I've seen it in store and it looks a little darker than the alpine moss.
It is darker, a bit more mossy green. Not so dark though that the black accents don't provide a contrast.
Thanks so much for the responses. Think I will go for it.

IMO, yes. The only thing missing, which isn't a big deal for me personally, is the lock. I read the leather used for the trim (handles, zipper, etc.) is a different, lighter leather than on the original. Its smoother but unless you had an original side by side, I don't think I'd immediately notice. I also read that the zipper is different but I see no sacrifice in quality, anywhere, with this 2nd generation. I carry it as a shoulder bag & find it yummy & comfortable, which I could not say about the 1st generation chalk that I tried desperately to make work. Others may feel differently but this is just my personal opinion.
I own a newer rogue. I like the newer zipper pull better than 1st generation. The pull seems more substantial. The bag overall seems a bit lighter but it is hard to judge. I do miss the lock but the new zipper makes up for it. View attachment 3369262
They are a dark burgundy. Here is the only picture I have so far of mine. I can take a better one later and post it. View attachment 3370212

That is a great picture, and the bag looks amazing, congratulations! I love it with that charm, too!
Beautiful. What a gorgeous shade of red. Regarding zippers, same experience here. Ist Gen I need two hands to close zipper. 2nd gen one handed. Thanks for the photo.
As far as PCE I thought I read rogues will be excluded. They are making fewer bags to keep them limited edition, which means no excess going to outlets, and the officianados on this blog keep current and get to order their favorites in plenty of time. That red is definitely on my wishlist.
Wow. Your picture makes this color Rogue look even more beautiful.
You got me thinking about getting one now.![]()
Thanks! I love the black and red contrast the charm adds.
Thanks! Yes, it is a beautiful red and my picture is pretty true to color. I had the black rogue 25 but even though it was nice, it was just too small, so I got this red one instead and I'm in love. I started carrying it immediately and cannot stop staring at its beauty [emoji7]

I have the red as well and it is just as stunning as the photos show. I've always wanted a red bag (even though that's out of my normal muted tones) but I never found one that checked all the boxes. This is it...from the color to the pockets (and their color) to the hardware, etc. I actually purchased the Rogue 25 in Forest and exchanged that for this red one. I'm debating between the black feather charm or the black tearose charm. I have the olive and red in this 2nd generation...stick a fork in me, I'm done (for now)
I'm not a big red fan but I really like it in this bag. My store was showing it with the medium Rexy and it looked nice. Hmm. Maybe I should add a red Rogue to my list.
