In love with my first Loulou medium in Taupe colour (if I’m not mistaken). I’m not sure what the color actually called because way too excited when the SA pulled out this bag and forgot to ask about it.

That is such a gorgeous gorgeous bag!!! Way better than black in my eyes!!!

I am wondering though if it might be grayish brown instead of taupe. The colors on the website are terrible. I've been thinking of the graying brown color for a bag but if that's the taupe then I may have to rethink what I'm thinking, LOL. Sadly, going to the boutique is a huge ordeal because I have a toddler who is currently in a tantrum phase.

If anybody is going to a boutique soon can you take a pic comparing taupe and grayish brown small loulou bag colors? and say if you think the color is true to life or how you think it is different?

Thank you dear, all colors are really gorgeous! But agreed with you that the colors that they put on the website didn’t do justice to the actual ones.

does it say on your box from boutique? I only bought both of my loulous pre loved so I don't know if the packaging or receipt would tell you the color way. Id love to know as well bc that color is fantastic. enjoy your new bag!

No dear, the box doesn’t have any sticker code on it but I attach here the card that came together with the bag, maybe there is a code color there (which I didn’t know how to read the printed numbers )

I did a little translating and this just means calf leather bag. maybe someone who works with ysl can give us a color name. thanks for posting this

Actually I really want to buy the black with gold hardware but when he showed me that piece (new one) there was few fraying on the stiches that I can spot on, so a big NO for me + there were few creases too.

Unfortunately for black color with gh only one piece left + the floor model which also a NO for me.

So when he showed me the rest of the available colors that was available yesterday, the Taupe one just catch my eyes instantly. In future maybe (I said maybe ), I still want to buy the black medium with gh because I just love black so much for bags.

*Just need to inspect the bag carefully even though it’s from the SL boutique itself huhu..

I never cared for YSL until I saw Lou Lou and fell hard for her! She’s got the elegance of the Chanel classic flap but at a fraction of the price, which sings to my “practical” side...is it still practical when spending this kind of money on a purse?! LOL!! I started with a medium black and just added the red this week. Thanks for letting me share my happiness!!

Hello! I'm planning to add the small Loulou in the blanc vintage color to my collection. If anyone has this color, can you comment on how it has held up to color transfer and general wear and tear? I am missing a white bag to my collection and the Loulou fits my needs perfectly. I have a camera bag in dark beige (which is pretty light in person) and very happy with it so far in regards to color transfer and wear and tear so I really hope the white will be as carefree. Hoping to add this before the next price increase, fingers crossed!

I have a blanc vintage small puffer. I didn't want to use the bag until I sprayed it with Carbon Pro which is also supposed to help prevent color transfer. I haven't used it as much as should but I have used it a few times and am glad I sprayed it before using. I feel like it's pretty carefree but I do reach more for my darker bags because I'll occasionally wear it crossbody to get it out of the way and I have a toddler who wants to be carried a lot and has kicked at my bags before while I'm wearing them crossbody. I am not sure the Carbon Pro can protect from dirty little kicking shoes.

I also have a small loulou in blanc vintage but it is maybe not especially relevant to your inquiry. I haven’t used my small loulou yet because I won't use it until I've sprayed it. And I just haven't had time to spray it since I will only do that when my hubby takes our toddler out for a few hours. It is a beautiful bag but I think I maybe should have gotten a different color because it's a similar size and function to the puffer. But it's so pretty though and this shade of white goes with so many color combinations.

I have a toy loulou in blanc vintage for now four years and it looks still pristine.

I have worn it a lot, also with denim, an no color transfer so far. Oh, and it has never been sprayed with anything to protect it.

I've never sprayed my bags, I'll check it out. Oh yeah definitely be careful around kids. It's nice that you have both. They serve different purposes IMO as the Loulou is great for dressy occasions. I only wished they offered more hardware options like a champagne gold. The yellow gold is a bit too yellow for me.

Hi! Is the red color the “rouge legion” style/color ending in 6475? Trying to determine how many reds there are in this style. It’s so pretty, I want a true burgundy colored bag!
