Beautiful bunny...
This is one of the reasons I am on SOTD: eye candy especially for scarves that would zombiefy me - desire at a distance

I adore octopii - in art and on my sashimi platter. Shall try this lovely way of wearing a scarf!

You tracked one down! You are an amazing hunter, Jbizzy.

My one and only plisse is an escape artist from knots.

 I know the feeling...

I wonder what was Music Maker's pricing when it was first issued... Definitely not twice the price. (Hint, hint, H!)

And thank you for the tutorial! Must try Bova knot again.

Thank you xcs! Maybe one day a triangle will call you too!

I am wearing 5 scarves :giggle::blush::yahoo:. Isn't it incredible? Thank you for letting me share, my first shirt made from scarves.
Can anyone recognized the scarf?:happydance:

Very nice job! All that matching! No wonder it took 5 scarves.

So fabulous!!:ps:How creative are you?:flowers:
hahaha,Thank you. I am not that creative, Hermes did it:heart:. Sorry for misleading.:giggle:
Amazing! Brandebourg?
Custom made or RTW?
I just got myself a skirt made from two Mythiques Phoenix. (Cost me less than 2 scarves :giggle: )
It is Order to made from March, took 7 months for H to make it :girlsigh:. But I am so glad, worth the wait..May I see your skirt please, I will follow your footstep:tup:
adorable! Brandebourgs lookin’ good!
hahaha I am so terrible with the game "name of the scarf", but I know for sure when I ask there will be an answer. :hbeat::hbeat:

This is amazing tlamdang, love your shirt and you inspire me to create something like this. I already thought about giving a vintage scarf a new life as a fourbi, but now I’m inspired even more. Great work and perfect design, love the detail with the bees too. Such a lucky shirt and unique.

Toys and games
Time to give our inner child free reign this week!

The H 2018 theme was "Let's Play" and H really played around with the concept. There are plenty of toys in the H archives, so it's not surprising that we can find dolls, bears and all kinds of games popping up in the scarf designs through the years.

One of the first H scarves was based on a board game: Jeu des Omnibus. The original scarf was shown at an exhibition here in Singapore and there was even an interactive app that showed visitors how the game was played.

A favourite scarf of mine is Tour de Monde en 63 Cases which came with a pair of dice and instructions. It's based on a 16th century board game called Game of Goose. Every little square contains a surprise!

Equal in popularity to board games are card games. And while some board games like chess are meant for only two players, card games can mostly be played by many. The average deck can be used for fortune-telling, but I like the intricate designs and symbolism of the Tarot.

Another recent design reminded me of a toy I grew up with: mix and match flipbooks. My mum got me one in vinyl material which she used to distract me in the bathtub.

Teddy bears of course are traditional toys, though much younger in history than Game of Goose.
Confidents des Coeurs with guest appearance by DS2's Brown Bearfoot and two tiny bear clips.

And naturally toys must have their accessories too. Presenting Brown Bearfoot and friend doing the H it Up with mini Brides de Gala. (I'm looking forward to comparing my mini BdGs with the new crop next season!)

Kids nowadays have virtual reality as their playground. An old movie The Last Starfighter had as its premise that an arcade game was used to train potential pilots in an intergalactic war. Sometimes, when I look at my sons playing their MMORPGs, I wonder if they would freeze or leap into action if an animatronic/alien dragon leapt from the screen.
Dragon Flash losange.

Children at play is the theme in one of my favourite scarves Triples. The adorable trio hop, skip and jump through all the Parisian landmarks. The scene I like best is their dip in the fountain.

Of course we can't leave out what the media euphemistically calls "big boy toys": the yachts, fast cars and other stuff I blink at when I read magazines recommending what to buy for those who have nothing left that they want or need to buy  Parures du Vent and its impressive array of fast car hood ornaments. I think I can afford a hood ornament, or a hub cap....

xincinsin - An excellent opening of the theme for this week! Interesting and amusing to read and to see all the different scarves!

Making a fourbi would be awesome! There used to be a DIY thread where people did creative things with scarves and bolducs. I think @Hermes Nuttynut shared some of her creations and home dipdyes. Can anyone find and revive that thread? I'd love to line a denim jacket with a scarf.

Great idea moma! I think we all scarfies (feeling I at this point belong to the mentioned group) at some point have a silk scarf we like to give a second life to. I’m definitely interested in finding that thread...

Marvelous intro—and maybe creatvely far-ranging enuf for me to connect something silken.
