Pewter, I DID NOT know that about eggplant, that is now off my list (and frankly, thats a relief, EGGPLANT CAN BUST THE BANK)

Highgloss, thanks so much!!!you are a doll!

   Julie

I am really, really sorry about you bag. I was so hoping you already were able to fix it. I am hoping that something will be able to be done for it. I also agree with that even though you were going to sell it that it still matters. I know I would be upset about this.

I am sooooooooooo sorry Julie-girl:crybaby: ...I am holding onto the belief that LMB can help you out! I am quite confident that the stain can be lessened or hopefully totally removed:yes:

I  my little kitty, but he's very mischevious and curious. I've been really careful about keeping the tassels of all my bags out of sight, but I think the smell of the leather attracted him in a bad way.

In any case, I picked up my Greige First this afternoon as I was heading out, and there it was -- a little hole in the front of the bag!!!! It's definitely a kitty tooth that did it. It probably happened when I put the bag down for a second while I checked my makeup in the bathroom...

Not only is there the little hole, but the area around it is darkened, probably from his saliva.

I don't know what to do...I'm crushed!!!! I think I'll use Apple or LMB cleaner to try to get rid of the darkness. But because the leather underneath the dye is darker, the hole is very dark.

I was thinking of putting a pin in some bleach and applying it to the inside of the hole. It won't look so bad if it weren't dark.

Or I can just wait until I need something else repaired, or a professional cleaning or something and have LMB try to fix it some year in the future.

What do you think?

I'm trying not to be mad at my kitty, 'cuz I'm sure the leather smelled delicious to him and worth sampling, but...ARGH!!!! NOT the way to start a weekend!

Well, now you have learned a valuable lesson---don't put your bag where your kitty can get to it! LOL...my babies love my bags---if I set them down within reach they will be all over them in seconds! Nothing's cuter than seeing a lil kitty head peeking out the top of my LV bucket or one of my Betsey Johnson work totes. It doesn't bother me--they're just bags. Except for the Chanel of course--all baby kitties must respect the Chanel!

lol. madamefifi has got it down to a T, the important bags (to you) must be kept away from kitties at all times..no matter how adorable they are b/c they'll do something innocent but damaging to your bag

hopefully the hole isn't that big? since your kitty is little and a tooth mark shouldn't be that noticeable.

I would leave it alone for 36 hours or more. Let the area around dry real well. I bet its hardly noticeable then. After that perhaps a teeny tiny bit of leather glue will work . Bad Kitty!!!

oh sweetie :crybaby:
what about if u take a pic of it and we can all assure u hopefully that its not that bad/noticible? at least u get to feel better and start using it with joy like u intended to
else maybe the girlz then would advise u what to do best when they see its pic.
all in all.. i feel sorry for kitty's mistake.. boy b bags must be tasty as much as they are beautiful
