did a tut for it over in the "how to" thread in the Ref Lib with I highly recommend! So many of our lovely members have contributed there, with many amazing knots and lots of new ideas in the last 4-6 pages!

A beautiful classic - love the green!
Oh, your knot is beautiful, dear @xincinsin !
Thanks for trying :hbeat:

To add a little bit more if you're not satisfied with your knot, I think it would be good to make the front corner of the left side more wider.

I pulled the front side of the triangular fold to downward & to left quite a bit when I was tidying it up, so if you look at the picture below, the back half is barely noticeable.
View attachment 4998406
View attachment 4998403

To make left corner (front half of the triangular fold) wider:
(1) pull the scarf on your right (I marked it as A in photo) a little more to the left
View attachment 4998402and (2) pull the left corner to more left and downward, and spread it more roundly.

And this is my Ziplock method for adjusting the drapes:

All fab, Cookie

All fab, Cookie, but the last photo is a stunner. That lip color is perfect on you. I love the scarf and sweater combo - which design is this, please? It’s familiar but I’m not figuring it out. And congratulations!
Thank you sweetheart! :hugs:

That Toucans really shines worn this way, and against that fab vest!

@Yoon daily scarf
@Bova123 gave a short description of the BFK (Bova's Fat Knot) in post 4195 (page 280): " I simply keep the shawl in its' rectangular shape from the box, fold it over again lengthwise to an even narrower rectangle, and then tie in the classic weave knot."
After that, several scarfies did variations of it.

I'll try to do a tut for it in the library...
