Fellow scarifies - I'm writing a little apology. I've been told that my Aux Pays de Epices is a fake, a pretty one, but a fake none the less. I've reported the posts to the mods and asked them to remove them so no one makes the same mistake I did in thinking it was an authentic Hermes scarf.
I'm so sorry and terribly embarrassed.

Don't feel embarrassed. You're not alone. I've been stung too (by the same design but different format). I hope you can enjoy your scarf nevertheless.

I’m sad. [emoji17]. I have only 4 70s and no dip dyes. This could turn into a very covetous week for me with regard to the latter!

It’s supposed to warm up this week. I’ll believe it when I see it. But if it does, I’ll break out my 70s for some new pics. Meanwhile, here’s an archive shot of my favorite 70, Savana Dance. A la cavalla knot:

Great collection! Yes, we do like a lot of the same scarves. I have come close to getting a Jaime mon Carre a few times- you are lucky to have 2!

Like many others, love the vintage 70s. I have 9 - will show some individual mod shots later this week.
I do find that I particularly like some of the more whimsical designs in this format. I wear them mostly in the warmer weather.
I have just one DD- aloha which I showed last week.

I am always amazed how similar we choose colors, most of these could be mine, but we are only twins on the bain the mer (such an amazing scarf in this CW!)

For those who don't have 70cm vintage scarves or dip dyes (lookin' at you, fifi), don't forget that older scarves can be incredibly soft and some years seem softer than others. Multiple hand washings can soften scarves too.

Kimonos et Inros, washed many times to improve the color run on the yellow parts that even boiling water rinses didn't eliminate. (And the seller didn't mention it, either -- my fault for not noticing.)

Face au Large [2000] and Voyage au Long Cours [2001] both by Jarlegant and incredibly soft -- note that the years were sequential, so perhaps the sizing was light that year (or the pastel shades were softer).

I actually do really like the color run, it gives the scarf a very nice ombre effect.
