I would pay extra to get it directly from the boutique. The savings isn't great enough for the amount of worry it would cause.

I completely agree with all the previous posters. While $323 is not a small amount of money, the peace of mind you’ll have from purchasing directly from the boutique is worth the retail price.
Hi guys, I really want a bright red bag for the holiday seasons, I only own YSL bags (envelope, toy Lou Lou and small Lou Lou) I don’t know why I just love YSL so much ahywayyyyy I saw a toy Lou Lou in red on a girl on YouTube but can’t find it anywhere online. Did they stop selling it in red???
Yes I don't think they make a bright red loulou anymore. I was looking for one too. Not sure what your budget is, but if you like the toy / mini size, LV has the mini capucine in a nice bright red. I found the mini too small for me personally, small is a good size but feels too much in a red color.
It’s seems YSL barely makes any colors these days. It’s turned me off from them. I barely go in the store or check the website anymore because it’s so devoid of color. I actually just recently got a red YSL medium Envelope bag on Fashionphile.
I love the design of Loulou bag. My husband got me a small loulou and ever since then I’m struggling with the quality of this bag!
for the third time, I ended up driving two hours to the boutique and got one- but when I came home I noticed these flaws.. is this normal on all the loulou bags out there ? Or is it an obvious defect ?
First is the inconsistent stitching on the face, and the next thing is the cracks on both side of the bag where the D rings attach.

usually the flaws on loulou are dents in the leather. I haven't seen these types of bad stitching and cracks on the leather. I would not be happy with that quality.
Thank you ! I wasn't happy either so I went to the boutique to exchange the next day. The bag I exchanged has the card of 2024! All the rest of the bags I went thru were all made in 2022, the old stocks.
wow I cant believe they had those old stock bags and handn't sent them to outlet or department stores to off load. im glad you got it resolved. its a lot of money to spend on bad quality.
Thank you ! Yes Neiman Marcus had 2022 stocks and even the YSL boutique.. not sure if that’s just normal but wasn't happy at all. Now I might as well just go to the outlets because .. what’s the difference of going the boutique if I’m going to get the old stocks in full price anyway ? 😖
I wouldn't keep it based on it retaining value - it is not likely to get what you paid for it on the resale market. However if you love it then you should keep it.

I have only just seen that the Loulou is gone and replaced with a much smaller (much less attractive imo) version! I’m so annoyed, I was saving up to get one and they now are all gone from the website 😭
