Hate to say that it’s natural leather imperfection that comes like that. I exchanged 4 times for each different reasons but I had to accept that it is nearly impossible to find “the perfect” leather loulou bag. My brand new small loulou came with lots of natural wrinkles but it doesn’t bother me because all the other things about the bag screams luxury to me. But it’s personal preference I guess. Fatty part of the leather has wrinkles like that (usually the bottom area of the cow) and the upper area of the leather has less wrinkles but could have some imperfections like scars or bug bites which looks like a tiny cuts/scratches sometimes.

I recently purchased a medium Lou Lou in Rouge Legion second handed and I’ve been geeking out how beautiful the color is. I’m actually obsessed which feels a bit stupid … but anyways the bag is 4 years but still looks fantastic ! Does anyone have this same color ? I just love it !

This color is gorgeous! I have looked at it once in store and it appeared dark purple/deep red/burgundy depending on the light. SO beautiful!

Yes I’ve also just bought mine ,… the original Loulous were gone from the website all of a sudden. I panicked and quickly purchased via a luxury department store which had some « rest » in stock. But they only had white and beige.
I think this special dark red was discontinued a while before the Loulous disappeared from ysl.com

I liked it a lot because almost no other brand offered such a color. The burgundy colors of Chanel or the 2023 Vuitton for example always appeared too brown or dark for my taste.
Oh well. I will happily wear the beige now 😃

I agree, I was never attracted to a color bag before this one! I’ve always carried a black or brown.
I also checked the department stores and saw those two colors - white and beige. Beige looked really nice I thought. BerdorfGoodman had a large loulou in beige and silver for $3100 and I was extremly tempted but I chose this color..

I have a toy size in this beautiful color and love it too 😊. It’s so rich and unlike any other burgundy I have! I also purchased mine on the secondary market for an amazing price. I think mine is the same color? But in silver hardware
Don’t mind my strap, I have a secondary strap made for my toy bags as I rarely carry crossbody 😂

I think they are the same color. 😍 I’m currently obsessed with this medium size LouLou. I take her with me every chance I get and polish her every night lol it’s a bit crazy but I enjoy taking care of my leather goods. LouLou is my current obsession and I’m glad it’s just LouLou for now. Lol can’t handle another ! 😂
