Lurve Dragonflies! I think we all wish the 70 size would come back! (And not in the way it is right now....)

Such a fab scarf!!!

Thank you!

Dang this is pretty.

:hugs:

Gorgeous! So delicate and pretty!

Thank you lala!

I love the softness of 70s but find them less versatile than 90s. I can really only wear them in a cowboy. Here are my five:

Shoot, I guess I’ve never taken a mod shot of this... Tours de Cles

Wow! Fabulous! Every one!!! Play with them some more, they really are pretty darned versatile! But hey, the cowboy is great on you.

Another beautiful jewel toned silk! Lovely!

Thank you kindly!

Like many others, love the vintage 70s. I have 9 - will show some individual mod shots later this week.
I do find that I particularly like some of the more whimsical designs in this format. I wear them mostly in the warmer weather.
I have just one DD- aloha which I showed last week.
Printemps/ ete 69/70, rendezvous rive gauche, les parisiennes( kiraz)
Bal masque, rose compass, ballet aquatique
Savana dance, dragonflies, Bain de mer

Wow! And your lipstick matches each silk perfectly too! Very glamorous.
Thank you!!

Thanks! I’ll whip out the Cles this week and see how else I can wear it.

I love your Savana Dance - you chose such a great cw! And if I could’ve gotten another Minuit, I probably would’ve chose yours, it’s such a wonderful green!

Fellow scarifies - I'm writing a little apology. I've been told that my Aux Pays de Epices is a fake, a pretty one, but a fake none the less. I've reported the posts to the mods and asked them to remove them so no one makes the same mistake I did in thinking it was an authentic Hermes scarf.
I'm so sorry and terribly embarrassed.
I’m sorry to read this dear. Better to find out now. And if it helps, you're protected against fakes on pp and ebay.

Although I don’t have many predominately green scarves, I do have quite a few with bits of green.
Here are a few more that I hadn’t posted earlier.

Eucalyptus green is the perfect description for your gorgeous Samourai, Scarf1! Look forward to seeing you wear it!

We are twins on 4 of these! And I love your others too. We really like the same stuff, @scarf1!

There may be still time to find one. Please try! I couldn’t believe that a very nice and persistent SA locates for me the yellow/grey Samouraïs at this late date!

As I informed etoiledemer, a very helpful SA located a Samouraïs for me just a few weeks ago. So they’re still out there. You must try!
Ah, I must clarify. I have 2 Samourais, so no worries on that end. I have the yellow & grey (twins with you) and the blue & red (twins with bunnycat). However, I have missed out on many other designs due to terminal dithering. Sometimes I'm lucky and I nab one later on the bay at cheaper than retail or I find one at an airport somewhere, but there are a few recent designs which I shall resign myself to living without unless I strike lottery

For those who don't have 70cm vintage scarves or dip dyes (lookin' at you, fifi), don't forget that older scarves can be incredibly soft and some years seem softer than others. Multiple hand washings can soften scarves too.
A soft old scarf: Veneries de Princes [1957] showing the mesh jacquard

Kimonos et Inros, washed many times to improve the color run on the yellow parts that even boiling water rinses didn't eliminate. (And the seller didn't mention it, either -- my fault for not noticing.)

Face au Large [2000] and Voyage au Long Cours [2001] both by Jarlegant and incredibly soft -- note that the years were sequential, so perhaps the sizing was light that year (or the pastel shades were softer).
