I have to pull the zipper flange aside to even see the area; it's just where the flange and the top edges on both the side compartments and the gussets all meet up. It just looks like sloppy edge coating due to a lot of complexity with different edges touching/meeting up to me, but it's totally concealed unless I go looking for it and it doesn't look like anything that will tear further if it's just left alone and not picked at.

All the stitching on mine is fine so far.

It becomes a high stress area when carrying crossbody- which is the way I use it most often. You're right - would not be a stress point with the shoulder straps.

I was considering returning the 25 any way because as nice and lightweight as it is, for the amount of times I'd carry it, I just don't feel it's worth the price. And I'm still bummed that it doesn't have a lock.[/QUOTE]:sad:

ahhh... I though you wondered if you should have gotten yours yet. Was the rep able to tell you if you are in the system for this event? The extra 5% is always nice if you're spending a significant amount. I always say "1 bag".... but I don't think I've ever stuck to my limit:smile1:

I know they are having an event coming up this Friday that is 25% off the entire store, 30% for "VIP" customers. I would call customer service or go into your local store and see if you are on this list for 30%. If you worked with someone I am sure they can bump you up the 5% anyway. It's been my experience if you buy something in the previous year you'll likely be added to the list by JAX. At any rate for sure you'll get the 25% off. Unclear if pre-fall and rogues are going to for sure be excluded.

Yes, I am, and I think I'll be getting two bags, but then I'll be down for a long while.

I'm still in love with mine. I haven't carried it in a while because I've been carrying more spring/ summer bags, but the love is still there. What is causing the mixed feelings? :smile1:

I adore mine. (Chalk) ... the details, the styling, the wonderful chewy leather - I think it's beautiful and every time I pick it up I am happy I bought it. :smile1:

Edited to add ... the 25 would feel like a "small bag" to me, I think --- but I haven't seen it in person (I do love smaller bags though - I have a saddlebag 23 and love it!) -- and the 36 is gorgeous and would carry a lot but sometimes with bags that size I feel like I'm carrying luggage :D ... so I think the medium is just perfect for me. (Sounds like goldilocks!)
