Right, I am fine with wrinkling if that is just a “strecth mark” or a natural hide wrinkle. I am not fine paying 1400€ for a returned bag that shouldn’t have those imperfections at all. Since this is my first purchase of such high quality and expensive leather item, I am just not sure on what to expect. I know that the wrinkle is there in any case but it just kinda feels different you know?
This bag has wrinkles, but I don’t think it looks used. So many of these bags come this way, it’s got to be how they are stretching and sewing the leather. if you read back through this thread it’s post after post about these wrinkles. You can try your luck to return/exchange that’s not to say the next will come without these wrinkles. That’s the hard part of not picking it yourself in store.

Depends if it was purchased new or used. If it was new, it’s not acceptable. If it’s preloved, It should have been disclosed, in my opinion.

It looks much better. Gratned I took a very unflattering angle of mine. Here it is in an unflattering but less so angle:View attachment 6015861View attachment 6015862
I think these leather imperfections are the rule rather than the exception with Loulou bags. It does not look used to me. In the end it is your decision, whether you can accept it or not. It would not be a deal breaker for me. But yes these bags are expensive and one would expect perfect leather for that price.

Hello. I just bought this bag and was wondering is this normal leather imperfection or would you return this?View attachment 6015822View attachment 6015823
Wrinkles around the logo are common. Also, imprints from the chain are as well. I took mine back to the store because of the wrinkles and the ones they brought out were worse. However, the wrinkles were all around the logo. The wrinkles on the flap look like they may be from opening and closing the bag.

Sharing my latest buy - small Loulou so black! 🖤🖤🖤 this is my first black hardware bag but not my first and only Loulou. I had the toy Loulou in grey years ago but sold it as the capacity is too small, it couldn’t even fit my google pixel phone then! 😅 I’m so happy with this small size - it’s definitely more spacious and it’s a perfect crossbody!

Hi everyone, I’d love your advice on something. I’m considering buying the Toy Loulou bag and am trying to decide between purchasing it from a luxury reseller or directly from the boutique.

In my country, I’m wary of luxury resellers due to concerns about authenticity, as there are many high-quality fakes circulating. Buying from the boutique would guarantee authenticity and come with the complete experience, including the original paper bag, box, and receipt. Plus, having the boutique receipt might make it easier to resell in the future.

The price difference is $323.

What do you think? Is it worth paying the extra amount for the added security and benefits of buying directly from the boutique? Thanks for your thoughts!

I definitively think it’s worth paying the extra amount for all the reasons you listed above, but only you can make the decision if it’s worth it to you. Good luck! 💙

Definitely worth buying from the boutique for that price difference. You’ll never have to wonder if it’s authentic, and if there’s any issues with the bag, it’ll be much easier to get it taken care of if you purchased from them.
