I'm still in love with mine. I haven't carried it in a while because I've been carrying more spring/ summer bags, but the love is still there. What is causing the mixed feelings? :smile1:
I have the suede one, and it's my first suede purse, and I love the way it looks. But I carried it today for the third time, and it was heavy with hardly anything in it. I have to take it off my shoulder to reach into the bag and due to the weight it's a major inconvenience. I was shopping and I had bags in my hands and the purse on my shoulder, and it was a hassle because of the weight.

I thought I'd found a crossbody strap for it, but it wasn't comfortable because the strap was too thin.

Wow, no one else feels the weight? What am I doing wrong? I don't have back or shoulder issues. Maybe I've worn crossbody purses too long that it's hard for me to adjust to the change.

Is everyone still in love with the medium Rogue? My feelings are very mixed at the moment. I'm hoping they'll change, because I can't return it now.

I still love mine. I carry it everyday to work. I did take off the hangtag, the key holder and the tea rose charm I had on it because, along with the shoulder straps, I felt there were just too many things dangling from the sides and that made it feel too busy for me.

Maybe a custom strap from Mautto could save it for you...

Wide cross body strap is what makes Rogue usable for me.

I share your mixed feelings re: weight (considering that it doesn't hold much and is too small to be a work bag)- yet still happy with it as a weekend bag.

I have the suede too and I do still love mine. Honestly, I do feel the weight and I'm starting to see how it will be annoying for a whole day of lugging it around. I live in a rural area and I drive everywhere, so my carrying of a bag is fairly limited (from car into store/restaurant/appointment and back to car). I am really physically fit with broad shoulders and I workout with heavy weights 5x/week, and yeah, I still feel the bag is heavy. So I don't think you're doing anything wrong. It probably has more to do with how used you are to a heavy bag. I also have an Alexander Wang Diego and she is H-E-A-V-Y!!!! and that annoys me too. Rogue is similar in weight. So I guess I'm a bit used to heavy bags even if I don't always care for it that much. They're both too beautiful to quit as far as I'm concerned.

Also, I LOVE the compartments and space in the medium. It's really convenient for me compared to many other bags and especially that black hole of a Diego I have. I never have to dig around for lost things and it's easy to access all the compartments.

I don't quite get what you mean about having to take it off your shoulder to get things in and out of it, though. I usually just slip one of the shoulder straps off my shoulder and let it dangle there while I access the compartments. Maybe it's something about how we're built?

I did and returned mine before I used it. Just knowing it weighed 6 pounds killed me. And then I got MRI results back and found out I have a herniated disc and between that pain and shoulder pain that I sometimes get (I can't even turn my head right now), I knew it was not going to work. I can't suffer for fashion. Shoes and bags have to be comfy.

Thank you! I'm going to check into that because I need something. I don't want to lug it over my shoulder.

It may be the way we're built, not sure. I'm 5'9, physically fit, but I don't work out as much as you do. I never carry heavy bags but I fell for that one based on the way it looks and the fact that I really wanted a suede purse. If they'd made that exact purse in the 25 size I would have been so happy as that's the perfect size for me, but I need the lock as well.

I can remove one of the straps from my shoulder and dig in, which I did once, but it annoyed me due to the weight. It's a love/hate relationship. I love the way the bag looks, but hate the weight. It probably won't get used that much unless I can purchase one of those custom straps, which I'm definitely going to look into.

Lucky you on the return. Oh how I now wish I would have returned mine. I so agree with you about shoes and handbags have to be comfy. I didn't feel the weight of the handbag right away, but right after I cut the tags and conditioned the suede and put my things in, I noticed it. Then, when I received the smaller size Rogue I really noticed the weight difference. It's a brick, IMO.

Agreed about the size. I wish for the exact bag in a 25. But with no lock and no suede available it's a NO GO at that price point. So I feel really happy and satisfied that I got the best bag for me at a discount and I'll just put up with the weight and extra size (it's a bit bigger than I'm used to and a bit more space than I need...but OTOH I can fit my iPad Air in there which is useful since I'm a remote worker and sometimes need access to my work email and a proper keyboard while I'm running errands/away from my desk).

Please let us know what you find out about the strap. I might could be in the market for just such a thing as well. I can see how that might come in handy!

These site has promise. I think I'm going to order a sample color pack to match the color of the purse and custom order a strap with gunmetal hardware.

And lucky you on the small. Being in Canada I can't justify $750 for it (with tax) and it's excluded from all discounts now. I really wanted one, but not at that price. So please enjoy that one for me!!
