I’m not sure how to check the color code, is it stamped somewhere? It does look like burgundy now that you mention it . I see a beautiful red cherry available as well, but that’s too bright for what I’m comfortable carrying.

It should be on the product tag (piece of paper included in the bag) or on the box. Cherry red is too bright for me as well. Did you purchase directly from the Saint Laurent boutique? Thanks!
Sorry for the delay in response, but work was super busy this week. Need to keep working to fund my purse obsession! I finally opened the bag and found the product tag with the envelope of papers, and the code is indeed 6475. I ordered it from Saks Off Fifth (at a great deal!) so if you’re still thinking about it, check their website. They’ve been selling out almost as soon as they get one in, but they’re also replenishing frequently. Get one too and enjoy it along with me!!

Stay strong and say no to the suede--unless it pops up at a super hefty discount! My suede bags are my least used bags because they are suede. I semi-regret the lighter colored one. I have yet to use it because it is such a light colored suede and am afraid it will get dirty. I bought it right after my toddler was starting to walk and wrongly assumed it would mean I wouldn't be carrying her so much any more. Wrong. It's a year later and I still carry her. She's kicked at my croasbody bags! Eh, I'd rather carry her though heavy as she is while I still can.I'm obsessed with the Chartruese Yellow, but wish it came in leather instead of suede on the lou lous(It's mostly on wallets, the camera bag and the WOC I already own in black.)

Hi Loulou owners. Can you please share how the glazing on the handles of your bag is holding up? I had problems on my camera bag just after using it a few times and I see that this is a common issue with the camera style bag. I didn't realize until I bought the Loulou home that this style also has a similar attachment on the inside of the bag where the straps are attached as well as the shoulder pad. How is this holding up for you? It's terrible how easily the leather here cracks.

I was so excited to receive my small loulou today but when I opened it, I’m seeing a few creases. They don’t look too terrible but I was expecting a perfect bag, maybe I shouldn’t have?Will these go away after a few days or should I return/exchange? I bought from YSL online directly.
Can you go to the store directly? The store brought out like 4 pieces for me to select from, all had creases except one which I took home. But I'm sure with use, the creases will develop anyway. So even if you exchange it, the next piece will likely have it too. Best to see it in person if possible.
