I don't own a bbag yet, but I admit that this thread has me worried... a bag as expensive as Balenciaga needing restoration after a couple of years use? I can't believe all of you are hard on your bags, so what gives? I take it Balenciaga doesn't do its own restoration, like Coach does?

I'm sad... I want one but can't afford to buy one if it's not going to hold up. I tend to buy a bag that I love and use it every day until I find the next bag that I love, and I'm pretty loyal to each bag (2 - 3 years of use) before moving on.

:confused1:  :crybaby:

If you choose black you will have absolutely no problem in doing that:shame:

I just received a Lilac Work I purchased from a reputable ebay seller. I was so excited to open the box (as you can imagine) and take my first look at her. OMG, what a total letdown. She is sooo faded and tired looking! The sellers description stated that the bag is in "excellent condition." Not so at all. It does not even begin to describe what she really looks like. While I understand that it can be difficult to capture accurately the color of a bag, the photos in the listing had a much more vibrant lilac color. Inside the front pocket I can see the beautiful color she was in her better days.
So, do you think there is anything that can be done to restore her faded color or do I just have to chalk this up as a lesson learned?
I AM SO DISAPPOINTED!!!
Thanks for caring...
:sad::sad::sad:

was this the one from lvlady99? i remember the bag being kind of yellow in the front. i've read that LMB products might help with fading leather. maybe you should email them a picture and see what they say.

I bought the day bag in my sig from her & it looked really dry and faded when it arrived. I used the LMB conditioner and shine restore & as you can see, the bag looks great now.

Hopefully you will be able to do the same:idea:

Yes, it is the lvlady99 bag. I guess my eyes are not experienced enough to notice the yellowing in the photos. To me, it looked beautiful. Oh, well...

I got my Rouge VIF City from lvlady99 and it was in pristine condition... however, it was BNWT

I think if its really bothering you, contact her and see if she can refund you the money... or work something else out?

Did you get it quite cheap? Usually the price of a bag "should" depict the condition of it...

Otherwise, if you can invest in some restoration, then it may turn out as lovely as ever!

Good Morning Everyone,
Thanks for all your kind words and great suggestions. I feel better already.
I did email her this morning and I will let you know what her response is. Hopefully, she and I can work something out. If not, I will contact LMB and see what I can do to have her restored.
You guys are the best and it helps that you completely understand.

LMB = Lovin my Bags....visit their website...some great products for B bags...I need to find out if the B bag conditioners/cleaners etc will also work on Chloe bags or should I get something else just for them...anyone know??
