My SA says the same to me too every time I keep trying to plead for a pochette and even a mini Lindy. Oh well, I’m still aiming to break her down eventually
You can just mention that you are interested in seeing the latest RTW or Watches. Sometimes they also have beauty events as well. Last time I went I spent $$$$ on other products not related to the event
I’m actually happy when not invited to these types of events. When invited, they are hoping you would purchase additional items from them. If you are interested in some of their new season RTW, it may be fun to attend and be the first to see the new items in person. Let your SA know and he/she should be glad to include you. If you are a watch enthusiast, they can invite you to view the new pieces they have when their watch representative visits the store.
As for the Kelly Pochette, as much as I wish to have more, I will share with you that I only own one and have been shown only two in the more than 10 years that I have been with Hermes. And I do purchase quite a lot of non-leather items. I know it will be even more difficult to get one at the moment due to the shutdown in France from COVID. Hopefully once things get back to normal, more KPs can be made in the future, and you and I both will be offered KP in the spec we want.

You need to let your SA know and they will do it next time. But it may not be so easy to say no to these invitations. I don't think they are for VIP only. It's more so just that SAs expect clients to make purchases subsequently.
In my experience, I get invited to events relating to the metiers I am most interested in. So for example, my SA knows we are into watches and invited us to a watch event. I'm not usually so keen on RTW so she didn't invite me to that. HTH
I don’t think there’s an expiration as well. unless you guys are idle for quite sometime. My SA told me just keep purchasing stuff to maintain your profile

I am definitely not a VIP or VVIP! I think my SA and I click and she said she really likes me so perhaps that’s how I got invited? I’m not sure, maybe a slot opened up because someone else cancelled with her? She literally told me about the event a week beforehand. Either way, I am definitely not the spendiest client, not by a long shot!
Started my Hermès journey at the San Fran boutique 4 months ago and yesterday was offered my 3rd quota bag. The first 2 I declined as they did not make my heart sing. I have the best SA and we clicked from the first time we met. Then yesterday she sends me this. Noir Togo Birkin 35 with PHW!! My dream bag offer and my heart sings!! Can’t wait to wear this baby out!!
