I interrupt our regularly scheduled program to introduce some of my new scarves. So excited about these and they are most certainly magic.
First one is Philippe Ledoux’s Armeria from 1966 and in excellent condition. In this predominantly black CW, the title is not visible. Fascinating!

And, this year I finally got some 70s. First, Le Bal Masque and now not one, but TWO different gorgeous CWs of this special Quadrige! One has a fuchsia and the other a purple border. I played with them by tying them together and here are some knots

Those Quadriges with the psychedelic horse faces! Wow, have never seen that one. And in a 70cm too, just wonderful! And your Armeria is a classic beauty!

Thank you!!!
Thanks xincinsin. It is very soothing indeed. Looking forward to wearing it.

This is just lovely on you.

Congratulations Fifi! What a stunning classic Armenia is. Perfect on you. Your Quadriceps are a perfect couple together and look amazing tied as a duo.

Bova's knot is a true regular. It really does allow a pattern to be shown off. These are all fab examples.
Thank you so much! I am thrilled to have found these! And, the Bova knot is a much frequented one

Love the festive look of Quadrige!
Me too! They are such a joy!

To see one knot used in several scarves in a row, as here with the @Bova123 knot, is inspiring. It is a very smart way to tie a scarf! I never tried Bova knot, but will do now!!
Highly recommend it... a classic knot! Thanks so much!

It’s is just lovely!

Fabulous! You are so lucky to have found 2 of the Quadrige!
Such a lucky find! Thanks so much!

Marvelous! Congrats!
Thanks so much!

I love your Armeria! I have this same CW, but not nearly as crisp condition. I did attempt to rehome it once, but the buyer insisted it was fake because the title was not visible. (The predominantly black one with the red border also does not have the title, because black-on-black, obviously.) It was all so unpleasant and upsetting that I put the scarf away and can't even look at it. Anyway, thanks for the viewing pleasure!
My pleasure... And, Ugggh! Such ignorance! I did run this one by Geoff before purchasing it, though, just in case. I love it!

Oh no. I’m sorry for the bad experience. Selling can be so upsetting at times when you have to deal with unpleasant buyers. :hugs:

The Bova knot really seems to show off the contrasting hems. I’ve never tried it but am going to search for directions.
It looks so chic and casual.
It most certainly does! Thanks so much!

Today, another PdS. (My newest. - the colorway Fifi recently recommended.)

I am not good at photographing yet. The light at home and in my office are terrible for that.
Oh, my! You were so lucky to find it! It is sublime! Congrats!

Thanks so much! So happy with them!

And, how could I exclude the Fifi Knot from this gallery of knots... Well, this knot was actually named after me by our dear @Cookiefiend ... I find it’s such a neat and tidy way to tie a scarf close to the neck. Here it is with different scarves...

I can never get it looking as nice as yours. Must practice my Fifi knot more...

The colors are very nice on you. When that scarf came out in my experience it was hard to find one that tied really well, there wasn't a lot of this pattern at NM (where I saw it). You really know how to vary the way that pattern ties!
Thank you, eagle1002us! The day I tied these knots, I showed the photos and the scarf to my DH. He looked and looked, and told me that it was really hard to believe that all the photos were of the same scarf. Fun!

Y'all must be tired of it by now, but this is the 6th week in a row I've fit my Kachinas giant triangle in a theme. But it get a lot of wear, and a lot of different knots tried on it. Wearing it again today , in fact...

Wrapped 3 times tends to show the blue border:

Folded and draped tends to show the multi color and pinks:

An altered cowboy tie:

And yesterday I gave one my beloved Jaguar Quetzals some air time.

Tried a bias fold with a tie off, but it was too chilly outside.

So I switched to a cozy, neck warming cowboy tie.

Oh, I can never get mine to look as fluffy-wonderful as @Cookiefiend ... I think we might have to rename it the Cookie Knot! LOL

I can never tire of looking at that wonderful Kachinas... This is the one I gave my daughter for her birthday... I must remember to ask her to borrow it more often... It is glorious!

This is probably the knot I make the most. It’s my go-to knot for impact and drama, yet so easy to make, as you simply fold the scarf into a rectangle, drape over shoulders and insert all the points through a chain d’ancre scarf ring. Someone in Instagram called it an Octopus Knot. I have been stopped in the street by strangers asking me how I tied my scarf.

This another simple knot that is great for highlighting the center of a design and can look quite festive and jaunty...

fun day with tying a couple scarves, at my remedial skill level....
Music Maker MMXII, with which I and @AnnaE fell in love when modeled by @xincinsin. It’s a 70cm 2-sided silk twill, different prints. one is vinyl records in a light pink, despite my lousy iPhone piks. The other is a drawing of a recording studio, strewn with records, cassette tapes, musical instruments, etc.

The 140's are probably more billowy than the CSGMs. The latter probably lay more compactly. Let's just say the 140s are probably way more similar to parachute silk than CSGMs are.
Eagle, do you find the 140 silks a bit on the heavy side? A have a few, and sometimes I feel almost “weighed down” by them, as opposed to my, sadly so far, one and only 140 summer silk?
