You are very photogenic :hugs:I am impressed with that jacquard. I struggle with them cuz they are stiffer; but it looks like this is a good way to tie it! I have one with weeds blowing into a fence (yeah, i know ) I might give it a try.
Ooooh essiedub, you have Grand Vent? That is SUCH an amazing scarf. It is high up on my grail list. And I agree, you are very photogenic Cookie.

Hello Beautiful, your Fauconnerie is a gem!

Huge congratulation, dublineuse!

Fabu, bunny dear!

Thank yo idear Croisette!

This is a gorgeous array of scarves!!! You have the coolest wardrobe also.
I really like your reasoning: a design that looks good flat as well as tied, PLUS ties without fuss. With several of my scarves I find I need to try hard to get one particular element to show.
Looking forward to some theme weeks that feature tying/knotting, color theory, personal philosophy of scarfing, etc. You guys do a great job with the themes!!

Thanks moma! That's so kind of you! We do have some tying themes coming up for sure. I think I developed that notion after taking a look at all the scarves that I might consider for favorite artists. I felt sure I would've chosen Dallet (because I do love my cat scarves) but I do always seem to have tying problems with them. Now Ardmore Artists was a consideration as well because they tie really well also and look nice flat and have lots of interest all over without being small and busy. I kind of wish I had more of their designs, but I only have 2 right now (Baobab Cat and Savana Dance) so that's why I let them out- I guess they are the runner up of the runners up.

I love Ardmore also. This birdsong tree design is so cute! Hoping for a fav or a 70 soon! Meanwhile thinkiNg about an enamel!!

bobkat, you have a wonderful collex!
Thank you, Croisette7! My collex bows to your vastly superior collex....

This Samourais is fabulous for you!!! Somehow I don't remember when you got it. This CW did not work on me, but I love it. So nice with your hair.
Thank you, momasauras. This cw of Samourais has left the building. I acquired cw 5, and dumped this one, alas!

It is hard to call one designer a favourite, there are so many I like: Annie Faivre, Toutsy, Christine Henry, Alice Shirley. What connects them might be intricare, "organic" patterns that speak to me. But also Aline Honore with her gorgeous borders. I did not count but I might have the most scarves by Annie Faivre, but this might be due to the fact that she made an abundance of designs and I fell very hard for Jardin de la Maharani (would have been suitable for multiples week).
Today I wore Aux Portes du Palais (C.Henry), tied in the newly learned collar (thank you @Cookiefiend and @Pautinka).
This is a very snuggly knot for cold days, highlights parts of the design that are often not seen, not a lot of silk to handle when being active, stays put - well, the knot always slides from the side to the center (grrrr gravity) - but once I accepted that I liked the feeling on my neck very much. I redid the knot later: looked neater, but then the light was gone.

Pretty, grapegravity!

Like many here, I have hard time choosing a "favorite". My immediate thought was Dallet and his cats but after pondering the question abit longer, I decided Ardmore Artists. I love their colourful and fanciful designs. And I like the fact that Hermes is help supporting traditional folk art. So here is my little collection:
Savana Dance (when it was colder in the week)
Baobob Cat
Flowers of South Africa
Zambezi
