Oh, my, such a beautiful knot, Xincinsin, and the colors and hem of this MP! Extraordinary. I looooovvvve it.My first fumble with the snail knot. My main problem was that the folds kept getting undone. I'll try this again with other scarves. Would softer or stiffer be better, I wonder? Would a plisse work with this knot?

And emboldened by this non-disaster, I tried a knot which the Synergy Life lady did in another video. She used a 70cm scarf. I had to use a 90, so she must be very petite!

Oh my!I wore this yesterday for a scarfie zoom meetup, but posting today because the knot was pretty cool. I don’t know what it is, but with moussies you just wrap and fluff. View attachment 4997549
Happy Sunday, dear Scarflandians!
I’m so excited to be the host of our weekly theme SOTD! It's an honor for me. I appreciate that @Living.la.vida.fifi invited me to host this week, thank you so much for giving me an opportunity to participate in this wonderful thread. And many thanks to @Cookiefiend for guiding us through the amazing week of Sweetheart Silk
This week’s theme is Tying the knot: Your favorite ways to wear a scarf.
There’s something special about Hermès' scarves – I love their rich colors, exceptional graphics and unrivaled silk quality! There are many ways to enjoy this marvelous silk. It would be great to hang it on the wall with frame, but I prefer to wear it as the ultimate accessories that enhance our daily outfit . I think many of you will agree with me!
As you know, Hermès' scarves are so versatile and can be worn in various ways. I think the biggest charm of this scarf is that you can make it look totally different depending on how you wear it. It interested me that there were no fixed rules or instructions.
So I decided to make a different knot every day when I started recording my SOTD on my Instagram account. It was very interesting to make diverse knots with one scarf. Through these works, I think I have a better understanding of how many details they have hidden in one scarf and how carefully they organized the color arrangement. It’s like a exploring – yes, in a nutshell, we are explorers of this small world of 34x34 inches!
Back to the point, this week, let's share the knots that you love! From fancy knots to simple but useful knots, any knot will do if you like it and enjoy it.
The knot I'm going to show you today is the knot method I showed you in my previous post. My little boys call it a ‘Snail knot.’

Stay warm and safe, dear Bunnycat.Today wearing another designer I am very fond of (Annie Faivre) in a format I have come to love. This past week has been very rough. With our house temps turned down to try and avoid power outages, my days were spent buried in cashmere, layered on top of my fuzzy house robe, which was over my winter sweaters and pants plus 2 layers of socks and house slippers....and I hope you'll forgive the lack of photo evidence. And by night I would pile on the cats and surprisingly, my cotton pareos became indispensable night gear after I fell asleep in one some afternoon and decided a really warm neck was a good thing and "hey...washable!" So I started wearing them to sleep at night during the coldest of the cold
and they are now my faithful friends.
My NTM loveGrand Fonds pareo today while out in the melty, drippy ice doing clean up:

And not quite on topic unless we can consider a future love.....I have longed for a Kyoto Marble silk since I first saw them, but never really got it together on the first floral one, and tho I love the marbling technique, wasn't as fond of the second design. So I am thrilled to put this little wonder in to Mr Bcat's SGV for now and await the acquisition of this pretty pink specialness.
This is the best of both world's for me. I won't have to deal with the dreaded white background, but get the beautiful flower from the first batch of scarves by them I liked so much.

Très chic!yesterday for hair taming and a grocery trip in the snow for supplies...yet another one in my hair lol. I love Jungle Love love by Robert Dallet in twilly format. I have all my fav colorways in it ( some didn’t work for me). This is my 1st fav cw. View attachment 4996159
Wait a minute - is that a bandana with kyoto marbling in the center, or is it a kyoto scarf tied over a bandana? Either way it’s truly stunning but I am very curious.Bunnycat, love your pareo but your Kyoto bandana! Oh my word. I’m speechless.
Thank you, Cookie!
Thank you, Foxy!
Congrats on that wonderful scarf ... esp. made for you!
Gorgeous pink, moma! I have a little Wedgwood brooch, all I could afford as an impoverished student.
This was the special edition JL which she sourced from Japan, right? Very reasonably priced for an exclusive colour.
I rarely wear MP every day for a week, so this was an interesting experiment to see if I could find one to match whatever I wore (I pretty much could...) The skirt was bought as a lark. I've never worn it out as it almost sweeps the floor for me. Maybe when we get over the current situation and I have to attend wedding banquets again.
Thank you for hosting a most enjoyable week, Cookie!
Never too late to chime in.
You always find the most amazing cws!
One important rule of thumb is always to buy whatever makes the heart singI once thought to buy every design that Toutsy created, but I came to my senses. My wallet thanks my common sense

Great news, Bunnycat!I'm a big Alice Shirley fan so to round out this week I put on my Tyger Tyger to blast out in to newly unfrozen wilds. It was 22F 2 days ago (and had been that or lower for a week) and today was 58F and felt sooooooooooooooo gooooooood....The cats loved it too...actual ground under the feet and not ICE! I kept saying to them "Heck yeah you wanna go out! It's 50 degrees warmer than it was last week!"

All fab, Cookie, but the last photo is a stunner. That lip color is perfect on you. I love the scarf and sweater combo - which design is this, please? It’s familiar but I’m not figuring it out. And congratulations!Fri-yay’s sweet designer for me is Anamorphee - the dynamic duo of Charlotte Halpern and Bertrand Houdin.
First a picture of Metamorpose d’un Carre. This is unsigned, and I’m not 100% that is is Anamorphee - but the little origami design is so similar to Cocottes de Soie, that I think it must/might be! (Sadly I can’t find a mod foto!)

What a wonderful introduction, Yoon Daily Scarf, thank you, and this is going to be a fun week. Thanks so much to @Cookiefiend for her happy hosting last week’s theme, too. I can’t wait to try this knot.
@More bags @Agrume and @Living.la.vida.fifi thanks for your sweet comments on the jungle love bee jacquard. I didn’t want to make a multi quote of a multi quote to say thank you. Have a great week ahead!
Oh and @Yoon daily scarf you are the perfect choice to guide us through this knotty week. I’m thrilled to learn more knots as I probably have maybe 3-4 in my arsenal. So excited for this week to try new things ! Thanks for hosting![]()
