^^^ Thanks for the address! I called them and mailed it off today, insured and all. I will keep everyone posted on how it turns out. I'm trying not to be down on all metallics right now. I'm just a bit shocked that this all happened over the course of a 2-hour dinner.

Pearl - I like your idea. If they can't fix it, I will probably try something like what you said. I am really really hoping that someone who knows what they are doing (vice me) will be able to fix it though. My mom once sent me to the hardware store for some paint for her bathroom and I totally missed the matching process. It ended up looking like a lemonaid bomb.

Didi - Isn't Denial the first step? I wonder about my compulsive nature with regards to bags sometimes too.

Good luck, Balenciagalove! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you--I'm sure they can fix it for you! :)

I HATE it when people say "just don't look at it". totally minimizes a real issue, and completely invalidates our experience! I'm in the mental health profession so I know real OCD from OCD-just-want-my-b-bag-to-be-perfect, and WE DON'T HAVE OCD!!! HAHAHA. Am I in denial?

;)

I'm going to take it from you that I just want the lovely bags to look their best .... :D no denial I think!!!

Good luck with artbag Balenciagalove!

still no word from Brandi. I just emailed her again this morning. we'll see. THANKS everyone!

btw, I'm SOOO tempted to lub the cornflower shrug! I just want to swoosh it and make it swooshy! haha!

Hello, I've been reading this forum for quite sometime, but I'm too shy to join the great conversations that all of you had. I recently noticed a tiny ripped in the corner of my bag. I guess the ripped is caused by the friction between the bag & my jeans. Does any of you have similar problem? What should I do to fix it & protect the leather from further ripped? Thanks so much for your suggestions...

Ooh... I don't know what solutions there would be to that... I think leather will tend to do that over time (esp. in places like the corners where it's exposed to a lot of friction). Hope someone can help out!
