Rejuventating, Repairing or Restoring Your Balenciaga

Hi there,

I recently bought a second hand Bal and though the seller claimed it was in brand new condition, the leather was rather seasoned when I received it, really smooshy, moist and shapeless.

I'd like to know if there's any way I could restore the bag – perhaps stiffen it up a little (so at least it would have a decent shape) and remove some of its exisiting "moisture" without actually having to recolor it? Is there a service provided at ColorWash (I'm situated in Singapore) for this? Or does Balenciaga offer such a service?

Any form of help, advice or opinion will be greatly appreciated, thank you!

HI all! Has anyone had their handles replaced or restored? I just purchased a pre-owned Balenciaga first (I've always like the earlier models) and I just got it. It definitely needs some TLC, can someone advise the best way to go about restoring the handles and just giving this bag an overall cleaning and restoration? Greatly appreciate any help!
Did you find any solutions to this? This is happening to mine to. I purchased it second hand and am trying to restore it.

You can check the LovinMyBags by Barbara site. They restore Balenciaga bags. But make sure you explain exactly what you want and ask for the price as I cannot tell you where they are about.

hi lady's :")

i wanted to buy a red b online but unfortunately the handles were dark :( is there any way i can get them fixed ??

Trying to clean them yourself won't do. You can send the bags to Barbara (LovinMyBags). Send her an email and ask the repair cost and everything. I have heard she does a wonderful job with bags. Also all the products I have bought from her are great. She is Barbara Crouthamel.

Hi ladies. First of all happy new year!!!
Can someone please tell me if Lovin My Bag Spa is still working? Because i sent them mails about color restoring infos for several months (maybe since last march) but had no reply by them. Thanks in advance :)

I dealt with them in November. What email are you using? [email protected] is the one I used.

Thanks for your answer!! It's the same i used, but i got no reply, just the authomatic one with written something like "we received your Mail, we will answer within 24/48 hours". But then never got an answer.

Try calling. I took this from their website:

They do have a few other locations worldwide but I have no idea as to the quality of their services other than the NY one. (UAE, Philippines, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia).

I brought my long city strap to a leather specialty store because I needed to get extra holes punched. Once that was complete, I asked the man helping me if he had any advice on how to care for the bag (it's my first Bal!) He advised me to take a damp sponge and wipe down the bag once a month in order to avoid the leather drying out. He seemed to be the guy in charge so I assume he knew what he was talking about, but I just wanted to double check here before I do this.
