I really hope they haven't cheapened it by trying to make it "lighter". Maybe when you get yours you can compare as well.

I already wish they kept the pebbled trim leather vs the new smooth handles. But, I've really been wanting a deep mossy green and black bag for a long time. I missed out on the alpine moss borough awhile back and kicked myself for it. The rogue seems like a great replacement.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! Before the 1941 collection the majority of my bags and slgs came from the outlet or department store clearance of at least 50% off. I'm loving his new designs and leather so much that I feel they are totally worth a PCE price. I don't want to risk waiting for them to possibly hit the outlet or not and missing out. Now the olive rogue at full price took some careful analyzing before pulling the trigger, but I think it will be worth it.

I'm sure you will be happy with your Olive rogue.

Before 1941 bags, I feel in love with the Nomad and I bought the Color block Exotic Sand Nomad using PCE and a gift card. Afterwards, I bought an Oxblood Nomad, Racing green Ace and Color block exotic regular swagger. I really like the Nomad and want some more colors (True Red & Cornflower or Eggplant), but I think I need to wait. If I find them at outlet for good prices, I will buy them. I also, bought Snoopy Surrey satchel, hair calf clutch and rivet Dakotah bag.

There are Rogue bags listed on Nordstrom as "new". They appear to be the 2nd generation medium in most colors. However, there is an Oxblood color that Coach didn't or doesn't seem to have (original oxblood had black handles right?). Also, although the pictures could be inaccurate, many photos show the lock being part of the design. I guess we'll only know for sure when we see in person. My local store only has a small Coach section so I doubt they'll have it in store but you never know. If they do, I'll report back...I'd be interested in the oxblood but only if it were the new, lighter, version.

I have the 1st generation mineral and the new version in chalk. There are things that make both special. The newer bags are lighter weight but the trims seem nicer to me. (See photo) The zipper in the newer bag is thicker and more stylish, and easier to use and seems more luxe. The mineral bag is heavier, which I don't necessarily like, and I do miss the look of the lock.View attachment 3371985
Is this the medium?

Update:
Local Nordstrom had the medium Rogue in Oxblood, Black & Saddle. They also had the medium size rivets with black leather.
None of the Rogues had the lock so they must be the 2nd generation ones. The oxblood is an updated one with handles/interior the red family, although slightly lighter than the main color. So, as pictured on Nordstrom's site.
I thought the Oxblood would have me reconsidering my red one but it didn't. Whew! ;-)

Was the rivets one heavy? Nordstrom's website lists it as over 3 lbs and I thought I read on TPF that the large was only 2.5lbs. Weight is a deal breaker for me.

They are making less of the bags now. Many of the colors are considered limited editions to avoid ending up at the outlets. A lot of the 1941 bags are only being made of quantities of 100 total. I believe they are only making 100 Tearose Rogues, for example. 100-200 of the chalk new medium rogue, etc. I learned my lesson on the mineral Rogue. Ended up with someone's returned bag.

Wow, that is limited. I can imagine the tea rose being limited as it looks like it takes a lot to make the bag. So gorgeous though. . . can't wait to see real pics.
